I never write reviews but after the experience I had here and the importance of mental health I felt i need to l. First they never answe the phone and I mean NEVER.. took two days to get called back and to make an appt was told it would take 8 months with the de. However if I wanted to see one of the other therapists I could get appt in a month BUT that means I could NEVER switch to the dr when she because available. So I went and actually saw an amazing woman. Until she tried to sell me some 3,000 DNA test. Loved the therapist. So I make another appt for a month. But medicine will run out so.about a week before the appt I start calling . Nobody ever answers the phone , and nobody calls back because they are doing construction ? Had to call my GP at different office to get to them . So I go for next appt , again loved the therapist BUT i waited OVER an hour for appt.. But then two weeks later I can’t deal w side affects of meds and need off. For three days I called .. nobody answers the phone EVER , three days ltr therapist calls back . The office horrifically run and this is not the place to try and sell 3,000 DNA testing the minute someone walks in. So I canceled the remainder of my appts as did two of my friends who were experiencing the same thing . Do not recommend this place at all!

This woman has changed my entire opinion of psychiatrists. There are so many $10 shrinks out there who have overflowing waiting rooms, rude staff and quick to get you in and out of their office. Dr. Frenkle far exceeds my best expectation. She has cutting edge knowledge of mental health care and the newest and safest medications. She listens fully, cares fully and allows me to participate in my treatment. I fully trust her, I never wait more then 5 minutes, the office receptionist is professional and kind. They handle all of my insurance issues and get back to me in acceptable time. She is well worth the wait for an appointment.I would recommend her to anyone in need of a solid diagnosis and treatment plan.

Dr. Violina Frenkel is a caring, knowledgeable professional medical behavioral health doctor. She is compassionate, yet keeps me focused. She is the first psychiatrist to give me hope that she can control my anxiety and depression. I have been to 5 other psychiatrists none of them listened to me or helped me. Dr. Frenkel takes the time to listen and advise me. I have started TMS Deep Therapy. Dr. Frenkels's Staff are caring and helpful, Gloria, Nelly, Micheal and all the staff are terrific. Dr Frenkel is an amazing doctor! The first appointment I ever had with her I was petrified to go into the building because it was a hospital, she talked me through it and told me exactly how to get to her office! She got my anxiety under control within a few months and during that time whenever i emailed her with a concern she emailed me right back or called me! What i love best about her is that she is very knowledgeable with nutrition and vitamins, you can also purchase vitamins in her office! I have never found a psychiatrist like this before! Its amazing having a doctor who doesn't push medication and truly cares about your health and well being!

Average place to seek treatment. I was placed with a Nurse Practitioner since Dr. Frenkel did not have availability for about 6 months. (I also would like to note that once you agree to see someone else, you are also agreeing to never be treated by Dr. Frenkel). I will not be coming back because I was having horrible side effects from my medicine and did not receive a response from the nurse until 3 days later, which is something that I find important.

Dr. Frenkel is an excellent psychiatrist and has helped me with a number of issues over the years. Unlike other psychiatrists, she will tell you the truth and push her patients to confront their issues and actually take the necessary steps to solve the problems in their lives. It appears that the negative reviews on this page are written by people who simply want a therapist to validate their self-destructive behavior and are not ready to put the work in for real change and growth. If you are looking for someone who will agree with everything you say and tell you what you want to hear, then maybe Dr. Frenkel is not the therapist for you. However, if you are prepared to take accountability and fix your life, then I highly recommend Dr. Frenkel.

Stay away if you can. Smart and has good skill. She was the first to get me stabilized after many attempts with other doctors. She's also forgiving with the pricing. So if you're desperate, go for it. She might do the trick like she did for me. But if not... Get someone who knows how to treat their patients. I simply asked for a liquid version of my medication because I was having trouble swallowing so many pills. She basically thought I was crazy for asking this and suggested I go on an anti-psychotic because I'm acting so crazy that suddenly I can't swallow the pills anymore!! I get a second opinion. Tell her the second opinion says the liquid is fine. Shortly thereafter I'm told I'm no longer welcome as a patient and when asked why she says she has no obligation to give me a reason (hmm...wonder what that hidden reason was? ego bruise perhaps?) Then she leaves me just 30 days to find someone new. I lost the only MD that was helping me...just like that. Just for asking for help taking my meds. She is certainly aware that major stress isn't good for my condition and yet she created one of the most angering emotionally jarring rude and uncaring experiences as I have ever had dealing with MDs in any field. She should think twice about her reputation before she treats another patient like a dog. Because it doesn't go unnoticed. And at least one person isn't afraid to call you out. I'm sure there will be others if you continue like this.

