This has got to be one of the worst and most unprofessional offices I have ever stepped foot in. Looks can certainly be deceiving, that's for sure. I brought my elderly father and we waited for OVER an hour and a half. I made sure that we were not only on time but a few minutes early so we would not be waiting long. My father is in his 80s and not in good health. From the moment we checked in, I would consider the experience to be poor. The girl at the front desk had no personality at all. I felt as though I was speaking to a rude robot. That certainly does not give off the impression that you can call when there's a problem or when you have a question without getting someone on the other end of the phone with a poor attitude that thinks you are nothing but a waste of their time. After waiting about an hour, I went to the desk to ask how much longer it would be because my father was not feeling well, the same staff member was extremely rude and no help at all, she basically told me there's nothing she can do and we would just have to wait...even though there were patients that came in AFTER my father and I, that had already gone in before us. So I asked to speak to the manager...and well, I can certainly say that I had to bite my tongue to keep from speaking my mind to this very rude, very entitled woman. Right off the bat she came out of her office and stood before me with her arms crossed and asked "whats the problem?" No introduction, no hand shake..nothing!! She was extremely rude saying that we should just expect to wait that long when we go there. She offered to reschedule my fathers appointment!! WE HAD BEEN THERE OVER AN HOUR ALREADY! and when I relayed my frustration to her she said "Bring your father somewhere else if you don't like it, we would be happy to send over any and all of his medical records" I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. She acted as though she was trying to do us a favor offering to send his medical records to another office! She was also no help, what so ever. If anything, she made the experience worse with her eye rolling, extremely rude comments and the office door slam in my face really put the cherry on top. We waited so long my father ended up having an accident in his pants. He was extremely embarrassed and I was so angry. These people have no respect for their patients. They should not be scheduling their daily calendar that way if it causes their patients to wait over an hour. Then Dr. Solberg only saw my father for 5.5 minutes. I timed it after waiting so long in the waiting area. It seems as though they care more about how fat their wallets and seeing as many patients in one day as possible rather than their patients well being. My father and I both tried to ask questions regarding side effects he is having from his medication and the doctor practically ignored us and brushed over the questions as if they were never asked and then proceeded to rush us out of the room. It was such an awful experience, I can say I plan on bringing my father to EVERY single appointment from now on. I think something needs to be done about this. It seems to be more of a drug pushing practice than a mental health practice. How can you see a patients for five minutes when they are on multiple medications and have various other health issues and think that that is adequate time to make a medically sound decision on whether their meds are balanced and they are doing well? ESPECIALLY when we both had questions and concerns that went unanswered. I am looking to get my father into another practice but unfortunately there are not many around so for the meantime, I will be watching very closely at every appointment. I suggest you all do the same if you have a loved one that goes there or if you are considering becoming a patient yourself.

Everyone makes mistakes even people with medical licenses. Doctor Solberg truly was one of the good ones - actually listened, didn’t push drugs down my throat, and I truly felt her caring and warmth. For someone who touches so many people in the community for the better the state should have been more lenient with her case. I’m very sad it’s almost like losing a dear friend. I’m not sure about any other providers there but I wanted to thank one amazing doctor there and wish nothing but the best. Thank you for serving us Doctor Solberg you will truly be missed. On that note I’m slightly panicking looking for another doctor but I don’t believe dr Solberg meant to leave anyone high and dry and set me up with a nurse practitioner even though I’ll be looking for a new doctor.

She majorly overbooks her patients and you'll show up to your appointment early but still end up spending 45 minutes waiting for her in the waiting room, not cool.

sam has been incredible and has spent months working with me and trusting my instinct on what meds i've tried and what i'm comfortable taking. we've worked really hard to get where i am today and i'm finally off the many medications prescribed by an old doctor and on a small amount that are making me feel much better and more comfortable. he's taken so much time to work with me, and i'm so appreciative. i will admit sometimes there is a long wait, but for me it's worth it.

I’ve been through doctor after doctor after hospitalization after hospitalization for my bipolar (which is extremely hard to medicate properly) and I swear to God I had lost hope... until I met Dr. Solberg... not only did she get the type of medication I needed at the first appointment and she worked with me to find an almost perfect dose but she also assured me that if I wasn’t feeling ok with it she’d work with me... she makes you as a psych patient (if you’re a psych patient then you know exactly what judgments from others I’m talking about) feel like you are heard and never uses the phrases “normal people” when referring to people without mental illness. She sees you as a person with a heart beat rather than another case number and that is a gem in itself... and it’s only getting better. For those upset about wait times and her not remembering you... it’s probably because she has many other patients besides you and she makes sure to listen intently to every one. She takes the time to listen to me and genuinely cares if I’m not doing well. If you want a psychiatrist that is willing to take the time to listen to you and your needs, is highly educated so she knows what she’s doing, and who doesn’t medicate you to shut you up rather she works with your body and sensitivity to meds to ensure you feel your best... then absolutely I recommend her. If you’re just looking for a psychiatrist to complain about because you’re not really interested in getting better then stop reviewing her because this star rating couldn’t be further from what I have experienced.

she is a wonderful woman who takes her time with all her clients.

I love Dr. Solberg. She takes the time out to listen to your issues and concerns. If you don’t like your medication, let her know and you’ll be able to discuss alternatives. She says away from possibly addictive medication. She’ll go through everything before resorting to the “hard stuff”. The wait time can be long with an appointment, but I actually don’t mind the wait because my schedule allows me to do so without throwing off the rest of my day. I’ve been going to her for 3 or 4 years now. Went too a another doctor for a short while and switched back in less than a year.

The NP was the WORST Psychiatrist I have ever had. She did not even know who I was after seeing her 6 different times. I could not scheduale with her for weeks even in an emergency situation. One two seperate occasions I called multiple days in a row for a refil to the point that I went days without my Lamictal, which for anyone who knows, is extremely dangerous and will make you lose your mind. The last time I called I got very upset with the receptionist. At this point I had to go to urgent care to get my script and explain my Situation because it was legitimately a medical emergency. When this lady finally called me be back she LIED to my face and said she only Got one message from the receptionist when i left multiple messages on her personal answering machine. She goes on to say I can not yell at her receptionist ( remember that I was incredibly manic due to med withdrawal cuz there people did not care to call me back) and she will not see me anymore. She says shell send a 2 month supply of meds. Suprise she never frickin did.

I've been visiting Dr. Solberg since February of last year and I have to say that she is the most caring psychiatrist that I've ever seen. I recently had to stop seeing her because she wasn't taking United Healthcare and had to take a leave of absence for a bit, but now that she's back with United, I'm going to continue my treatments with her. The visits are short because she sees many patients on a daily basis, but it's worth it. Go visit a great psychiatrist that helps college oriented adults, and adults like me. you won't be disappointed.

Lost medical license and didn't set up patients with alternative care. I found out on the news after they cancelled my appointment by sending an email the day before. She didn't do much to help me and I was looking for other care anyway. I was looking to see the Dr all the good reviews came from, not what I got.

Wait time is terrible WITH an appointment. The np doesn't listen to what you have to say, if you're an adult , don't see the therapist there , he specializes in children and will talk to you like you're a 5 yr old
