I have been seeing Dr. Casey for over a year now, she is INCREDIBLE! Logistically speaking it has been easy to make and change appointments, get in touch with her for medications, and I have never had problems with billing/insurance. She is always warm and welcoming and I find it easy to discuss my issues with her. She is never dismissive of my questions or concerns and always takes the time to explain her recommendations and my options when new issues arise. She is both professional and relatable in a way that is comfortable and reassuring. TL:DR - Dr. Casey is amazing!

Dr. Casey is wonderful. She is ready to listen and very accommodating to your schedule and your time. She is understanding of how you are thinking, and really puts a sense of “reality” or “normalization” if you are having negative thoughts- which made me feel better. Our sessions were useful in both time and conversation.

Had a thorough pre-screening by phone months ago, and waited for my appointment, only to be turned away.

Never returned phone calls in regards to setting up an appointment. Disappointing as I’ve had a difficult time finding anyone local who takes my insurance and accepts new patients. Was just hoping to finally talk about some of my issues from childhood trauma and deal with my depression finally. The search continues I suppose.

Absolutely Terrible. I am writing this survey for my mother, as a witness of what I've seen her go through strictly from this doctor. let's start at the beginning; My mom has had manic Depression since 18 years old, she is 56 this month. With that, she has always been very anxious, worried about the small things. My mother, has never cried a tear in front of her family, and has ALWAYS pushed through the hard times and done whatever she had to, to let us know she will be okay even on the hardest days. She had a doctor who she had been with almost her whole diagnoses, although he was a bit outdated he was great and always took care of my momma! He always listened to her, and although her medicine would fluxuate, he would stay on top of it with her blood tests and always recommended a steady, safe increase or decrease in lithium, and her thyroid. He's retired now, which brought us to Dr. Casey. Sadly, she is not the same trustworthy story. In early February my mom had severe pneumonia, and then after that a blood infection, which confined her to her bed for a couple months when she wasn't in the hospital. Shortly after this my mom was seeing Dr. Casey, and I have never seen her in worse shape than this time. she grew a little better as the pneumonia left, and as time went on she hit a plateau. Dr. Casey changed some of the medicine my mom had been on since the old doctor, and my mom's condition was almost unbearable. She could barely walk, consistently gaining unnecessary weight, took the smallest baby steps, an unbelievable gain in shaky hands and extremities when trying to do the most basic things, like sit and stand, drink from a straw, hold a fork. She couldn't eat soup from not being able to steadily hold the spoon to her mouth, her sleeping was off and immune system was down. But worst of all? My 55 year old mom became incontinent, which has never happened before. My family lovingly took care of these hard times, and always stayed by her side, no matter what. she couldn't to much without us at this time honestly. This all happened because Dr.Casey overmedicated my mom, this is not an exaggeration, I had to tell this story even if it's to help one person. This doctor left after only 6 months of seeing my mom, which means this all happened during that time. She left all of her patients after something to do with Obamacare, thank God. my mom went from seeing her and taking 13 pills...THIRTEEN..down to 5. And this new doctor is such a blessing, he has taken her off Risperdal, Depakote, and Lithium, the biggest pills that caused most of these problems. We later found out Dr.Casey upped her Risperdal while seeing her which made her completely incontinent and gain water weight. Since being rid of the unnecessary torure, my mom has literally never looked better, and she's so active! This is my hallelujah, I am so incredibly happy to have her back, and better than ever. Please don't let anyone you love be put under this stress, or overmedicated, including yourself. I strongly suggest everyone find a good doctor, who cares about the well being of their patients; after all if we're not under good care, who is? Thank you for reading this lengthy story.

I LOVE Dr. Casey! Psychiatry is so very complicated and I have had to go through several to find one who understands my issues and is able to help me maintain an equilibrium with medications. There is no one-size-fits-all doctor that will work for every patient. But I am thrilled to have found a kind and compassionate psychiatrist! Plus, I would just like to say that Dr. Casey does NOT abandon her patients as the other reviewer stated. She did move her office across the street and with that came a lot of paperwork changes, so she stopped seeing new patients for a while. And another time my insurance company was posing problems with her getting paid, so she stopped taking my insurance. Thankfully, the insurance issue was resolved and I was able to return to Dr. Casey. I have never felt so comfortable with a psychiatrist--I know she has my back at any time!