She’s very knowledgeable in her field and is able to carry out a proper diagnosis and create a care plan that will benefit you physically and mentally. I never leave reviews, but I am current patient here and I absolutely hate going here for appointments. I am currently trying to find a new practice to go to that is in my insurance network. I have been going here for several months now (over a half a year give or take) and I have multiple issues with this place. I heard all the glowing reviews and thought this practice would be perfect. When I went there I realized that they offered incentive to patients for leaving good reviews. So please keep that in mind while you are reading up on this practice. First and foremost, unless you go in early, do not be surprised if you have to wait several hours to get into your appointment. (This has happened to me several times) The waiting room is also extremely small and I have seen people who have to stand up and wait for appointments over long periods of time. My first time going to Integrative Behavioral Care for an appointment, there was an issue with the billing to my insurance. I was told my appointments were covered by the insurance, I called my insurance company to confirm it, and knew 100% that it these meetings were partially covered and exactly how much else I had to pay out of pocket. But when I went to my first initial appointment, the guy at the billing department wasn't sure if they took my insurance (even though I called to confirm) and so he turned me away. To be fair, he did say I COULD have my appointment, but only if I paid $500 out of my own pocket, and I "might not be reimbursed". This was all after I made the appointment, drove a half an hour to this hospital, found parking (which is a hassle in itself and waited an additional half an hour in the waiting room.) I called later that week and rescheduled because my insurance was obviously taken in network there. I never got any sort of apology from him and the way it was handled was very unprofessional on their part. The two women at the front desk take weeks to handle important paperwork. (I believe they are understaffed since the volume of patients they seem to help, but that is a different compliant) I am currently a college student and they were supposed to send paperwork to the accommodative services so I could get extra time on exams, and they still have not sent it to them after a month. (Yes, I have called to ask the status of the paperwork, and gave them contact information on who wants it, their email if they have any questions, their phone number, fax number, and address.) Not only this, they handed in paperwork I needed for an IMPORTANT HORMONE THERAPY late and I was not able to start on time when I needed to.

She was recommended to us in-plan for insurance for our teenager who is suffering from depression in addition to previously diagnosed ADHD. She is very detached and had no interest in discussing my child's current condition aside from writing the rx for previously prescribed ADHD meds. In fact, when I asked her a specific question, she was unable (or refused) to answer. She rushed us out the door in less than 10 min. My observation is that she is a pill mill doctor at best. Very disappointing.

I called the office on April 6th to schedule an appointment with Dr. Frenkel. She came highly recommended. I spoke with Leslie and she said the soonest the doctor could see me was April 27th. I scheduled the appointment for the 27th. I then received a text on the 26 th to confirm my appointment with the nurse practitioner. I immediately called the office and indicated my appointment request was specifically for Dr. Frenkel. They said Leslie was a temp and made an error in scheduling and that Dr. Frenkel was fully booked and unavailable for months. I requested to speak with the doctor and she did not make any effort to reach out to me. As a professional who runs a busy practice myself, I find this to be unacceptable. If you make a mistake make it right. Don’t just fluff me off. No thank you Dr. Frenkel, I don’t care how good you are. If you are unaccessable and unaccountable for your staff, I will gladly take my care elsewhere. It’s not a nice look for you.

Beginning with baseline testing for micronutrients and genetic predispositions for drug metabolization not only cuts down on the trial and error of appropriate medical interventions, improving patient satisfaction and in some cases, saving lives, it addresses the bottom line cost of health care. Waste not, want not. Furthermore, Dr. Frenkel is able to effectively explain test results to the layperson in order to empower them to be partners in their own health. As a patient, I feel empowered to be an active participant in my own wellness.

This woman is the most unethical human being I've ever met. She never answers the phone, or returns phone calls. In her "profession" she's dealing with people at a very tough and emotional time in they're lives. She exploits them for $400 a visit and then has you come back a week later for anther $250. She has no sense of urgency, and addiction is a very urgent matter especially when an addict is trying to better they're lives and stay clean. I was running 5-10min late to our appointment because I was unable to locate her building and where she was in that building. She never said the building or suite she was in, and when I called to ask her I got her message machine 5 separate times with no returned phone call. I would stay away from her at all cost. She genuinely only cares about her pay check, and her patients are merely a way to pay her Range Rover car note.
