Dr. Nikiforov was able to solve my 88-year old mom's sleep problem, after several other doctors had struggled and failed to do so --- for more than a year. He listened carefully during our first visit, and worked with her to titrate/adjust her dosage over the next several sessions. Most importantly, in addition to his through knowledge of psychopharmacology, he genuinely cared/wanted to help her, and took the time to study the problem and find the right combination of medications. Given the long list of other drugs she was already taking for high blood pressure, and because of her age and sensitivity to side effects, this required a lot of effort. Overall, Dr. Nikiforov helped us eliminate a significant health risk and dramatically improve my mom's quality of life, and I recommend him enthusiastically and without reservation.

Dr. Nikiforov is truly and empathetic psychiatrist. I suffered an acute case of depression which i had difficulty handling on my own. Dr. Nikiforov listened, and understood my feelings and concerns. He prescibed medications, encouraged me to call him to let him know how i was feeling (even the day before a holiday) and perfectly tweaked the medications. In a short period of time i felt like myself. I would highly recommend Dr. Nikiforov.

He prescribed medications and carefully reviewed as their affect, and adjusted as needed and quickly. He also returns phone calls in a timely fashion, which is important when you need support.
