One of the field psychiatrists performed an assessment of my elderly aunt during her hospital stay. I have now left 3 messages in as many days requesting a call back regarding the result of this assessment prior to her expected discharge tomorrow. I was told by the receptionist that field psychiatrists are very busy and they call back when they can. Extremely poor and unprofessional customer service. Updated review: The psychiatrist called me back after the 3rd message that I left. She spent quite a bit of time discussing her findings and answering my questions. The doctor appeared knowledgeable and thorough. I am deducting 2 stars only due to the length of time it took to return my phone call. I'd like to thank Dr. Barnas for responding to my initial review. I'm glad to hear that you do value communications with family members. My aunt was evaluated during her rehab nursing home stay.
