If I could give zero stars I would. Beware of this man. I was taking my son to see him every other week. Something came up one week and I had to cancel, and this "doctor" refused to refill two weeks of medication for my son- specifically his ADHD medication. We had been seeing this doctor for three months, every other week, and he stated that unless I came to the office and paid my copay, he wouldn't refill it. He robbed my son of his quality of life for two weeks. After I told him he would no longer be getting my business, he called me multiple times at work and harrassed me stating that for all he knew I was using the medication myself, despite him having my son's medical records dating back to 2015 when he first started taking ADHD medication. I told him places in the past have happily offered me to come pick up a written prescription and were understanding of the situation, but this "doctor" said I had to pay the copay to even just pick it up from the front desk. $60! He is money hungry and unethical. After I chewed him out and told him I was reporting him to the medical board, he called me trying to make amends. His emotions were all over the place- he is clearly NOT a stable person. My son's well being was not priority for this man, just know this man's heart is not morally straight, and it's clear he does not have a passion for what he does.

Excellent service from start to finish. When you enter, the waiting room has great chairs and they don’t make you wait too long either. Always clean and friendly staff. These little things are very important to me. And of course the medical professionals who care for my mental health are top notch in my opinion.

I was referred to him by the SSA. He wrote multiple lies on my SSD review form - "facts" that were wrong and answers I didn't give. This caused me to be denied. At that appointment, I waited over an hour for him to arrive at the office.

Dr. Jain is great! He is a caring and supportive caregiver. He has several methods of treatment and does not just hand out meds to treat patients. I have lived in all of 7 of the largest metropolitan areas and he is the best!! I highly recommend him

Primarily just a money grab. My wife went to him and I accompanied her on each visit. The staff was fine but Dr. Jain seemed only interested in piling on more 'services' . For the meds he prescribed he made us come back every 2 weeks and pay again for a visit just to get med refill prescriptions. Happily she has found another doctor who is completely different.

Worse place ever.....he had no intention to see me made me wait 2 hours took all of his patience that came before and after me and the once that came after that. This place cares about money and that's all.....the board needs to look into his practice as I think all he does is write prescription to whom ever needs one and kicks them out...since I was a new patient he knew it will take little longer so he never took time to see me...I want to give this place 0 start if I can be aware and stay away from this place....

This is the perfect place to seek help if you are in need. If you are looking for psychiatric care, I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Jain. He has great staff and caring people who work with him. They really go out of their way to put a smile on your face and make sure you leave in a better state than you came in.

My appointment was at 1 p.m. didn't see me until 4 just to tell me they were charging me $500 dollars for an ADHD test. I called my insurance and they mentioned that they don't know why this practice is charging this fee as it is not conventional. I've seen other doctors before and I have never heard of such a thing especially with awesome medical insurance. So stay away from this shady practice as they will try to pull a fast one on you, the insurance agreed that they are pulling a fast one on people.

I would give 0 star if I can. Over booked his appointments. Did not get to me until one and half hour. Even than I did not get to see Dr. Jain. I got to talk to a 22 yr old first day employee who was going to work the front dest. DO NOT COME HERE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. THEY CHARGE $250 FOR CASH PATIENTS. Not professional at all. Worst experience ever. His time with patients was less then 5 min. He must have took about 20 patients in 1 and half hour. Another patient was upset he was in a room for 35 min and still hadn't seen Dr. JAIN. Think twice before you come here. This should be the last resort in Texas before you see Dr. Jain.

Don't waste your time!! This office is seriously lacking communication! After an hour being put on hold every 2 minutes I finally had a new patient appt to see Dr. Jain. The day before the office called to confirm my appt and everything was good. I show up for the appt, (an hour drive) fill out my paperwork and give them my copay, I'm told Dr. Jain is not in the office and they need to reschedule me!! We reschedule for the following week. The day before they call to confirm and I ask if Dr. Jain will be there and they tell me NO and reschedule me again! I called the day of my 3rd appt and again was told Dr. Jain may not be there that day and the office would call to let me know. After not hearing from them I called and we told that I could make my appt but it was a 'cash appt.'. Told the lady I have insurance and the ridiculous hassle I was having w the office. She puts me on hold and comes back to say 'We definitely don't take insurance, it will be cash for the visit!' Umm.. why did y'all take a copay and insurance info from me?! Filed a complaint with my insurance company as they are listed with BCBS. Save yourself the aggravation and go to another doctor!

