So, the doctor who only comes in once a week cancelled my girlfriends appointment which is no big deal. However, she failed to write her new prescriptions for the medicine she has been prescribing her once a month for the past 9 months. When my girlfriend called in that Friday to see why the prescription had not been written, the front desk lady said it would be taken care of ASAP and that she would call back to confirm that day. She never called back. When my girlfriend called in Monday the front desk lady did not know why the prescription was not written, and said she would take care of it ASAP, and that she would call back to confirm that day. She never called back. My girlfriend then called again and left a voice mail, and no one called back. When my girl friend called two times and the SAME front desk lady picked up the second time on Wednesday she told my girlfriend she had no recollection of the problem of the prescriptions not being written. But would take care of it and call her back when they were written. She never called back. The same thing happened Thursday. Then on Friday my girlfriend called again, and the SAME FRONT DESK LADY picked up and said she would get them filled by noon that day, and someone could come and pick them up, and if they were filled earlier she would call. Well she never called, but I went in to pick them up at 12:20pm and she acted like she was so surprised to see someone. She went on to tell me that the prescriptions were not ready and that she told us she would call us when they were. Well the office closes at 1pm on Friday so I told her I would wait till they were ready. She then told me to leave because that would be a waste of time. Then I asked if I could speak to a doctor. She said yes went to the back then came back 5 minutes later telling me that the prescriptions would be right up. She then left work!!! Right in front of me. She was never going to fill the prescriptions even after a week of daily contact with her. These medications are vital to the health of the person I love the most. They have to be picked up in person and not called into the pharmacy. She went over a week without them because of someones incompetence, laziness, and apathy towards their job. If this was the front desk lady's fault, which I believe it must be considering how she told my girlfriend she had no idea what she was talking about after several days of communication, she should be reevaluated for her job.
