I have never, in my life, had a worse experience with a psychiatric office. They refuse to fill my prescription that I have been on for years. I tell them that I cannot afford the one they are trying to give me and they don't care. The doctors are extremely disrespectful to their patients. They have no appointments and have monopolized the healthcare industry in Charlotte. Mental healthcare should NOT be this stressful. STAY AWAY FROM NOVANT AT ALL COSTS.

Took forever to get someone on the phone to answer a simple question about appointments. They kept putting me on hold and transferring my call to another employee who was not even there. The man on the phone was extremely rude, was not knowledgeable, or willing to ask or find someone present to answer my simple question. If you're not even willing to help me on the phone with something so trivial, I can't imagine what their services are like. Steering clear from anything novant from now on. Thanks.

I have been trying to make a new patient appointment for over a month now. Everytime I call the appointment line and tell her I'm a new patient and my referral has already been received.. I get transferred somewhere else to leave a message and no one ever calls me back.

The staff is great. Make sure you get there early because of the paperwork. Don't miss any appointments. This place has really helped my family

Dr. Pathiraja is away for one month, back late February. Dr. Christi, sorry for the spelling, is taking her patients. And I was told I could go to him for any problem. A day after Dr. P. Left I realized when I pick up the meds from the Pharmacy they were wrong. Dr. Christi refused to correct the problem and had the balls to say you need to wait until Dr. Pathiraja comes back in a month. Dr. P. what were you thinking? How can I get any REAL help at an extremely difficult time?

This is the worst place to get an apt that fits your busy schedule. The doctor takes there time in your treatment and does not listen to what you have to say. This was my first and last time visiting this office and a complete waste of time!

Chenel Michel isn't fit to practice medicine. He's a pretty sorry human being besides. This weasel is how I got tardive dyskinesia. I complained of involuntary movements for months and got blown off. If I hadn't pulled the plug when I did... jeez.

Friendly staff, great doctors and therapist. Nurse line is very responsive if you have after hour issues. If you find yourself needing these services, this is the place to go.

Has a Heart Of Gold! ❤ She was a God-Send & helped me to overcome a stressful situation dealing with 2 other medical practices that treated me horribly & were extremely RUDE & unaccommodating to me as a human being. She was a breath of fresh air & I am truly thankful she cared enough to help me get an appointment with Dr. Michel when his receptionist [ Ebony ] was EXTREMELY Hurtful, Nasty, & couldn't have given 2 Fuks less that she had me in tears! (Sorry, Not Sorry! BUT.. U are a miserable excuse of a person AND there is NO WAY in actual Hell you have a Heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I'm beyond Disgusted by your behaviour! (She is at the Marvin-Waxhaw location on Rea Rd.... They don't have a page, yet.)

Five (no 10) Star service from the staff. Because of the TMS treatments I received, I’ve found my happy place again. Highly recommend if you have challenges with depression and have found that over time, meds have not made a significant difference.

In my over 65 years of visiting doctors, this office has treated me the worst of any office. For example, I had an issue with a doctor and left over 19 messages over a period of four weeks for the Office Manager to call me. She returned four calls. She only returned the last two because I called Customer Service who contacted her. The Office Manager did not answer my questions posted to My Chart even after I called Customer Service. I could go on and on. Without disclosing personal information, this office has shown almost complete disregard for my requests and concerns. Those involved include the Medical Director, the Office Manager and two doctors. I am greatly disappointed in this office and cannot recommend this medical practice.
