Dr. Sportelli has treated my children for almost 2 years and has been a godsend for our family. He has a reassuring manner and a thoughtful approach to medication and treats my children with the utmost respect. I am very grateful for the outstanding level of care they have received. I highly recommend Dr Sportelli to anyone looking for a thoughtful, modern Doctor that has a thorough understanding of the biology of mental health conditions, and experience with adults and teens.

He really cares about his patients. It's not like a farm where they write you a prescription and they see a patient every 10 minutes after waiting an hour in the packed waiting room. He is genuinely interested in your psychiatric health and gets back to you fast. Wait time is miniscule.

Sportelli does not care about the safety of his patients or their families. He is easily manipulated by his patients so they get what they want. He offers families no resources, tools, opinions, or advice to help care for their loved one who needs it most. During a terrible time of crisis instead of taking initiative to see his patient in person he suggested simply talking on the phone. Couldn't be bothered to help someone or their family who are desperately crying out for it. Do not trust your family with this lazy POS. Edit: It's also pathetic how he hustled up his other patients to write stunning reviews after I leave mine to bring his rating back up from a 2.6.

I had a extremely detrimental experience dealing with Dr. Sportelli. He showed no interest in my well-being only his own image. He came off as a hot shot, condescending, passive-aggressive egomaniac. He is very articulate, with his calm passive aggressive manner which is uncalming to me. He literally walked away from me while I was trying to understand what was going on with me. I am a stable person who suffers from anxiety, panic disorder and depression.... his demeanor towards me was very unprofessional and unsettling. He is more of a TV personality than a doctor of mental health and medicine. He treated me as if I wasnt a human being with rights and is in the process of doing whatever he can to have me committed to an involuntary ward when I WANT to go... so I am voluntary. I wish for people to see past his gym selfies and charm and see him for the sociopath that he is.

I have found Dr. Sportelli to be a compassionate and committed physician with an extremely kind demeanor. He listens intently, never rushes through our appointments, and always offers me sound and solid advice. Dr. Sportelli is highly skilled, and the combination of his vast knowledge and boundless empathy makes him, in my opinion, a superb physician. I am very grateful to be a patient of his.

Dr. Sportelli Is absolutely wonderful! He is one of those doctors who is very professional and very patient and caring with his clients. I have been seeing him for a little under a year and I have made progress that I never thought was possible. I had been through several other doctors before Dr. Sportelli and they seemed like they did not even want to be in the same room with you let alone help you with your psychological problems. He is very professional and soft-spoken and chooses his words perfectly to make you feel as comfortable as he can. He is a great listener and he explains things very well so that you can understand them. The office is a very clean and has a nice atmosphere of soft lighting and calming background noise and visuals. Toni Anne the receptionist makes it very easy to make and reschedule your appointments and is very kind and caring herself. I would recommend anybody who is looking for a great psychiatrist to give them a call and schedule an appointment and you will see for yourself that this practice is nothing short of amazing! Dr Domenick Sportelli is uniquely genuine. It's remarkable to me that he gives as much time and effort with every step of every process. He makes you feel as if you are the only person he treats. I have had very positive experience with Dr Sportelli. my initial consultation went over by 20 mins which shows how much he cares for his patients and wants to make sure he is making a well thought out plan and his patient is comfortable with the plan. He has taken great care and consideration with regards to my medication and follow ups have not felt rushed. I feel very comfortable and confident in his care.

I took the chance and went to a DO degree doctor. Came out disappointed unsurprisingly. He seems to have very little knowledge outside of textbook material. He is a textbook doctor. He also wrote fake reviews for himself on one website as I found out. He also bashed me for being muslim, despite him giving out an obvious tone of jealously towards tall dark handsome Muslim men like me. I found his seemingly counter-jealous Islamophobia to be unprofessional. He puts other D.O doctors to shame. Don't get me wrong, he speaks very articulately and has great confidence, but it's all superficial and lacks depthy and quality of knowledge.