This insurance scamming PAKI is the worst in the industry, he will only give out 2 week meds at a time to keep you coming in to pay co-pays his assessments are not shared he thinks he is above everyone. My insurance was fraudulently billed by APOK for over 12k I reported him, there is a serious investigation going to happen as this is not the first offence. Please stay away he is not qualified his credentials are fake and he is ok with this because we are infidel. A very sick man and staff soon to hopefully be deported.

I wanted to wait for a day and download what happened before I posted this review. I was really hoping I was an anomaly, but it turns out others have the same issues here. I was referred here by my PCP. Only 15 min before my appointment started, the office decides to call me and tell me my insurance is out of network and they don’t accept. 15 minutes! They said it would be $250 for my first visit! I was upset because I took off of much needed work to have this appointment and they decide to tell me it’s not covered. I spoke with some sort of supervisor and worked out a visit cost lower than that since it was their mistake. I finally get there and go in for my appointment. Low and behold, I don’t even see a psychiatrist. Instead I see a nurse practitioner STUDENT. Nothing flowed right and he had a mentor telling him what to fill out as he asked me the same questions for half an hour. Absolutley nothing had been accomplished for what I was there for. Fast forward as I wait and think I am finally going to see a psychiatrist when another gentleman walks in. So now I have 3 people in a tiny room staring at me as this guy comes in with a prescription tablet. We have a 3 min conversation about a medicine he is going to put me on (keep in mind I didn’t even talk to this guy about what’s going on), he didn’t even seem to know what it was for. It felt fishy as I scheduled again in two weeks (which I am cancelling). So I fill my prescription, go to work, and come home to do research. The medication this guy prescribed me was not even for ANY of the symptoms I told the other two!! I’m honestly in shock. This place took a lot of my money for some BS and a bad prescription. DO NOT GO HERE! There are a lot of other places. People come in for real problems and this place gets away with doing this?

Ashley Leverett

It is very worrisome to me that mental health professionals can’t be trusted. The negative reviews are true. He will attempt to get you to come in twice a month for an appointment for a refill. This is not standard practice. You will spend the first hour of your appointment with his “student”. The latter will be spent with him trying to coerce you into getting TMI. Please, stay away.

I have been disabled for years with Multiple Sclerosis. I am so thankful for Dr. Jain and having him in my life to guide me through these difficult times. The disease process is waxing and waning so my life is always in shambles. Any slight changes in my diet, exercise, or mood can send me spirally down into a bottomless darkness from which I cannot escape. However, when I started seeing Dr. Jain, I finally found a way to moderate my condition! Although life is still hard for me, Dr. Jain has found a way to control the issues that I have and help me to improve my quality of life. I have never met such helpful, caring, and devoted individuals to their profession! Thank God for Dr. Jain at Psychiatric Soln!

I only came in a few times, but it seemed like the clinic was run well. They seemed friendly and willing to help. I doubt I will go back because I havent had any symptoms lately, but I would still recommend them.

This Dr is really very focused. Very focused on money and how to make most of patients. Ofcourse this is challenging time of someone's life and he makes sure he get maximum out of it. Most wonderful part is he talks "only goal of once life should be to serve others and be a good human being." God save people from such condition and such doctors. Only good part with this place is staff. They are really nice people, somehow deep under the heart, I am sure they will also have pain about person for whom they are working.

Though i took appointment with Dr. Jain, all i saw was someone else, and when I told them that I needed a change of medication for my son, they want to see my son again, when nothing has changed. They wanted to charge me again. I just went to a different pediatrician and could get better service with lot less money.

He was seeing my 11 year old son for his ADHA meds. Just went Monday to see the Dr. we got a new Rx so I went to drop it off as I always have before to the pharmacy and seams that the pharmacy had just had a audit. So in order for my sons medication to be filled the Dr had to write, "BRAND NAME ONLY". Well no the Dr. stated he can only do 1 time only and he was going to close my son's chart because he DIDNT WANT TO AND WASNT GOING TO WRITE THAT ON THE RX. He must of forgot I was in his office.

