Dr. Neelung is unresponsive to your request or needs he exclusively pushes what is pharmaceutical representatives tell him to push at top dollar with no insurance $356 per month and they want to see you 10 days after your first appointment and every 30 days after that and they over charged for the deductible which should’ve been $50 and they overcharged me by 50%

They are pretty much drug dealers. 20 minute psych evaluation and they give you whatever you ask for but don't worry if they get you hooked they can give substance abuse counseling.

I can only speak for Dr. McCullom, but I have had excellent experiences.

If I could have selected "zero stars" I would have. This provider is the epitome of poor customer service, lack of communication, lack of professionalism and failure to meet customer needs. Getting anyone to answer a phone at this facility is like waiting for a lunar eclipse. The intake process is broken and can take 5-7 weeks. Once an application is submitted, it can take an addition month to be seen. When we eventually got an appointment approximately 2+ months later, Dr. Khan left early for the day and we were not notified until we came for our pre-scheduled appointment (on-time). No explanation or accommodation was provided. My child was in need of medication and this was the sole purpose of this "urgent" visit. After Dr. Khan's "no show" at our appointment, Dr. Khan refused our numerous requests for an explanation via phone calls, voicemails and office texts (which they primary use for communication). Our child was in desperate need of medication and this was completely unacceptable. Trying to reschedule an appointment is impossible due to the fact that they do not answer phones or respond to email in a timely manner. Even using the office text process (which they obviously prefer) does not work since they do not always respond timely when you need to reschedule. Dr. Khan then decided to refuse to see our child after (1) first cancelling our initial appointment (that we waited over 2 months for) and after (2) we contacted them to reschedule an appointment due to an emergency (that was communicated timely but their office did not respond to in a timely manner). I have gone to the office and I personally requested to speak with Dr. Khan for an explanation. I have texted (as per their request) and emailed. Not only does Dr. Khan refuse to respond, she left the office as I was speaking with another doctor (Dr. Thorpe) about how to get my child proper care. I have never encountered a health care provider with such unprofessional staff (Dr. Khan specifically) and unprofessional services. Dr. Thorpe was very professional but Dr. Khan may want to reconsider another profession altogether. Dr. Khan's lack of communication and unprofessionalism can be catastrophic to someone in need of services and medication management.

I have been going to Central Behavioral Health for the past 3 years. I think that the customer service and the value of people attending your health issues is declining tremendously!!!!! I feel totally disgusted as how I have been treated in that place! First of all, BEWARE PEOPLE!!!! God forbid if you have accidentally missed your appointment, you are automatically charged a $50 fee on top of your co-pay for your visit!!! NO EXCUSES!!!! WHERE IS THE HUMANITY IN THIS???????? Oh but it seems that they have forgotten once when I showed up, a therapist had to cancel my appointment at the last minute due to an emergency he had and I happened to know about this when I stepped in their office!!! Well today, I was surprised with my $50 fee when I had accidentally forgot a missed appointment and called them up quickly to reschedule. I had apologized and she said it was alright and fine, (NEVER!!!! mentioning she was going to charge me of that $50 fee). As I was paying for my co-pay today, another receptionist told me that it seems I had missed an appointment and she had the audacity to ask how I would like to pay for $50 fee. I told her I was never told about it and she stood quiet. So I had to end up paying for that! Mind you, they had charged me another time of $50 fee when I was unaware they were the ones who made the appointment without my acknowledgement! I am totally fed up with their service!!!!!! The therapists I have met, likes to talk to you but never resolves your problems or techniques. They look like they are the ones that need HELP!!!!!! Also, when I do see my psycharist, he is always rushing me out without properly talking to me. If I have to mention something, he will cut me off without finishing my sentence!!! Then, I am off on my way out of his door, after a 3 minute conversation!!! WOW!!! I sure got some excellent service that was worth of my $100 penalty pay!

People are complaining about the $50 fee for missing an appointment, but it is a fair charge because your poor planning caused them to lose money. It's less than half the cost of the appointment (without insurance). The psychiatrists do seem to try to squeeze in as many appointments as possible, so you do get rushed out, hence you should prepare what you want to ask in advance. All in all they do their jobs.

I saw Dr. McCullom for about a year and a half and he was excellent. I never felt rushed, and he always listened, and was prepared for my appointment. We were always on the same page with my meds. I never had a problem with the office staff.

I found my experience with Dr. Ruby Abraham and the staff at her office to be extremely unprofessional. First of all, it is impossible to get in touch with anyone at the office and messages for the doctor are never relayed on time. Staff are also rude and condescending when speaking over the phone. I was finally fed up with this office when I was forced to make countless phone calls to her office in a frantic effort to get a renewal prescription for a medication which had run out. Long story short, my father went without this medication for a month before she finally put the order through to the pharmacy. To summarize, Dr. Ruby and her staff are extremely irresponsible and I do not recommend their services to anyone.

