Reading some of these reviews and I dont know what Dr. Kolade they saw. The Dr. Kolade I saw literally walked in the room said "Hi, how are you?" I go "okay" and hands me my prescriptions. He was with me less than one minute, didn't ask about my thoughts or anything or even give me the chance to say I haven't been sleeping maybe my meds need changed???....So since my copay is $70 a visit I asked can I get refills so I dont have to have to come every month since this is a hi/bye transaction, he said no. I have went to this office 4 months now and was initially told that if my meds do not change I can get refills after 3 months, that was a lie. I will not be going back and I suggest if your looking for an office choose elsewhere and if your family members suicidal they'll leave with less hope in this world than they walked in with.

I took my child here for an initial evaluation and the appointment was phenomenal. Dr Kolade was an active listener, was kind to myself and my child, and had incredible bedside manner. His H and P was very comprehensive and he gave clear instructions about f/u. He really demonstrated that he cared. Today, however, was my child’s 3 month f/u appt and it was clear that he did not complete a chart review prior to greeting us. He wasn’t sure what my son was being seen for. However, I had no problem getting him up to speed. To wrap up the visit, he was dismissive, attempted to correct my grammar on multiple occasions, rushed me, interrupted me several times during my explanation of things, and did not validate me. I’m a health care professional, which he did not know, but I will be sure to never refer my patients to him for psychiatric evaluation or treatment.

My son only had 1 appointment with him so far but so far so good!!! He took the time out to really talk to us and find out what was going on with my son he has a very welcoming personality and made us feel very comfortable I’m not sure what happened with the other reviews but I was very pleased!!!

Dr. Kolade and his staff are AMAZING! Juan and Jennifer are always pleasant and make me comfortable at each and every visit! Couldn’t ask for a better Doctor!!!

Going to the medical board on this Dr. Prescribed my Mother an antidepressant on top of a current antidepressant she has been taking for 40 years. Did not want to even hear of the medications my Mother was on. Stated “I don’t care what you WERE taking, this is what I am prescribing” BEWARE/ DANGER TO PATIENT SAFETY

Poor service all around by far...doctor is beyond rude no bed side manners what so ever ...you ask questions and never get answered...on top of that he prescribed my son medication for something he doesnt have without my knowledge and the nurse practitioner is just as bad she is unfamiliar with kids and treats adults when you call the office your on hold forever ...these people do not listen at all and do not explain anything and give nothing but rude remarks when you question them I I could give zero stars I would worst doctor ever!

If it wasn't for Dr. Kolade I'd still be rolled up in a ball in the corner of a room, lost to my demons. He saved my life. And continues to help me to this day. This man is a professional. Sounds like most of the complaints are coming from people who are seeking a therapist. Dr. Kolade provides medication and the tools you need to cope, the rest is up to you. He is one of the best I've found!!! All of his patients are a priority. He doesn't coddle. He listens, he finds solutions and writes scripts accordingly. Anything else is the job of a THERAPIST.

I moved here from out of town. I needed a new Dr. first dr didn’t like my meds that I was on in my old state. One dr took me off half my stuff(mind you I have been on these meds for years and the only ones that worked) she wouldn’t listen to me and tried to give me all this other medication that made me weird. So after 2 visits I switched to Akindele Kolade. He listened to me and didn’t know why the last dr took me off all my meds that I need and work. He listened to me about not being to function on these random meds the other dr gave me. I’m back to “normal” and not an emotional, bi polar a$$ hole lol. I had a great experience!!

By far the rudest doctor I’ve ever have the displeasure of meeting. Walked in and just asked about his hundred globes he has on his desk, he immediately says sit down we’re not here to talk about that( yet this was after I waited three hours to be called back). Then this doctor proceeded to never make eye contact with me once, and just stared at his computer reading his Patient survey and clicking away on his computer. Yet after a whopping five minutes of knowing me said some of the rudest things to me I do not wish to repeat. Another thing when you first walk through the door they have this giant metal door where the bathroom is and they immediately make you walk in take a drug test put it in another metal door lock it in and then go back to your seat. If I knew what it was to have to interact with a parole officer I would think it be just like that. Absolutely horrible doctor would never recommend nor ever go back. I went in there with PTSD looking for treatment, and was treated as a criminal. Also for anyone that’s going to send their kids there please don’t, he’s probably gonna end up traumatizing them.