As a psychiatric patient for many years, I have grown to love Dr. Jain and his office staff. They really are wonderful people and I hope that anyone reading this decides to go to their office as well. I guarantee your satisfaction with their professional and caring approach to medicine. I have been using TMS with them for several sessions over the last few years. I would also recommend TMS to those with depression. I would ask Dr. Jain and see if it will help you. I know that they cater to everyone's specific needs.

My initial appointment with this psychiatrist was confusing. He had a medical STUDENT take my history on her own without me seeing him yet. She was not familiar with very common psychiatric medications and it was obvious that she must have been doing her psychiatric portion of med school so was learning about the specialty but was not at all knowledgeable or experienced enough to take a new patient’s history. The process took about an hour and halfway through I gave up trying to be detailed about my history because I knew she had no idea what I was talking about. Finally, in comes Dr. Jain, coffee cup in hand, he introduces himself and says he takes care of his patients “like their family.” He doesn’t mention my history, tells me he has a machine that will fix my brain (TMS) and asks if I have enough medication to last me until next week, answering for me as we leave the office “we’ll take care of that next week at your follow up.” He then turns me over to a member of his office staff to begin TMS treatment. He did not explain the treatment or a treatment plan, if I hadn’t picked up a pamphlet in the waiting area, I’d have not even known what it was. The employee, dressed in plain clothes puts me in the chair and does a 3 min treatment of TMS & I’m done. I read about TMS afterwards and it is something that is done very precisely, placement is tested and must be very precise. It is also done by a physician though I’m sure there are TRAINED technicians who administer it, the sweet office staffer who did mine was not that at all. The office staff was nice enough but I could tell that something wasn’t right there and that even they knew it. This guy is a fraud and I would warn that you stay as far away from him as possible. He accepts ALL insurance and that’s his claim to fame in his pamphlet. He “accepts and fraudulently bills ALL insurance” is what it what it should say.

Taymaz Fazlalizadeh

Just seeing Dr. Jain and his uplifting spirit puts a smile on your face. The first day I met him he had offered TMS treatment and I regret not having started it sooner. With medication and routine TMS sessions I finally feel more like myself again. Dr. Jain is clearly very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience under his belt which really helped put my mind at ease. I would recommend his expertise to anyone seeking psychiatric care.

Mr M

The guy is all about the numbers. He has me come in twice a month and I live and travel in another state, half and half of the time. I decided to look for another Psychiatric doctor. This guy here is Over selling. He seems not to care much about his patients. After he started being unprofessional is when I called it quits. It is not standard practice to have me come in twice a month for refills. I have had Doctors write me 90 day supplies of my Meds. Now if I were receiving counseling or some sort behavioral therapy it would be different. He is not going to get my dollar anymore. Screw that

scott k

DO NOT GO TO DR JAIN. Overcharged me $823 by having me pay one thing and submitting different amount to my insurance company. I had to threaten to report him for insurance fraud before finally getting my refund. Then he sent a letter telling us we couldn't be seen there anymore. AVOID AND FIND SOMEONE WHO CARES MORE ABOUT PEOPLE THAN MONEY

First week I was very hopeful. One week.later I'm worried. I was not told I had an appointment one week later..great to see the doctor so much but it is the office employees responsibility to tell me when I have an appt. I was given a card for an appt. 2 weeks from my initali visit...I assumed the date written on the card was my next appt. Today, no refill, I was told I missed an appointment..one week before the date on the card. I was told I had to drive to Sugar Land to be seen and even as I checked in and asked questions as to how this happened.. I am being treated as if they are doing me a favor to see me. I was hoping for much better treatment.

Him and his entire practice is a complete joke!! Don’t get me wrong, he will smile in your face and smooth talk but he is a complete snake. Find someone else who truly care about you as a patient and does not see you just as numbers or dollars. Thank me later!

