This Psychiatrist is an expert in complex Family Issues and Is amazing with Children. He is very thoughtful and Understands how to treat both Neurological psychological and emotional problems. My children were amazed by him. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone who is seeking real support.

I can't speak more highly about a Dr. Fermo. He is understanding, compassionate and really cares about what's going on in your life. He engages with you and makes you feel comfortable and more likely to open up. I've seen several psychiatrists in my day but he's hands down the best. I even drive almost three hours to go see him!

Dr. Fermo appears to be extremely knowledgeable, however that all of the knowledge in the world does not make up for his lack of caring and the thoughtlessness and inconsideration of his office. There have been two separate occasions I have not been able to reach his office for weeks. Use the MUSC - Comprehensive Psychiatric Care Specialists for knowledgable, caring and responsive psychiatric care.

Poor excuse for a doctor. When asked for records for my son, he flat out refused to release them even though I am legally entitled to all records according to my divorce decree. Was told he could write a "summary" of the records, and was never even given that. Stay away from this shady doctor. I can't imagine what he's telling his patients if he won't even give records to those who are legally allowed to have them.

Love Dr. Fermo, he is very easy to talk to and I love how he explains to me how real and hard it is to be diagnosed with ADD!! I never felt so comfortable to talk about absolutely anything to any other doctor, like Dr. Fermo (besides my own family physician; Dr. David Rodriguez)!! I agree 100% with the first person who rated Dr. Fermo, I would give him 10 stars if I could!! I'm from Lake City, SC, about 30 minutes from Florence and its totally worth driving 2 hours to see Dr. Fermo! Awesome doctor!!
