I found Dr. Neidhardt to be quite an uncaring gentleman who does not seem to be up on the latest treatment. He was completely rude and simply tries to sell his version of psychiatry. His practical advice(though I can count on one hand the amount of practical advice he had given me) is out of date from the information I have garnered. He is an older gentlemen and will ask the same question multiple times in a session, even up to 3 times, which happened in many last sessions. I've also found his use of his cell phone during sessions to be off putting and completely unprofessional.
I saw the Dr for a 6 month period for 10 or more times without the while becoming worse and worse psychologically, when I tried to explain this to him he completely ignored my concerns..
If you do see Dr. Neidhardt just make sure you're aware that if you do not fit into his out of date therapy in which he will proselytism to you every session, while being unwilling to look into any alternatives that I as a patient would try and discuss.
If you would like to see a Dr who will play with his cell phone and look at you dead eyed then this is the man for you.
Slightly professional in office, but the damage done by my own doctors apathy has been highly upsetting.
I hope if anyone out there is looking for help to look elsewhere. I believe the Dr could be damaging to clients and hope this informs the public about him and his methods of practice.
