Dr. Sagar Patel is not who you want to see when you are in need of help. As a patient of his you feel like you are an utter inconvenience. During my first visit I was very hopeful that I was going to get treatment and help for ongoing issues. It was extremely disheartening to go into the office and only be read a questionnaire and then be constantly interrupted during my answers so that the "Doctor" could answer his text messages. After my brief (8-10 minutes) visit I was written a prescription and sent on my way. I was very surprised to get a call a few days before my next scheduled appointment to be told that "Dr" Patel would not be in and I would need to reschedule my appointment for another 2 weeks away. This blatant lack of concern for patients is appalling. As I hoped I would at least be able to have better luck with the therapist I was disappointed once again to find that they are only available Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm. Which for an employed person is very difficult to manage. Please take my advice if you are seeking mental health help try another practice that shows concern for their patients.

Dr. Sagar Patel is unprofessional and not patient oriented. On my first visit his bedside manner was horrendous. I was in the worst place mentally I have ever been in my life and his attitude was that I was just a hindrance in his day. I will say I do appreciate him for prescribing me medication that has worked wonderfully; however, I think someone else with a different disposition/in a worse mental state than I was in would have been discouraged enough to not want to interact with Dr. Patel ever again and not follow his prescribed care plan. This, combined with the fact that the clinic rescheduled one of my followup appointments with him by leaving me a voicemail and not confirming my availability first, caused me to make the decision to seek care elsewhere. Giving 2 stars only because the staff is so sweet here and Baxter Houge (therapist) is great...but I just want nothing to do with this clinic after my experience with Dr. Patel and trying to work around his extremely busy schedule.

I was 9 I think when I started and I was hurt and very scared from past experiences. Now I am 12 and I have learned so much. If you are in need of three for any reason I truly , truly recommend Imagine Behavioral Health as your first option. THANK YOU IMAGINE!!!!!!!!!
