REVIEWS OF Dr. Dwivedi Tarunendu, MD IN South Carolina

Jamie Reap

He is absolutely horible with children! They say they gear towards children with special needs but that is not true. He only wants to over medicate children. He is more concerned with looking at his computer screen and talking in to his recorder. A big waste of money.

Beth Muse

Great staff. Doctor sometimes a little lost in his computer, but otherwise a very good doc. Listens well and advises well.

Kahala K Grier

Dr. Dwivedi is a great Doctor with a great staff!

Natalie Childs

Always have to wait nearly an hour after my appointment is scheduled. Very insensitive and side tracked to the issue of the patient.

Lauren Mikell

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!! Dr Dwevidi contradicted me in front of my daughter, made her then leave room to tell me it was my fault and I should be a better parent. Refused to keep her on meds that worked, put her on new ones. Then tells me the therapist there work for themselves, call them directly for appointment. She never returned call for two months until I contacted the office raising a little cain. Then I became under attack because I wanted explanations. So in short, don't go here, they worry about profit, not helping the child.

The staff at the front desk was very kind, I want to make that point before I continue. Now on to the unfortunate expierience. The one with the Doctor! Our experience with Dr. Dwivedi, was the strangest I have ever had with a professional in the medical field. He diagnosed my son and prescribed him medications without even speaking to him directly. When I said I wasn’t there for medication, but for alternative solutions, he told me my son would be kicked out of school without the medication he was prescribing. My son was 5 and preschool! Uummm, what? He was not qualified in anyway to determine if my son would be asked to leave school. He had no affiliation with the school district that I know of! And, when I asked why he was prescribing medication without even trying to engage with him first, he got defensive and short with me. We Since have had a qualified pediatrician in Ballantyne re-evaluate our son for ADHD, and have gotten so many more answers about his partciaulr struggles with hyperactivity through thourogh research. Not just by watching him jump around a room for 5-10 minutes.... Our family feels confident his new doctor takes the time to learn about our sons individual needs, unlike the expierience we had at this practice. I hate writing negative reviews, yet this was many months ago, and it still bothers me so much that I felt compelled to write a honest review for other parents to consider.

Was referred here by my 4 year old granddaughter'so pediatrician for diagnosis of ADHD. Was told he would be able to offer options that she didn't have. He nev er once even spoke to her or ask any questions in regard to our concerns or what problems we had with her . He offered clonyndine as treatment which we refused because it was going to keep her asleep more than awake. Said their were no other alternatives. Started talking into dicta phone and we left. Very rude. What a quack!

This is ridiculous. I work for Atrium Health and treating a mutual patient. I have been requesting records from this office for a month now. I keep calling the office I leave voicemails no one has returned my call. Very Very unprofessional. I would NOT recommend anyone to come to this practice. I wouldn't give a star but you can't post without at least one.

At my first visit when I was 16, he refused to even look at me and only talked to my mom for an hour after which he prescribed 4 meds (ADD, antipsychotic, antidepressant, anxiety). I hated them and asked him to change them several times over the next 1.5 years and he refused. He only saw me once every 3 months. His staff was friendly but apparently ineffective as my mental state worsened during my time there. After I left, I got to see his records for me (RoseMary) and there were whole paragraphs that referred to me as "he/him/his". The entire report was copy pasted from appt. to appt. I borderline want to sue for what he did to me but I'm only 17. Who would take me seriously.

Robyn Starnes

Dr. Dwivedi is the rudest Dr. I have ever came across. The staff are amazing but that Dr is so rude and I refuse to take my Son there again. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!

Brittany Rhinehart

Terrible doctor wouldn’t recommend him to anyone, the staff is rude as well!

Dina Vacho

Never spoke to my child that was having issues just increase meds. Like talking to a tree but a tree that deals out drugs not compassion.

Renee Sharpe

Seen this Dr when I was 16 and suicidal. Came back to him to explain what was going on in my life at 26 while my mother was dying of breast cancer. He told me there wasn't anything wrong with me I was just fixiated on getting disablity. HAHA then only sends in the file from 2015 but not why I originally came to him. They don't accept adult patients. how the hell was something wrong with me then at 16 when you prescribed me prozac after a suicidal attempt. these doctors just want to get rich they dont care about the blacks they only care about WHITE people.

Quiet Artist

This office is run by a very efficient staff. I did not have a positive experience with the Dr. The Dr. displays many diplomas and many credentials and yet he lacks empathy and emotion. His approach is bizarre and disconcerting. He did not greet us, treated my son ( autism diagnosis) with disdain and summarily dismissed us, he did not make eye contact when questioning me, and he interrupted me to speak into a dictaphone. He also spoke about my son as if he (my son) didn't speak English or understand what he was saying, or more accurately, as if my son was not in the room.