Samantha Moore

I called to make an appointment. There was availablity the day of my call. So I asked for that day. She then proceeded to tell me it would be self pay because new patients need to make an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time. 1. I have insurance there's no reason you can't accept it, it's in your network. (That's the point of insurance) 2. The people calling you are people who are having some sort of mental issue and you can't see them for almost a month? How does that help THEM? 3. If I could give 0 stars I would. I didnt even make it into the office and I already disliked the place. Sorry to anyone who does go here. You can do better.

ZERO STARS!!!! This “psychiatrist” is a joke. He is a SNAKE. He commited lies on paper to submit to my husband’s insurance company since they paid him to deny his claim. He didn’t take the proper notes. He made things up- as he probably didn’t remember what was said during the visit. This place is a joke. All they care about is money. He sees multiple people at one time, jumps from room to room, which delays your visit there. I would not recommend anyone to see him. If you care about your well being, please see someone else. He will lie to your face. Front desk was polite but he is a SCAMMER! Liar! Malpractice facility. Don’t take your loved ones there!!!!!! This is not a rant, this is a warning!!! Do not see him. Save yourself.

kra3iebabie .

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT GO TO THIS SPECIALIST. First and ONLY visit was horrific. He's unprofessional, unorganized and is truly in this profession to scam you out of your money and possibly ruin your entire life. He had a student take my information which went unread by him (past/current health history), told the receptionist to charge me $260 for a first consultation BEFORE he even saw me and this was after the student. When I called them out on the outrageous pricing, the price suddenly went down to my normal copay of $60(which was what I confirmed with my insurance prior to booking the appointment). After a glance at my writing that I had been feeling "down" on my questionnaire, he demanded that I be placed in a lockdown facility "or else he would not see me as a patient"....ummm then GOODBYE! Literally wasted two hours sitting in a room for a 4 minute talk with him. A disgrace to the health profession in my opinion. I urge you, if you have any doubts after reading any reviews, DO NOT GO. I read the reviews prior to going and stupidly ignored the negative reviews and it cost me financially and emotionally in a very distressed time.

Dr. Jain is an excellent psychiatrist and doctor. He has provided exceptional service to my sister who is under conservatorship and lives at a board and care. He is very knowledgeable and spent ample time explaining to my sister and I the various side effects and adjustments we could make when my sister is having specific complaints. We would highly recommend him to any prospective patient.

Almost all bad experience reviews about Dr Ashok Jain was experienced by us. Ours was worst because it was traumatizing and I feel compelled to write a review for others. He has students that interviewed my daughter, who is the patient and us the parents for almost 2 hours. The students are very detailed, very professional, very pleasant and non-judgmental. After the interview, they told us that the info will be presented to Dr Jain. The students went in to the next room where we can still see them, while Dr Jain on the other hand is seeing another patient in a room next to ours and I could hear him talk to another patient. Right after Dr Jain spoke to the other patient, he jumped to our room and called the students to our room. The case was NEVER presented to him. He was trying to open the computer to access my daughter's record while interviewing us but he apologized to us and told us their system was down. This basically tells us that he does not know ANY single history of our daughter bec he never spoke to his students either about my daughter's case. We wanted our teenager daughter to reveal everything to this medical provider and trust him since our daughter has had suicide thoughts so we decided that we leave the room and let her speak to him without us. After 2 or 3 mins, we wer called back. Dr Jain yelling at us and saying we are not good parents. My husband and I wer shocked!!! He then prescribed a med for bipolar for my daughter. When i asked him why that kind of medicine , he then became very irritated and felt threatened and feels that we do not have the right to question him. I work in a medical field too, so I know medications and medical practice but did not want to tell him. He then explained irritatingly that he prescribed the med bec my daughter was crying while being interviewed and smiled /laughed after the 2-3 min interview so he thinks my daughter is bipolar. Unbelievable!!! He then encouraged us that my daughter sees their in-house psychologist 3 times a week even if we told him that our daughter sees a psychologist already. We feel that he is not a good fit for our daughter and will never ever ever recommend him as a provider. We are going back to my daughter's psychiatrist even if we have to pay 250-400 per visit for being out of network. He treats patients like he was treating them in an Asian country, where you dont question a doctor and should be treated like God. I am Asian myself so I know. I am sorry but i dont find him a good doctor. I wanted to thank him though because of the experience, now we know who is good psychiatrist and a bad psychiatrist. ---- His Office wall has a white paper posted saying something about a certain insurance (it's either Aetna or BCBS) that due to the insurance's unprofessionalism, their office will charge more. I wonder if this is even legal. -----------

