While I'm sure there are probably great things that go on here from time to time, if your expectations are this will be a professionally run facility you may be extremely disappointed. After checking in the individual we were assisting, we were told that while we could call at anytime there were no provisions for visitation. That should have been a huge red flag Later that day, we were told our patient would be transferred to another inpatient facility because he requested a private room. That sounded like a reasonable request that the facility could not fill. After a couple of hours we were told they were just waiting on transportation which would be soon. We offered to transport the patient ourselves since he had came there voluntarily but were told that was not possible as he had not been seen by a physician yet and released. We called back a few times until early evening when we were told he would be transported by the night transportation team. When I asked about a time frame, etc., I was told that just wasnt possible with Nashville traffic. I pressed further as our expectations this would have already occurred and even the busiest of transportation services have some type of schedule. I was rudely more or less told 'too bad...its just the way it is'. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor, 'Michael', sounded like anything but. Based on his flippant responses and mannerisms I was pretty sure he was just a colleague or someone pretending to be a supervisor. When I asked if the transfer would occur anytime between then and midnight he told me it would be between 7 and 10 pm. Michael also made a snide remark about the private room request, stating 'Just wait until he gets to the hospital...he sure wont get a private room there'. As of 11:30 pm no transport was done and our patient had not seen a doctor. As of the next day, no transfer had occurred and no doctor seen. He was eventually transported around lunchtime. If you have very low expectations, this place may suit your needs. Otherwise, I would suggest going directly to a professionally run medical facility.
