So, I have not officially met with Dr. Pearson yet but I called to make an appointment and was very shocked and impressed with the fact he answered the phone himself. He was very nice, courteous and professional over the phone and I have an appt set with him the beginning of January. My current doctor who I have seen every month for the last 7+ years is retiring in March. I was really bummed but after setting up my appt with Dr. Pearson I am really looking forward to it and I am a lot less stressed about having to find a new doctor. I will update my review after I have met with Dr. Pearson.

Dr. Pearson is very knowledgeable & actually takes the time to counsel me. The man truly cares about his clients. I would recommend Dr. Pearson & his practice to anyone. Professionally he is very, very educated & as a person he is a kind, concerned & courteous doctor.

During the 10 mon (or so) period I was seeing Dr Pearson, it became clear early-on that he posseses unique insight, the likes of which I, in my lat 50s, have never seen. When I needed his no bs advice to stear me right in how to manage my addicted son and troubles marriage, even times I countered him many times emotionally with doubt, he was always.. ALWAYS right about the outcome if I failed to follow through, vs the success if I was strong enough to go through with the plan. Since relocating, I have missed Dr Pearson's wisdom dearly. I considered him my "guru". None to match him.

I have to say he is very non-judgmental! He is friendly, easy-going, and gives you choices. He hasn't told me what to do. He has given me suggestions and asked if I think those sound like good ideas and things I can accomplish. I have only worked with 2 psychiatrists but I had a mistrustful relationship with one and Dr. Pearson is the other end of the spectrum.

Unlike most psychiatrists I've been to, Dr. P does actual therapy in conjunction with prescription medication. He does a lot more than throw you a pile of meds and push you out the door. And he does it well.