The only reason I went to him was because I had severe side effects of a medication over a weekend while I was fighting depression and anxiety and he was the only one who gave me an appointment within 2 days. The only reason I stayed with him for almost an year and half is because he would only give me medication for 10 days and made sure I visited him every 10 days (Fee is 150$ per visit) just to refill the medication and told me that if I ever miss the medication even for a day, I would experience worsened symptoms. He wanted to make sure I was not abusing the substance and he would know this by looking at my pupil during our visits. But guess what, he hardly ever saw me!! After waiting for an hour, he would just have the receptionist refill the medication. He hardly gave me anytime during our visits, and even during the short time he was available he would never ever listen to what I had to say. He used to brush me off for anything I had to say. The medication he gave me never worked and had expired dates way in the past. When I asked him why he was giving me expired medicine, he said the medicine would be okay even after an year of expiry. He pushed me to go for expensive TMS treatment s at his clinic which unfortunately didnt work in my case but I spent almost 7000$ getting the treatments. He classified mine as treatment resistant depression and put me in a very high dose of Fetzima which made me loose 30Lbs within few months due to GI problems. Though I begged him to change the medication he just said that its a sign of medication working on my brain. If I have to give a review in one sentence, "he is a leech". Give him the impression that you are going to spend a lot of money at his clinic and his behavior towards the patient completely changes. He is very manipulative, impatient, deceptive and got worst bedside manners. I am not sure who qualified him as an MD. I am hoping that this review saves everyone's time, money and health. I finally changed my doctors and my new Psychiatrist changed the medication to a very low dosage of Lexapro and I never felt better.

I personally think that Dr Jain is a very friendly and accommodating individual. He is very professional and cary. His clinic and staff are very welcoming and helpful. I have used TMS there and found it to be very helpful as well. See for yourself!

Dr. Jain's medical students did a good job with the assessment; however, I don't consider this an actual physician's office. You are taken into a room to do an assessment, which is fine but its purpose is less hands on and more of a divide and conquer strategy to maximize the amount of co-pays received daily. (I'll explain later as to why I don't think this is a help as many as you can approach). The student did an excellent job assuring my son that this was a no judgment zone and he'd get the help he needed. Dr. Jain promised to treat my son like his own. A very nice sentiment to endear himself to me and gain my trust. He then tried to use scare tactics and incite fear in me. Fear is a great motivator for parents and it is also a shaming tactic used because who wouldn't do anything for their child and who wouldn't pay for additional services for their child. He berates you and then says he doesn't want your son to die. While my son had suicidal thoughts previously, he has not had them for two months. Dr. Jain insisted I remove all guns from our home even though I assured him any guns in our home are locked up and inaccessible to everyone except my husband. We also lock up all sharp knives and alcohol. We are very proactive in our approach. He said my son was at great risk for shooting himself or hanging himself, but he didn't recommend removing any belts or scarves. He said he didn't want me to find my son blue in the morning. Let's say my son does decide to attempt suicide, what if I do find him dead in his bedroom. I am at his office to get help for my son and he is basically saying if my son dies, it is my fault. This attempt to incite fear is a tactic to scare me so I will do and pay for any recommended service. He recommends in-house therapy but when I explain we'd likely get a recommendation from my daughter's therapist, he wants to know who she sees and the location and tries to sell me on in-house therapy. He also tells me my daughter's therapist is too far from our house. My daughter loves her therapist and can text her between appointments. Why would I give up that type of relationship just so he could get another co-pay for therapy sessions and psychiatric sessions. He recommended the transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for both my son and MY DAUGHTER. His focus should remain on my son, which he tried to convince that he would treat like his own son, instead of trying to treat my daughter as well. She has her own assessment and her own team of doctors. I explained the TMS had been recommended to my daughter in the past for ADHD, so I was familiar with the process and the science behind it. He was very competitive in his response saying he is the only physician who has it covered through insurance. And he estimated how much the out of pocket cost might have been quoted for me in the past. His office does not scream cutting-edge. And while I do think he cares about children, he falls into what a lot physicians fall into...they've been doing it for so long, they don't look at each patient with fresh eyes. It's important to draw from experience but that is all he is drawing from and not treating each patient like an individual. I shudder to think how many parents trust their kids with this kind of recklessness. The final straw for me, was the promise of treating my son like his son but giving us samples. That shows me he readily prescribes what pharmaceutical reps stock him up with. I'd rather know that my son's best interest supersedes what is in stock. This type of experience is what turns people off to mental health services. I felt like I was being sold snake oil.

