The staff here is the worst. The ladies at the front desk are cold and rude. If you wind up in the hospital and miss your appointment then they will drop you as a patient. You will not know you have been dropped because they do not call to see where you were or even to reschedule. You will find out only when you go to refill your script at which point they will ignore the pharmacy requests and when you call they will say too bad just stop taking your doctor prescribed antidepressants because you are no longer a patient here. Bunch of bastards, hands down. 0 stars.

Not happy with their service, was trying to make an appointment and haven't been there in a while. They told me I couldn't make one until I paid the past due balance. Once I paid that off I am no longer able to go there because of missed past appointments. That's really deceitful they should have told me I couldn't make an appointment instead of telling me I had to pay first. Not happy about this at all.

Don’t ever go here. I had been seeing Dr. Seraji for two years, come to find out she had not only diagnosed me with several things I didn’t have by leting me believe I had things I did have without telling me otherwise. For example I went in to be see if I had actually had Borderline Personality Disorder instead of Bipolar 1. She let me talk for forty five minues agreeing me with saying yes she thinks I do before saying don’t you remember telling me you had this. Now after leaving because I didn’t want to see her and want to see someone else there they have blocked my phone numbe.

Wish I could give this place no stars. Not only are the service charge ridiculous, they doctors only talk to you for 5 minutes. They require you to make an appointment to get you’re medication then change the date. They caused me to have a sucidal relapse. They moved my appointment without my permission and wouldn’t give me medicine to hold me over until they could get me in. Not only did they still not provide me with my medicine, they didn’t care I was hospitalized for 2 days from my attempt then moved to a center. Very unprofessional. They like to charge clients for seeing doctors who have never had a session with you. Make you pay an outstanding balance even if it’s just $50 before you can come in. They do not care about their patients, only money. Save your money, save your self DO NOT go here.

my son went there for a while - doctor put him on meds after only 5 minutes of talking to him. refused to re-evaluate the meds after it caused my son to have fainting spells. he ended up being hospitalized for 7 days.. and got socked with a $736 bill from them while he was in the hospital. won't confirm if the doctor that saw him while he was in-patient was acting as an agent of this group or the hospital.. plus he's covered under my medical insurance. found a different therapist closer to my house and she worked amazingly with him and listened to my concerns and his. won't ever recommend anyone to this place

Staff is always helpful and polite. I see Dr. Murali who has been so caring and understanding. After awhile of trial and error we found the perfect combination for me.

Given the issues I had to deal with I can't thank my doctor and therapist at Advent Medical Group enough. The staff was very nice, even when some of the patients were rude and impatient and disrespectful. These guys must have the patience of saints. I recommend them highly. Worth the wait.

This Doctors office requires you make an appointment for any refills. It is very hard to get in touch with an actual person to even make an appointment. On my behalf Walgreens has been contacting this doctor for 15 days for a refill on my medication and they say they haven't recieved ANY response.

I had a Great Therapist until the office staff made a mistake in the billing. Then the lady was very rude and disrespectful. I really liked seeing the therapist too. It's always the office staff with there redundant customer service messing things up and treating the patient awful. Why can't these Doctors and Therapists get a better staff.

I DO NOT recommend Dr. Thirtala. Absolutely despicable people skills and barely even listens to you during your 5 minute session. Last visit I waited over an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time. When I finally went in she spent 3 minutes of the 5 minute session providing excuses for why I had to wait. We literally spoke for 30 seconds about meds I needed refilled and the session was over. When I approached the desk to pay my $25 copay I was told that Dr. Thirtala had waved the copay due to my extra long wait. A nice gesture I guess. Then a couple weeks later I receive a bill for that copay. I contacted the office and they said they would have to speak w Thirtala. When they called me back the staff told me that she said she did not excuse the co-pay that she never does. An absolute bold-faced lie. I actually saw the front desk person write it on the paperwork. They will not resell any prescriptions without an appointment no matter what. She has absolutely no interest in the well-being of her patients. She is simply there to charge fees write scripts for people. Absolutely horrible experience. I will say that the staff appears to be very friendly but they are limited in what they can do. After three separate visits I have not had one visit where there weren't billing errors. I highly encourage people to choose another place for their medical needs.

I had my new Patient visit/appointment today and the staff and the NP was wonderful and we both found out that we are both virgos..I felt welcomed and the NP was more then helpful and actually cared how you felt and listened. I think we are going to have a great patient and doctor connection/relationship. It's very rare to find those type of drs in the first place..

I LOVE the staff at Advent Medical Group. They are always so polite and friendly. They actually smile, unlike most places I go. Dr. Murali is amazing. He really takes his time with you, which is hard to find. I really don't know where I would be without them.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with doctor perez and the office in general.. I cant believe hes a doctor because after 15 or so depression and anxiety meds nothing worked. then i go to family doctor and his opinion worked first try!!! i suggest finding a different place to be treated if your considering coming here.

Horrible office. Had to cancel my husbands appointment. Was told i couldn't reschedule at that time so when i called back I was told they werent taking new patients. My husband went through the program, which was the only way to get an appt in the first place with one of their psychiatrist. After being told they werent accepting new patients, their only recommendation was to go through it again. Very rude, not understanding or helpful.

I see a therapist and psych at Advent. Super helpful staff who went out of their way to help correct a mistake the pharmacy made. The ladies at the front desk are always welcoming and friendly. Five stars!

Do not go to Dr. Perez. He does not care about how you're feeling or what you tell him. He is fast to prescribe medicine and get you out of his office. He let me leave his office extremely upset and told me I should get a second opinion all while packing his stuff up to go home for the day. The staff are all extremely friendly, I just don't recommend this psychiatrist!
