Horrible experience...wouldn’t allow my dog to visit this assembly line System...especially SLU Care Phychiatry .. they are teaching students at the expense of the patients . Dr Sood in Phciatry shouldn’t be practicing medicine. Anybody who is seeking medical services, just remember you know your body the best, unfortunately there are doctors who are outliers, that don’t agree what is best for patient. They base there opinions on biased data and outdated methodologies. I wish I had better things to say, I wasn’t asking for a miracle, just a little empathy . Bottom line, I don’t spend my time trying to pick apart google maps doctors, I assure you I have much better things to do with my time. I wouldn’t wish the way I was treated, on a body who is fortunate enough to seek medical help paid for by insurance. The businesses of medicine is fundamentally flawed. Slu Care Phychiatry is unfortunately apart of the system, designed to care for their patients, who instead end up hurting them instead and by not paying attention to how they say they feel, sometimes it’s hard to describe how you feel, it’s important to find someone that really cares about your overall quality of life, with the goal of making quality of life at the very least manageable. When choosing a medical provider, you should interview them first, and make sure they are a good fit for your personality. My overall experience at this facility is unacceptable and I felt it was important to voice my opinion. Good luck in choosing a “quality” medical provider. If they cared enough to take my complaint seriously, I would give them one more chance to make it rite...and revaluation my review.

I’ve had nothing but warm welcoming caring staff at slucare I see dr chand and dr parracha Both have helped me get my life back through hard work of CBT and exposure therapy and a combo of medications I feel everyone genuinely cares and listens to my concerns I feel hopeful everytime I leave that I am in the best recovery care The desk staff are kind and friendly they even have a nice area with toys so my son can play I honestly can’t recommend these people enough

I had great experiences in the past but as of lately You don't know who is in charge. I've seen great psychiatry residences in the past. The Doctor I currently had did not want to work with me. I complained about her and she asked if we could start off on a new foot. I wish I would have said no. I heard my problems were "to complex to deal with." at the clinic I've went to for 6yrs? She poorly managed my Medicine She would show up late constantly; which the desk people would always make comments about within earshot of me. She would purposely try to confuse me and make me think I didn't hear her right or she would change her stories. Lastly. She promised to help me find a New Doctor and Therapist. It went from the doctors mentor up and quit? No list of Doctors was left for me. Than it was too early to make calls to places? Dr Sood had no interest in me at all. Slu had no interest and never consulted with me on releasing me from their care. 6 years there and now I have no Doctor or therapist. My Chart info is not fully there due to SSM neglect in losing it during the merger with Slu. My medical release consent form I filled out never made it to the records department! I have family and friends that work at 3 different hospitals and have never seen such a mess in their career. I'm actually thinking about taking legal action for patient neglect. If you decide to go here, take a friend or family member with You. Good luck.... Btw the workers behind the desk are the only positive thing you will encounter.