Wow! Psychiatric solutions has improved my quality of life tremendously! Dr jain is an expert and very professional and caring. I see him every week, but he is very willing to work with patients and cater to their specific needs. I strongly suggest that you see him for any mental health issue. When I was in a world of pain, Dr jain brought me back to life! Praise God for him!

Please do your research before coming to this practice. This doctor has absolutely no consideration, remorse, or value for his patients. I came in as a new patient waited over and hour because they only operated with 1 room, seeing that they had 3 room is a bit odd. Furthermore, this doctor is a JOKE. He has his staff so trained like puppets all they do is beg for your copay/coinsur. and he speaks to you for about 10 minutes and walks out. This is all an act for him to collect money. Also he will FORCE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY to have the Transranial Magnetic System and doesn’t even know if it is covered by insurance. He is doing some dirty work and I will not stand for this. I will be reporting him to BBB. We’re coming to your practice to seek help, yet you’re the one who’s screwing us all. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I have had many difficulties and struggles in my life. Sometimes I wonder, why has God dealt me this hand? All of my life I have had my illness, but thankfully for Dr. Jain, I have found a light in the darkness. I finally found solace at Psychiatric Solutions in their knowledgeable treatment plans and their heartwarming determination to make patients feel better . Dr. Jain and his staff have catered to my every need. I almost feel as if I have taken advantage of them because they have really been so good to me! This is a psychiatrists office that treats not only disease, but treats the patients with the disease. It is so rare to find a physicians that care about patients and care about people because medicine has become capitalistic and goal-driven. I am so thankful to have met such great people that have shaped my life forever.

Dan Morrison

In a perfect world, all doctors and psychiatrists would be able to handle difficult cases and severely ill patients, but that is not the case. Here at psychiatric solutions, Dr. Jain, the clinical psychologists, and nurse practitioners meet patient outcomes that are superior to those of other practices. Many psychiatrists do not administer TMS, which is a type of magnet that is applied to a patient's scalp to deliver stimulation to areas of the brain associated with depression and other forms of cognitive behavioral disorders. Also, there are a number of different medications on the market. Many psychiatrists will try to push the newest and most expensive medication to their patients. Dr. Jain does not. At psychiatric solutions, the quality of care is exceptional. I strongly suggest you see Dr. Jain for any mental illness, whether it is dementia, depression, anxiety, bipolar, or Premenopausal dysphoric disorder among others.

Abraham Valdes

Great staff. Dr. Jain is a very caring individual.

Everytime I call, the front desk scheduler always rushes you off the phone, does not seem to care, very unfriendly. I called to schedule an appointment for my mother, she didn’t have an exact appointment time. She said to come and we’ll wait to be seen. She didn’t check insurance, doesn’t know if Magnetic Therapy is covered under insurance. I felt that she didn’t want to take the time to schedule. I believe if your working at a Behavioral Center, you need to learn patience because you never know what a person is going through. Please re-train your staff on phone etiquette and customer service courtesy.

Johnathan Stewart

Every week I do TMS, which I took a photo of for you to see. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation has completely changed my life around! I recommend it to anyone with mental illness. Be sure to ask Dr. Jain when you see him if you decide to (hopefully!!). They basically put a magnet on your brain and it treats depression and other mental illness. I have finally been able to live my life again thanks to Dr. Jain and TMS!!! Boo YA!
