I would not go to anlliance helth center. Cuz the nurse are mean and they don't give you want you need they are very mean to you

Carla Dees

This place is not what they want you to believe it is. They seem very caring and interested in you and your problem. Once your signed in and get to your floor everything changes. The nursing staff are rude and let you know real quick your not their problem. The rooms are filthy, the food is disgusting. You are stuck on this floor with some pretty savory characters, and you do not feel safe. All looks good from the outside. Totally different on the inside.

I only gave one star because I had to to put up my review, if not for that they would have a negative 5 stars. I took my son to Alliance today for possible admission. As we walked in the lobby they asked for ID and insurance. My husband had stepped out to our vehicle to get my son's shoes when the lady that came out to admit my son told me I couldn't have my purse so j asked my son to take it out to the car. She attempted to tell me that my child could not leave. Now keep in mind we had only been there no more than 10 minutes. No admission papers had been signed nothing had been signed I hadn't even signed the sign it sheet. When I asked why she said because we dont let patients leave once they come. Until he was admitted he was not a patient so I took my child outside and discussed the situation with my husband while the lady eavsdaropeed at the door to our conversation. I went in and informed them that he would not he staying there when she told me again that he could t leave once he had been given a bed. My son had a mobile assessment done last night, we agreed to come in talk to someone about admissions, and see if we like the facility, we never agreed to admissions signed any papers but they tried to keep our child. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. I will never recommend this facility. The staff is awful, rude, and this woman did not care one bit about upsetting my child.

Thank you everyone, especially Dr. Jordan. You really make an impact in my life. I am an addict of many things, but not drugs. If you mix those addictions with hyper activity, it can get emotional. Don't think completely of sex. Mrs. Jordan is a lucky woman.... Lol. How in the hell do I get to you when everything is fine? Well, I have to sign Jane Doe..... Sometimes it takes the file to understand. Thanks again and I miss you all. I cannot not call so I am doing this update. Nothing has changed. Spread the word.

Vacation just a great place

This place isn’t worth your time or your money. They don’t listen to your concerns. They don’t give you the right meds. They won’t even give you the meds you’re prescribed. They do it as a job and no one care about the patient. I’ve heard this place is awful from many many people!!

Even tho had detoxed @home for 14 days prior to admittance, no physical withdrawals at all, Dr still insisted on a suboxon step down ( what addict is going to turn it down) . Men & women aren't housed together initially they spend hrs unsupervised watching t.v. together, ( not great idea to have males hitting on females who obviously have self esteem issues) this problem was reported several times to staff, there were no attempts made to stop it. The nxt step after X amount of days is moving to new leaf, where group meetings etc take place. Although there were no giant issues there, I don't feel patients fare very well after leaving, I know of 1 death the day after leaving from overdose, others are using immediately after release.

Chad Cummings

Place is an absolute joke. Had the dr come in and laugh about suboxone, and also made a comment about how I woke up him up from his sleep at 3 am to get admitted. (Not once did he ask about the way I was feeling or my issues)I was not withdrawing from drugs yet was about to start withdrawals from from suboxone which I had been on 3 yrs prior to enrolling myself. Also was not given my other non-narcotic meds was told I should have brought them with me. There group sessions there are an absolute joke as well, instead of giving you coping skills like every other program gives you they take you down to go paint pictures??? I wound up dismissing myself from the program because it was not helpful what so ever and enrolling into an out patient program that actually gave you coping skills. Do NOT recommend this place to anyone what so ever, for they are in it just for the money.

This place is the worst place! "VERY RUDE, STAFF THAT HAVE NO EMPATHY FOR THEIR PATIENTS" and could not keep up with their own head if it were not attached to their body! They lost a suitcase of clothes and stole a Cellphone! I have called and have left messages for supervisors to call me back, they have yet to return a call! I have empathy for the patients who are in this hospital. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! They treat the Mentally Ill awful! If you have a family member that's Mentally Ill I would steer clear of this Hospital.

All of the staff and Tecks was so sweet and helpful . Thank u to everyone even the Cafeteria workers for being so sweet to me . I was about to have a very bad breakdown . Til I went here . So many people touched my life there . Even the people that was there getting help too . I hope I touch some of their lives . And they will rember me .

The Infamous Nicholas

Not very helpful. Too many pills and not enough coping skills .disagree with scary movies around Halloween. Not a good source for children with high anxiety.

Jackie Skipper

I recommend it to the people who want help and needs to be treated for health and drugs and alcohol abuse! !! They saved my life and I am very much thankful for what they done for me and my family!! This place sucks for real I got a bunch of stuff stolen out of my room while I was there considering they don’t lock doors to your room and kinda sucks when you can’t be insured your stuff won’t get taken with all the nurses and staff on the hall

If I could give my experience here a lower rating I would. I was in the psychiatric ward. It's so poorly designed that techs watch your every move (no cameras in the rooms) so that means they're bursting in the rooms at night every 15 minutes. The nurses rely on techs to do eveything. The therapeutic groups were laughable. No books in the day room. Color sheets/puzzles have to be "stolen" from downstairs when in other groups. Often times we would play a game and then the last five minutes we would get a hand out and the occupational therapist would ask us if everyone knew why we had played the game today. Rooms are semi-private, but my roommate was nice. The ward is small... It's like a prison, and the fluorescent lighting kept me in a migraine. One of the nurses especially was very rude, and I never did get my hormones which I'm supposed to take everyday. I asked for a daily schedule, which is standard and was never provided one, so I had to memorize group times etc. No fresh air breaks unless you are going to the gym and that's for a few seconds in transport. There's a lot of downtime. Oh yeah, and I never once saw my doctor... Only his nurse practioners! I had a family emergency (my grandmother was critically ill with pneumonia and I am her primary caregiver) and I asked to AMA and I got word from the mythical unseen Dr. That if I asked again I would be put on a mandatory 72hr hold, which can lead to commital! This place only let me go bc of my bad insurance. But thank God I got out. Never again will I sign my rights away, because when you go into hospital for treatment, that's exactly what you're doing. Better read those papers. I wouldn't send a stranger off the street to this place. I left with my clothes in the wash, and the nurse told me there was no chance of getting them back. Lost a good pair of jeans too, which may seem like a small matter but when you're walking through Walmart in paper pants trying to get something to cover your body, you think of things like that. This place is about 20 years or so behind other treatment facilities in methods and facilities. If you want decent psychiatric care, try Pine Grove in Hattiesburg.

Patsy Rogers

I don't even what to give then a star I wouldn't refer anyone to this place

V.J. Anonymous

The worst experience of my life, you can't smoke, you can't go outsudr to clear your head. Jail with somewhat better food. Staff are very slow, if the company paid more they would speed up. Found the place unsympathetic to addiction and more like a mental institution.
