The people are so kind and just want to make you comfortable and happy. I feel super safe when I talk to them. I’ve never experienced that before and I seriously would recommend anyone to this fantastic group of people!!!

This clinic was highly recommended Great things were said about Dr. Gregg, the doctors, and therapist at Connections! Today, I had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman by the name of Kenneth at a different clinic in Carrollton. My daughter in law was in dire need of help. I honestly thought he was the psychologist at first, but later informing me that he's not a therapist. He spoke very highly of everyone else around him, but he himself was extremely knowledgeable in the field psychiatry, and very philosophical. He is the true meaning of brains and brawn. The guy is built like a Dallas Cowboys linebacker, but with the brains of a scholar, and a genuinely caring heart of Saint. Ken's philosophy of healing by exploring one lifestyle along with their thoughts, emotions and patterns of behavior to expand personal awareness of self defeating behavior and improve self care, self esteem, and relationships was mind blowing. Im hoping to find my daughter in law an outpatient provider, while searching online, I found this site and while browsing through found the same smile that greeted us when we first walked in today. This seems to be a first class clinic with the Owner Dr. Gregg being highly established in the community. I'm currently trying to figure out how schedule an appointment right now!

I brought my kids in over a week ago to get there prescriptions before school starts tomorrow. I thought everything was great, until I get a call from the pharmacy saying the doctors prescription pad was expired. I was told by the office they would call the pharmacy and take care of it. Didn’t get a call back. Called the office the next day and was told it was on the doctors desk to be done. 5 days later no call nothing. I drive all the way to the office to be told that they don't have them ready because the doctors new prescription pads are in the mail. So now my kids have to start school without their medications! And of course there is no where else I can take them to get these medications prescribed because it takes a month to get into these places!!! Very disappointed! How can you let a prescription pad expire if you are the only person who can write prescriptions??!!

When i told Jai i needed a primary doctor she physically walked me across the parking lot to their primary care office. Dr Tucker is no lie, no exaggeration the best dr I've seen hands down! This goes for all of my specialists and primary drs that I see. I have many "illnesses" and drs as well as hospitals that I see normally. I have NEVER been treated with so much compassion, understanding, complete full attention and especially someone who truly wants to help as this man. If I could somehow magically make his profession to meet all of the other drs professions, I would ONLY see him. Yes it gets busy in the office...sometimes there is a wait but I promise if you are seeing Dr. Tucker it is worth the wait. I can not speak to the rest of the psychiatrist there but everyone seems very friendly including front desk. Dr. Tucker, I can only hope you see or hear of this review. You are amazing and have completely given me what I've needed. A non judgmental ear. I could never thank you enough.

I was completely impressed with this business. I can not say enough about Ms. Jaylia Rentfro. If you are not sure about whether to choose to seek out some counseling for any reason, she will make you glad you did. Within five minutes of meeting Jaylia, I knew I had made the right choice. Her office is light and inviting and so is the lady. I believe she will be a blessing in your life. We can all use some of those.

Called over a week ago regarding an unauthorized debit from my checking account. Asked for an explanation because at my appointment I gave them permission to collect a balance due on my account plus my co-pay. 3 weeks after my appointment I was surprised to have the same amount debited without my consent/knowledge. I was told told when I called the insurance department would be issuing me a refund. Still haven't received my refund.

**WARNING** This is the absolute WORST mental health care you can get in Denton, TX. The front desk staff is awful and have no customer service skills. The head psychiatrist at this location is DISRESPECTFUL, JUDGEMENTAL, and INSANELY UNPROFESSIONAL. He was texting during the appointment! He assumed significant health problems because of weight, he laughed at name preference and assumed pronouns. He even assumed we were coming in for trans therapy definitely not an LGBTQ+ friendly practice. This isn't a people friendly place. Not to mention blatant disregard of privacy! We walked in and heard a patient's private health care and prescriptions being discussed in the waiting room!

