This review is for HCC 10, the inpatient psychiatric facility in the NYU Langone Medical Center. I'd only been admitted to one other inpatient facility, myself, but this one outclassed it massively. Basically everyone there was content with most aspects of their stay. The food was lovely compared to the other place I'd been to which served grade school cafeteria food at best. This place delivered real, hot food(if sometimes underseasoned for some tongues) for each meal. Sometimes the orders weren't right but you could order more if they messed it up. Weekends are slow as I think is the norm for inpatient, and that was my biggest problem with it. Everyone was pretty understanding of that, even if there wasn't a lot they could do. They allow electronic devices(if you are taking a reasonable part in activities and things like that) with some caveats, like that you can't have your chargers. They have to charge for you at the nurse's station. Hope this helps anyone looking for a good inpatient psychiatric facility, this does fit that description!

Orrin Devinsky, Daniel Friedman and Siddhartha Nadkarni, affiliated with the NYU Epilepsy and Neurology Center are all currently under investigation by the Insurance Commissioner of NY for fraud. This investigation was referred after being reviewed by two fraud investigators in the Attorney General’s Office. I was retaliated against and threatened for reporting Siddhartha Nadkarni, Orrin Devinsky and Daniel Friedman who engaged in unlawful conduct. I had to go to the authorities and outside agencies, because NYU Langone stonewalled and would not address the many violations of law, and did not elevate the matter to law enforcement as required by state and federal law. I also incurred spoliation of my medical record. The legal department at NYU Langone (Lynn Lowy, and Annette Johnson) failed in their fiduciary responsibility to protect patients and report dangerous doctors.