The psychiatrists are good, not so hot on the therapists not so much. Primarily they listen, but they do no therapy otherwise-they do not intelligently challenge wrong patterns of thinking. Dr. Hong, the MD is exceptional, thorough and is truly concerned with the patient's health.

Always overbooked. I am so fed up with having to wait. Appointments are also so long. Just a waste of my time.

They do not think twice about charging that fee no matter what. I've paid more in fees than I have in copay. Schweiger was a decent doctor but the first woman that I saw I felt very judged by and asked for someone else. As for the therapy-I often felt like he needed to talk more than I did. Another doctor gave me the wrong dose of a highly controlled substance and -let's just say thank God they LEFT A MESSAGE ON MY VOICEMAIL. THATS SARCASTIC. He made a major mistake. I could have overdosed. If I were the doctor in this case and realized my mistake, I would have not stopped calling the patient until I got in touch with them so I was assured they were okay. And stupid me, I googled them because it's time for me to go to therapy again and I realized after reading the reviews here that I still hadn't. Learned my lesson. So thank you to the other reviewers-you helped me remember how terrible this place can be.

My experience here was only with Dr. Kahn for a few months for ADHD and Anxiety treatment. The staff at the front were friendly and helpful. Haven't had any problems there. Dr. Kahn on the other hand... She wasn't very cooperative, barely asked questions or seemed to car. about trying to help with anything. the vibe I got was that she just wanted to write your prescription then hurry to the next person. At times it felt almost too easy to choose what I want to be on, and whatever dose.

I was very disappointed in my experience with Dr.mcallen, I only went to him because of my insurance changing. we had 3 sessions and he didn't listen to me and my needs. He acted like I was beneath him as a person.I told him what medications I've taken over the past year. He cut my dose down by more than half and I suffererd for 3 months. I asked him for help and he did the complete opposite. And as a girl he made me feel very uncomfortable. .

I have been going to CJBH since 2016. I find Dr. Bascara to be an excellent psychiatrist, and I find Roy Hirshfeld to be an excellent therapist. I've also have no problems with the office staff.

Zero stars....Impossible to start here as a new patient. As directed by voice mail, I attempted to send in the paperwork as a first time patient. Couldn't send it as the email box was full. Called twice and left message. Never got a call back. Texted a number that was left on their voice mail, the person responded back with a new email address. I submitted the papers, still have never heard back..4 weeks ago. Good thing this wasn't an emergency....There is little compassion or professionalism here.

If I could give this place zero stars I would , I got my daughter to come here and the therapist did not follow up at all and then goes on 7 week vacation back to India , her country , meanwhile I ask to speak with the owner of this place and he does not respond , this place is very disorganized and totally unprofessional , please do not waste ur time or money to go here, there are plenty of good caring therapist out there, this place is not one of them, I can't even believe they are in business

You can complain to the owner: Dr. Vincent Lim. Their staff are unprofessional, rude, despicable. Every single time I have problems with this disgusting STAFF. The doctors are good but the STAFF are unprofessional and rude. Don't waste your time going there

The mental health providers at Central Jersey Behavioral Health are, in general, highly capable clinicians. Based on my experiences working with several therapists, it has become evident to me that providers are equipped with extensive years of clinical experience in their areas of expertise as well as post-graduate training beyond their doctorates. I appreciate that my therapist welcomes my active participation in the treatment process. His support and warm demeanor facilitates the formation of a safe working relationship to explore how the unhealthy styles of relating and negative automatic thoughts have contributed to my poor mental and physical health. I know I have to be committed to the process. I just appreciate the fact that my doc is walking along side as I grow in my journey toward wellness. There is a huge difference between CJBH and the growing number of private practices with MA level counselors who are 20 something and already seeing 30 clients a week. Central Jersey Behavioral Health is a hidden gem in Union County.

What is going on with this office? I call the main number and it says disconnected? There is a woman called Toni she is really rude to patients.

CJBH is the worst experience ever. They never return calls or emails. I can't get hold of anyone. Just a waste of time and money to go to this facility.

Charles Santiago

Take to long to request I prescription

This place really is the worst. Some well meaning people, but wildly incompetent and lacking any kind of urgency or customer care, especially considering the typical person that is in need of their services. As for the docs, they'll vary I suppose. Mine is fine enough, but suffers from the same bizarre behavior as the office in general. Not totally sure if it's incompetence, indifference, bitterness, or some combination.
