Worst psychiatrist. Everything went well in the beginning for the first two appointments, and after that he refused to return any of my calls. I went without my medication for 4 weeks before I finally asked my PCP to take over my prescriptions. He finally told me a month later THROUGH A TEXT that he could no longer refill my prescriptions. Extremely unprofessional. There is no excuse for such callous, blasé behavior — especially from a licensed psychiatrist to a patient.

My husband and I are both in healthcare and so we redefine what picky means. I brought a LOT to the table on the 1st appointment. When you need help it’s better to just ripe the bandaid off so the doctor has a running start to do good. I even came thinking what meds I needed. This man LISTENED, gave much tangible input on handling specific daily situations within my home that was considerate of my marriage/children/and myself. He told me NO to the med I thought I needed! and asked for. He Told me what I needed. Was firm. (3 days later all I can say is yep. He was totally right.) And I’m so encouraged he was intentional in processing all the details and confident in the direction I needed to go. But the 5 stars came when I got through 80% of my why I needed him and his eyes filled with tears. I have never been encouraged and honored and reassured as I was on that day. Words are powerful. And acknowledgement is powerful. And rare in this specialty.

I really liked his bedside manner he was easy to talk to and it was a real learning experience to sit through a session with him. He even sent me home with reading materials about my condition which is a first for me with psychiatrists. Will be going back!

I am only a new patient first time visit but despite the fact that I was very anxious and talkative during my visit he was still very kind and extermely knowledgeable of the treatment that I needed. The downside for me was the deductible was expensive. Nothing to do with him just thought I would let you guys knows.

I might change this review after seeing him, because I haven't yet. They scheduled me an entire month out more than 4 weeks i waited for this appointment and took time off my own workday to see him only to find out that he was out of town. Not his fault, but his receptionist tells me she sent phone calls out last week regarding his vacation and rescheduling. She said she left voicemails. I look at my phone records and not a single phone call from them let alone a voicemail. I'm very frustrated with what looks like disorganization and a lack of concern for the patient. The receptionist should have taken responsibility for her oversight rather than lying to me saying she called and left a voicemail. I'm frustrated but don't want to wait another month to see a new doctor. I'll update this review once I actually see the doctor.
