Three Rivers is a little worn down compared to the other 2 places my teen has been to but I will say this place they make these kids work their program and hold the accountable when they make bad decisions and make them re-earn their level. All of the other facilities just used their time as a holding place until the insurance boots the out. Remember no one can make change it begins with our children they can only pave the way.

Our family member spent a week at this facility. I can honestly say that the employees of this establishment are not impressive, and offer little care or compassion. Further, they do not communicate *I get hippa laws, but many questions are generally about disorders and don't have to be client specific. Our family member left with no instructions to the family about how to proceed going forward, so no help had by any of us I was absolutely not impressed, and professional care should come with much higher standards. I know they could do significantly better if their goals were honestly patients and their care and wellbeing.

I don't recommend this place. Both my niece and nephew spent time there. My niece started cutting immediately after getting out. She'd never done that before. She cut her arms from wrist to shoulder with a razor. Her entire demeanor was different. It took her a while to come back to herself. Mary was kind as well as a few other staff. However, the overall "care" was just letting the kids wander around. It was weird that they'd bring in fast food and tell the kids stuff like, "You can get some when you're out." It's not a kind and caring environment. The kids there have issues and deserved to be treated kindly. My niece was traumatized watching her friend cry in pain from restraints. On our end, we couldn't get information about the kids easily. The rules changed depending on who answered the phone. Many of the staff tended to be rude. If our kids ever need this kind of help again, we will NOT be using this facility.

I’ve been here it was completely a mess the staff weren’t trying to help you they were trying to get you mad yeah ik taking it from a kid it’s not very i don’t know eligible right but I lived there for 7 months they literally tortured me I couldn’t find a way to keep peace yeah a couple staff were great but literally everyone else was just trying to make that money and get out of there none of them cared about us and omg don’t even get me started on the doctors and counselors they just made so many remarks on how stupid we were and when our parents came around they tried to make it seem like we did everything bad they put us on and off medicines on new ones on old ones we don’t need them we just need freedom friends a life even a hand at the end of it all I don’t recommend you bring your kid there it’s not worth it

It has been my experience that communication is not great. You call on Monday and they don’t call back until the following Monday. They say you can see your child wherever not true it’s on their terms. You can forget talking to anyone after 5 or weekends.

I use to go here as a kid . I was no other 14 , now I'm 23 BUT this is how the staff talk to the people the so called supposed to help . Nothing is Confidentiality

I was living here for four months. This place was a complete disaster from the first day I got there. The staff loved to eat fast food infront of the residents and taunt them about not being able to eat it. Many staff picked favorites and I was never a favorite. They're restraints were too hard and it the staff didn't like you, you had a higher possibility of getting restrained. One kid I met had tried to fight a restraint (as kids with behavoiral issues do) and the restraint was so hard that the kid had his arm broken. The staff know where the cameras are and abuse it. They know they can't be seen in the doorways and they know the cameras don't have audio. Their system is impossible if you have genuine issues and if you self-harm, no one bothers to help you. You are punished over and over. Please do not send your kids here. New Hope and (if you have a younger child, 12 or under) the long-term Marshall I. Pickens. Three Rivers Midlands is physically and mentally abusive.
