While Dr. Islam is a good doctor, the majority of what makes up a patient experience is the service from the office staff. The office staff has been very rude and indifferent to me on several occasions when trying to make an appointment. They refused to call in a partial prescription when my daughter ran out of medication before they could get her in for an appointment, and the person I spoke to was curt and rude when I requested what I believe to be a normal request, to have a partial medication refill until the dr. had availability to see her. Update: Upon making a complaint through their website, Dr. Islam called me to personally apologize and take responsibility. He told me that he would be addressing the rudeness of the staff and emphasized that it was unacceptable. While I have now chosen a new provider for my daughter, I appreciate his responsiveness.

Will schedule you for days they're closed, you wait for hours to be seen then spend 15 minutes talking, they want almost $100 per visit. Only upside is they do accept most insurances.

I saw Dr Islam on Monday March 1st of 2018. I was taking Ambien 10mg, we both made the decision to change it to 12.5 mg CR ( slow release) I stared calling the office on the March 3rd, to go back to my original Ambien. The staff is so incompetent, they were making suggestions to me and said he would call me. They even told me they were calling it in after 1 1/2 wks of no sleep and exhaustion. I drove 45 min to pick up prescription and NOTHING!!! I called back to one of the many 18 yr old girls at the desk, they said I needed another apt. this was not a change it was only going back to my original. They are so unprofessional and ridiculous. I feel they just want you to come in for the money. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, A DEPRESSED PERSON HAS NOT SLEPT IN TWO WKS AND THEY DONT CARE!!!!

I've been a patient of Islams for a while. He really pays attention to you when you explain your issues. (To correct your emotional wellbeing medications) I personally think he is very intelligent and helps people. It's a hard job. Thanks for putting up with me ......

Have been seeing Dr Islam and associates of his now for the past 6yrs or so. Have always been treated with utmost respect. As long as you are willing to put in the work requested by them outside of your appointments they are more than willing to help you get the help that you need.

I have been coming here and brining my kids here for 3 years. Everyone complains about wait times but I have never really had that issue. I have seen Anita, DR.Islam and ruby. They are awesome. They really listen and help you. I’m so glad I found this place. And to not have insurance it’s not that expensive.

Physicians are good at their job. However they do not respect your time. The waiting has grown from 20 minutes to over an hour each time I visit. This has been going on for 2 years. I have private insurance so I will be finding a different practice.

I don't know what everyone else is talking about, but I have been treated with nothing but respect from the staff and Dr. Islam! I am fully disabled, with a service dog and never once have I experienced any problems! He was quick to write me a nice prescriptions Based on my integrity that I would not abuse. I appreciate this office, the Denton location as well as the Louisville location. I have not ever been to a better doctors, and I have gone to at least 75he listens to me, and does not make me feel rejected or judged. Nor does he interrupted me. I would definitely recommend him.

Been coming here for years and always paid my bills, and just recently I ran into a little bit of financial trouble and am only one doctor's visit in rears. Not only did they not refill the third wave in my prescription cycle, they told me that I have to immediately come back in for another appointment and pay what I owe up front plus the new appointment up front to get my medication which is a medication for narcolepsy's sister, ADHD. I have to operate machinery and to do so must be fully awake, and so they are taking away my ability to work within the guidelines of safe on the job capabilities. I recently tore my cornea and had to pay for a hospital visit so I could continue having sight, but i guess that its more important for doctor islam to have his 164 dollars I owe SOOO BADLY. He must be hurting if hes taking a 4 year paitient and throwing them out in the cold over one missed payment.

Very judgemental can't get the help i need nice girls in the front office though but if u need help and your work life depends on it dont go unless u want to be miss diagnosed my reviews keep getting deleted don't trust these more people have my same situation the just delete the comments

Dr. Islam is great, but the wait times here have always been long for me regardless of the day or time. Written while in the waiting room, 32 minutes after when my appointment was supposed to start. Update 2: after 53 minutes, I was seen.
