I have been going to Dr. Atkinsson for approximately 10 years now and can't imagine going to anyone else. She has helped me through so much! She is very understanding and knowledgeable on what medications are beneficial to each patient. Dr. Atkinsson is personal, friendly, comfortable and overall a pleasure to be around.

I can’t imagine a better doctor. She is extradinarily knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional while still caring about her patients. She will work when she isn’t supposed to be working to accomdate your schedule/crisis, and she always follows up to see how you’re doing. I feel calm in her presence; she really listens to my concerns about prescriptions and whatnot, and either works with/around the concerns or effectively soothes the anxiety causing the concerns. It is always a humbling experience speaking with her, as she is absurdly smart and experienced and gives spot-on diagnoses and treatment. Overall incredible doctor/woman. Her office staff is also A+, SO sweet. It’s always a pleasure talking to anyone that works in the office. 100000/5 stars, what did we do to deserve this angel woman? She must be a gracious gift from above. :-)

Unbelievably inappropriate, spoke to me as an adolescent in a very condescending tone and prescribed multiple medications that deteriorated my mental health worse. Also spoke with my parents most of the appointment only seeing me for 1-2 minutes and failing to see a potentially abusive situation and telling me that she saw my future being in a state prison. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend

Mental issues should be taken very seriously and there is no one who takes it more seriously than this doctor. I completely trust her and her judgement and she has shown through her thoughtful explanations that she does not rush through anything and thouroughly looks out me. Dr A goes above and beyond to ensure great patient care and is someone who I believe is truly a blessing. She has made my life exponentially better and I would recommend her to everyone. The office staff matches her charm equally and take the time to know the patients rather than just having them be part of the day. Every experience is one worth having each time I go.