Upon calling them to provide information before my upcoming appointment, I encountered something unusual. The phone repeatedly rang to an unknown man’s personal voicemail. I cautiously left a message, but with no response I decided to try from a different phone and finally received an answer. They informed me the voicemail was one of the business owners and that he sometimes forwards the messages. That raises privacy and HIPPA guideline concerns. The actual appointment with Dr. Tucker arrived and I was pleased by our interactions. He said he needed to see me back in 2 weeks, but did not attempt to schedule this appointment, nor did his front desk try to schedule it. I had to ask them myself. At 10am on the 17th, (day of follow-up) they leave me a voicemail and say Dr. Tucker had a family emergency with no return date known. I return their call and my only option is to see a nurse practitioner (Jai) on the 19th, so I accept. My appointment on July 19th begins and the nurse practitioner is kind. But upon telling her about breathing issues related to my new medication, she explained that the doctor “did not leave a plan” on how to proceed, so she told me to continue taking benzos. This roughly 5 minute appointment cost $50. With no booking procedure, I left the office without an appointment. I called to make a new one with the doctor and They tell me the doctor is available AUGUST 16TH: TWO MONTHS in between seeing him. I email the practice and get a reply saying I can see the nurse practitioner again instead, but this time on July 29th. I arrive at 1:56pm for my 2pm appointment and she doesn't come out for 30 minutes.When someone finally comes to get me, another patient stands up and says it is her time, then angrily asks me when my appointment is. The staff makes no effort to provide professionalism, standing and staring blankly. We confirm my turn but Jai says she doesn’t have my chart and goes searching in the front, with the doctor, and in the back of the office with no results. She returns and says they can’t find it, but grabs a piece of paper like it is not an issue. I thankfully brought my own copy of medications and share it with her, with which she decides to put me back on a prior medicine. I notice that she is not aware at this point that I am already on another medication and tell her. This mistake on her part (from not having my chart) could have caused Serotonin Syndrome (can be fatal).This appointment lasted roughly 10 minutes and again was $50. This same day, I post a review on Google about the disorganization and lack of appointment procedures I had experienced. Jai, the nurse practitioner, calls me to get it taken down. She asks what I didn’t understand about the situation and informed me my post was “wrong.” She tells me their new company doesn’t want bad reviews, so I explain to her my issues such as the intermittently staffed desk, the lost files, and me having to try multiple ways on my own to get seen by anyone. She tells me they didn’t lose the file, they just hadn’t brought it up from the computer - this does not fix the fact she didn’t have my file and arrived very late so that I was late returning to work. I also tell her my concerns regarding her not reacting to my complaints of adverse effects from my new medications at my first appointment with her. She responds that her role is to take feedback from patients and give it to the doctor - if that’s the case, why was I charged for a full appointment if it was just information gathering instead of treatment? Why let me have poor side effects going untreated? She claimed she wasn’t aware that I had to reach out to get a second appointment with her. (Photo attached of her call to me).They somehow have a sterling and bold online reputation for a new, small office. Yet they claim they don’t ask for reviews (they just ask for the bad ones to get removed apparently). Their paperwork is missing dates and information, too. Everyone here with an MD should be ashamed; Clients seeking mental healthcare deserve better.

The absolute worst in every single way. From financing, scheduling appointments, prescription refills, keeping their records straight, mixing up patients. They never bill correctly, they mess up on printing receipts, always the wrong amount that was paid. Dr. Tucker over books himself, runs late, cancels appointments several times, refuses to refill prescriptions in a timely manner. Makes you follow up bi-monthly instead of every 3 months even when medications have been steady for years. No one ever knows what they are doing in the business office. Co pay is always different, they cancel appointments when we dont cancel then then book appointments we never schedule, dr. Tucker always seems to get double books and we always get kicked out of our appointment because new clients are priority. We finally switched to the nurse practitioner who was great, but she wrote the prescription wrong and had to go back to get one written on the correct paper, now a month later we have called every day this week to be able to pick up prescription refill at Thursday therapy appointment, they never followed up when they said they would. Went to appointment for therapy, surprise surprise no prescription. Now they say we havent been seen since January, but we were there last month and have paid... why else did we have to drive back to get last months prescription written on the correct type of paper. Absolutely worse, my 14 year old goes through withdrawals off her medication every 5 weeks because of their negligence from Dr. Tucker and now the nurse practitioner not keeping appropriate records. Corrie is the only reason we continue to even associate with this business, my daughter has a great connection with her and has made progress in therapy with her. But if billing, scheduling, and record keeping doeant get fixed we might have to stop with her also. We will not return to Dr. David Tucker's incompetence or overscheduling.
