Was told to show up 15 mins early for paperwork and ended up waiting almost an hour after my appointment to see him. He was more focused on my weight than my mental health. He seemed very dismissive when I was giving him my mental health history and even took a personal phone call when I was in his office. He also said that when I go to eat I should give my food to my husband instead. Very hurtful and rude. Would not recommend for anyone to see him.

this man doesn't even deserve one star. my mother has been going to him for two years now. he has over medicated my mother to the point where she can barely leave her room because she is so medicated by him. I believe that he has brainwashed her into a different woman. My mother is not the same person she was two years ago since seeing Dr. Shukla. I'd advise that anyone who goes to him, stop. He is a horrible excuse for a doctor.

My first visit it took a hour wait in the waiting. The receptionist is very rude. she said I had a $20 copay. Therefore. I paid it. I see the doctor and he is very judgemental and thinks everyone is out to do bad things. (is was in a car accident in 2009 and I filled a few perceptions he assumed I was going to abuse any medicine). they schedule me to come back. I call my insurance company and ask them why it wasn't free. they said the claim was paid and member owes nothing. I have met my out of pocket maximum. I had called to inquire about how I wanted to cancel the appointment and get the $20 back. all i got was busy signals from the office. I call back today to try to get this $20 back that I shouldn't have paid. well they added a no show charge to the top of it. I tried to reason with her and explain that they owe me $20. she said I have to pay the $40 first. this office steals money from its patients. the right thing to do after getting an EOB from the insurance company that said I paid and shouldn't have to. the right thing to do would be to send me a check for what I was not suppose to pay. This establishment clearly only cares about their wallets instead of the patients they care for.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. He had my mom on 5 different antipsychotic medicines. She was in the bed for 23 hours a day, with countless attempted suicides.

Every time I call this practice the lady at the desk is rude all the time!! How can you run a business this way!! Really you will drive his patients away! I will defiantly talk directly to Mr Shukla about this!

I went to this doctor for years and he treated me like a child. I had to have my mom sign a piece paper showing that she saw me take my medication. He was mean and acted as though he was the only doctor that could/would help me. I don't know why he's so bitter.

I'm not usually one to write bad reviews, but this place warrants it!! This office is terrible!! If you make an appointment, please be sure you have several hours of wait time blocked off. We waited for 2 1/2 hours AFTER our appointment time one afternoon!! The receptionist is extremely RUDE and UNFRIENDLY to everyone!! She seems like a very bitter hateful woman. The doctor doesn't take the time to listen to your needs. He's paranoid that everyone coming to see him is abusing something. And he also seems like he's just in a hurry to get you out of the office...I know, seems contradictory to the waiting times. We just had a terrible experience here and wouldn't recommend him to anyone, ever!

If your over weight then that's why you have PTSD anixiety depression and borderline personality disorder cause your over weight... im Sorry but I have to let people on the bigger side like me know not to go there you will walk out feeling worse then when you went in zero

Rude doesn't even begin to describe this guy - I started thinking I was on a hidden camera show or something. I mean, this guy started throwing personal insults out of nowhere. Telling me to "again be quiet", "you know nothing", "I can deliver babies, but I do this", "four time I tell you be quiet" (sic), etc, etc. Seriously... this is a joke right?

This is the 1st psychiatrist I went to with to get treatment for schizophrenia. This was a horrible experience. Every other week he had me on different mind altering antipsychotic medication, I went throigh about 5 different meds before I went somewhere else. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and take the time to select the right mental health doctor before possibly exacerbating their situation because you want help quickly.

He should be investigated into. Emails me a year after I stop seeing him. I ( and let me make this clear) I am not a patient of this man have not seen him in over a year and will never be a patient of his ever again because his staff and himself are rude and disrespectful I'm pretty sure he's scamming the government through healthcare and his patients insurance. Please law enforcement do something about this practice
