I tried to give this clinic a chance... the provider I saw lacked a great deal of knowledge and didn’t listen or validate my concerns. When I brought up that I was having tremors as a result of a medication- it wasn’t acknowledged. A week prior to the appointment when I went to pick up my medication the pharmacist had atold me I should have never been put on a certain medication since it was from the same category as another one. And informed me that I needed to bring it to the person who I was seeing as soon as possible. When I brought this up - I was told “pharmacists do that all the time and don’t know what they are talking about” as well as that he had more schooling then a pharmacist and would know. I then asked to see another person in the office since I felt it was a valid concern - in response I was told I would have to talk to the manger and that they don’t allow that. Upon leaving at 8:10 am I was told the manger would call me and would be in any minute. Hours have passed and I still haven’t heard from them. I am writing this because I really don’t want anyone to have to go through the same experience I have been through. As a patient you shouldn’t have to meet with a manager, beg to be switched medications due to horrible side effects and not be heard. I have never had to advocate this much for my health. I called my pcp right away and they said the my experience there wasn’t handled correctly and they would make it a priority to get me off the medication as soon as possible. There are numerous places to be seen and this clinic is NOT a good choice.

I have been going here now for a few years now and feel it’s necessary to tell how it is. I don’t get the quality service like from other places I have been like OHSU. If I didn’t show up to an appointment they would call me after 30 min a well being check was issued by the police. If I didn’t arrive on time I was called asking if I am okay am I running late etc. OHSU had policies in place to make the client feel safe, know they care, & it’s what you do for mental health. This place could care less if you show up, have a question, or need assistance. I feel rushed every time I go see my doctor. She has no time for me, I could call or email and won’t get a response. I only go since it’s the insurance I have and I need the prescription I take to get refilled every so often.
