I was just updating for some information about this facility, and was shocked to see the reviews. I found this place to be of some help. I took in all the info. and advice I could. The cafeteria food was very decent I thought. our course breakfast and lunch was better than dinner, but no complaints there. This gave me a start in the right place. That's my opinion.

I would literally shoot myself before going to this Funny Farm again. It’s an absolute patient/insurance billing mill. Some fun drugs on the menu though. Got a few degrees from here with a concentration in the following majors: Overly Medicated with Compassion, Inhospitality and Prison Food, Medical Malpractice and Corporate Healthcare Ethics. Tristar Health (corporate) is part of Satan’s retirement portfolio.

Jermaine is the best tech in nashville. He genuinely cares for each and every patient.

This was NOT what I expected, but the oil paintings and bronze doors were fabulous. Not much in the way of museum history or as an educational experience, but the quality and exhibition of the oil paintings was delightful. The Athena statute was dusty and unkempt. It looked like it hadn’t been maintained in several years. Cobwebs were under the breasts of several statues which became a running joke with the younger kids. It’s only $6 adult admission, so it’s a nice curiosity to add to your day. The park is very pretty, but could use some updating to improve the gardens. It’s looks heavily used, and very popular with dogs.

Person on phone is horrible to talk to! Shouldn’t be working in the health field if going to talk to people bad when they have simple questions and sucidial!

First off they lied to my husband and I when he went in. They told us how they were going to handle his situation, then they went about it a totally different way. He signed himself out b/c the doctors up there only want to generalize everyone together. Not everyone needs the same thing to handle their vices. After leaving under an A.M.A. b/c he was not at all satisfied with their sud-standard care, We found out that they called our insurance company and filled them up on information that was not true. This place is only out for money. They do not care to get to the bottom of the problem. They only care to turn people into zombies. If my husband needs any additional help..... We'll go to Vanderbilt.

This place is absolute garbage. My mother has alzhiemers and dementia and ended up in the mental facility here and I am her care giver and her POA and she has been there 3 weeks and these people will not tell me a single thing going on and refuse to call back. My wife went there to find out what was going on and they said they fired the social worker over her and would get in touch with us and a week later still nothing.

One of my favorite places in Nashville-the museum is wonderful seeing all the artwork and the statue the way the light hits is so beautiful. A walk around the lake and stop in the gardens- what an enchanting place to go visit!

Brandon Hewitt

There is hardly any wait time and parking is great. The nurses are always very sweet and patient. I wont go to any other hospital. I've received better care here than at Saint thomas and Vanderbilt.

Bailey Carroll

I wouldn’t send my fish here. Awful care and the nurses don’t care about the wellbeing of patients. If you care about someone do NOT put them here.

Deborah McConnel

Nothing is perfect but it is the best facility I have been associated with.

Most inconsiderate place in middle Tennessee. I honestly wouldnt take my pet rat there. Front desk staff during visiting hours are worthless and should not be employed in this position. If i could give 0 stars i would give it this rating.

I have been there so many times I've lost count. They have Always treated me with the respect a psych patient needs. I have had to switch doctors once or twice because he was not as concerned as he should be for my Overall health once I leave the hospital. I think it's the best one there is with Rolling Hills coming in a very close second. Thank you to ALL employees of parthenon pavilion !!!

I'm in er room pending transportation to mtmh. This is by far the worse hospital I've even been to. Nurse April in the emergency room isnt worth 2 cents. Very rude, ignorance towards people and there well being. I presees the call button 3 times and waited oved 4 hours just for her to get mad and take my remote so I couldn't call the desk or watch TV. What a POS I actually had to call my own doctor cause the hospital staff would not give me my non narcotic medication. What a joke. I plan on writing on nurse april for as long as I can and anywhere I can. Craigslist next. I'd like to ad the security guard was very helpful and kind. He went out of his way to help.

Sandra Bridges

The employees at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I appreciated being greeted by a considerate, smiling face during a stressful time. Thank you, Ladies.

this is a horrible place to be a patient, look for a different hospital.

Jeff Brooks

This place has been more helpful than any place I have been... The classes sick and not helpful unless you have drug or alcohol problem.

This is the most unprofessional facility that I have ever saw. I am a health care provider myself and recently one of my family members was there to seek care for a new diagnosis of depression. No one follows through with communicating with family. All the patients are in areas together and mine was in with a dementia patient who should have never been with my depressed family member. It made the depression much worse and when trying to facilitate discharge to seek another facility, a supervisor named Theresa Wehman was extremely unprofessional and even derogatory to our family. Much more depressed when we finally arranged discharge. Go to Vanderbuilt for psychiatric care. We are reporting Theresa Wehman into the state. Several other patients families are meeting and will be turning this person in as well. Unprofessional conduct.

If I could give negative stars I would. I had a loved one that had to stay here and it was a complete nightmare. DO NOT TAKE SOMEONE HERE. I have never left a review for a business but people need to be warned about this place.

These people are out for nothing but money. If you know anyone here, GET THEM OUT NOW, THEY ARE IN DANGER!!! They CLAIM they care but they don't at all. They generalize everyone and treat you like a prisoner no matter what. I was there for a brief time surrounded by drug addicts and other dangerous people after spending my entire adult life trying to get away from those kind of people, they forced me back to them! My situation was made worse until I found an ACTUAL DOCTOR THAT CARES who was able to help me get my life turned around and moving in the right direction. You are treated like a criminal no matter the situation and you can't leave even if you're fine because they want your money, that's it. Absolutely deplorable staff that are little more than bullies in many instances. Not only that, but they LIE ON OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION!! This place should be shut down and the people being conned by them should be given ACTUAL help.

I was at this care facility almost three years ago but I want you to know that not only did you worsen my depression but also invalidated me. I put a gun in my mouth with the intent to pull the trigger. One of your "doctors" who come by to check off a sheet for how the patient is doing treated me as if I were a dramatic child. I was 24 and he looked me in the eye after finding about the gun and said "you know that kills people, right?" I have never been so humiliated and hurt in my life. I am diagnosed with PTSD and BPD as well as chronic depression and your doctor made me feel as if I were a burden. Your center has ruined inpatient care for me permanently. I will never again subject myself to that sort of situation. I was devastated and scared to seek further care. I was far worse exiting your facility than I was going in. To this day, three years later, I still struggle with the way your "doctor" treated me as if I were nothing more than a dramatic young woman seeking attention and wasting his time. I hope you have improved and never, ever, treat another aching patient as if they are a burden and a stain on the system. Your lack of invested care could have killed me.

Carol Prince

I am very impressed with the care I got from The Parthenon. The nurses were great. I felt that they gave me the treatment and care that I needed. And the food is good too.
