Great doctor, great staff had me in and out 30 minutes.

Historical Dani

It's never once you go here and spend less than 2 hours waiting. He is a good doctor he doesn't really listen to your needs. His office isn't updated. No way to contact him besides seeing him. The receptionist are so rude it's ridiculous.

Donnie Sharp

The wait overshadows everything. 2+ hours no matter what time you pick.

Bill W

Joke of a supposed professional. doesn’t know how to properly schedule people and Understand the situation his Once patient has Experienced in life. This doctor is strictly in it for his wallet to get bigger. no compassion or feelings when it comes to the patient. not unless the insurance pays him enough for his ridiculous amount of pointless time.

Alisha Belcher

Yes, the wait can be long. If you're looking for a doctor and staff that truly care and are going to take whatever time is required to help you and make sure you understand your treatment then the wait time is worth it. I now see Karen, she's a physicians assistant and is just as kind, caring and knowledgable as Dr. Sack but the wait time is MUCH shorter. This place really helped me.

Josie Gueli

If you are looking for a good doctor then do NOT choose this office I have been o many doctors before and byyyyy far!!! Worse place if you are looking for good medical service!!!! This place is a joke and hopefully gets shut down!!

While Dr. Sack is a very phenomenal doctor, it is almost a shame because his office wait is RIDICULOUS. Even with him being such a great doctor, it does not make the wait worth it, unfortunately. My appointment was scheduled for 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:15. Around 4:15 I went to the front desk and asked how much longer it would be. I was told "unfortunately, at least another hour. If you leave your cell phone number, we will call you when we are ready." I did just that and went and bought a coffee. I came back around 4:50, hoping it would be my turn. Nothing. I waited until 5:15.... was told there were still 3 people ahead of me. FINALLY, at 6:15, they called me back. I then waited in the exam room for 15 minutes until I saw Dr. Sack at 6:30... THREE HOURS after my appointment time. He was a great doctor and I enjoyed working with him. When he asked to see me in 2 weeks, I said I will come back if I don't have to wait 3 hours to see you. His reply: "Unfortunately, the wait is always 2 - 4 hours. Try to come in the morning. Although I do have morning meetings which sometimes makes me run late." I checked out and asked to make an appointment in the morning and was then informed they are booked in the mornings until end of the following month. So I took the same time appointment just knowing I wouldn't be back. Dr. Sack must be taking 50+ patients a day and making them wait insane wait times when realistically, he should be taking 3-4 patients MAX.

Good doctor, but waiting to see him is like waiting to get on a universal studios ride during peak hrs. Took 2 hrs to be seen, my wife usually takes the kid, but I got stuck doing it. Hope they like the room hot, I was bored and set the thermostat to 90.

susan shepperly

Chelsea works in the office and she is great!

Lisa Phillips

I have been a patient of Dr. sack for nearly 20 years and he is, without a doubt the very best Doctor I have ever come across. I have read the negative remarks concerning the long wait in his office but it also is important to note that conversely while sitting in the waiting room, many of his patients and I have said that while driving long distances to see Dr Sack, he is worth every mile to get to his office and the wait in his waiting room is simply a minor inconvenience to see such a fine, brilliant Doctor as Doctor Sack is.

Tony Lopez

If I could give this place a half of star, I would. I have only visited this office once and that's all I needed to know that I'll never be going back. Dr.Sack is a great DR and very kind. But his waiting staff is extremely rude and the wait time is unreal! I felt like I was waiting to ride a grand opening ride at cedar point on a Saturday! They said hour to hour and a half but nope... 3.5 HOURS LATER!!! Then they send my script over to a pharmacy that doesn't have the mess until 10 days later. Honestly a horrible ran facility

Dover Pro

Dr. Sack is an excellent physician, he is very knowledgeable, always takes as much time as needed to answer any questions, and gives great advice that works. I know the wait can be long sometimes, but the results are worth it.

Elif Berberoglu

I have been coming here to get my prescription filled for 5 years. You would think that in 5 years, they would stop overbooking people. Or maybe find efficient ways to see patients that are stopping to see you for a minute or two for a basic refill request. You're nice, Dr. Sack (mainly Amy) and team (excluding the rude-faced front desk), but that's about all you have going at this point and I'm more disappointed at this point than anything else.

The wait is real. I am currently waiting in the lobby in hour three. I'm sure I'll wait another hour once I get into the examination room. When I question the staff about the miserable wait time, I am told to talk to the doctor about it. Meanwhile, I see multiple people who came in and have a wait time of less than a half hour.

Michael Cleland

Never waited less than 3 hours i had to make him my primary care doctor to get him to help me get off ativan. He did a horrible job of helping me ween off the ativan he did such a bad job I went through a psychosis and ended up with permanent brain damage i trusted him and he screwed me up for the rest of my life

Cassandra Dolan

Dr Sachs takes the time to listen to what I need as a patient he runs a little behind schedule however it's worth the wait.Family practice and psychiatry are available it's a one stop shop.

Eric Allen Eidemiller

Tim Larry

Great doctor if you are looking for pills that put you in the hospital. when you finally wise up and try to transfer to another doctor he will give you the 'ol 'your records are in the mail' or ' they are in storage'. quite a quack!

Aida Jalali

Honestly would NOT recommend. If I could give zero stars I would. I waited over 4 hours to be seen. It’s so NOT worth it. And the receptionist was super rude. I will not be coming back THAT’S for sure.

brad mullins

Great Doctor. You can call ahead to see if there running behind so you don't wait 4 hours to see the doc.

BEST & ONLY DOUBLE DRAGON DOCTOR IN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.

Truly cares about patients! Great doctor and great staff

I have seen Dr. Sack for the past 9 years. The best Dr. You can find. Its so worth the wait. Bring a book bring your laptotop whatever. I have never ever had an issue with the staff. The girls are wonderfull all of them. Audrey at the front desk is so nice and the girls that work in the back are experts at blood draws and I am not with good veins. I owe it to Dr. Sack that my life is so is great now. He straighten out my meds and he has gotten me through so many tough times Anxiety/depression. He is also a very compassionate caring Doctor. Highly recommend!!! ---Jill Hysolli----

It's kind of hard to rate this doctor's office. The girl's working the front desk & back is awesome. Like most I agree Dr. Sack is a good doctor. I've been a patient for 6yrs. But only been able to get in to see him 4 times. He has a physician assistant now & nurse practitioner you can get in to see if you can't get in with Dr sack. So its not like he doesn't have help. They both are good as well. Although I appreciate the new comfortable chairs in the waiting room. Like most I also agree the waiting time is ridiculously long. It always make me wonder who are these ppl that are been seen in the back b4 me,having me wait 4 & 5 hrs from the waiting room to the back room just waiting,& what are they talking about. Is it the patient's yapping to much or is it the doctor. My actual visit never take that long. I wait all those hours. Just for the Doc,PA or NP to come in and spend 5min with me,never more than 15, they're real fast, but I get everything I need and I'm out. You leave feeling good but annoyed. At this rate they should come up with an express waiting line like the secretary of state. For those who are trying to be seen but in and out.

Mike Hill

I've only had one appointment with him, but it's already been wonderful. I had an earlier appointment set but the wait was taking too long as I had to make it to school so I didn't miss any notes. But we set up a whole plan to fix the big list of bad medications my last doctor put me on. And honestly, I've never been more excited and motivated to do it. He's truly a great doctor. Just know you're going to have a long wait. I have to try to make appointments on days I know we won't be taking notes in class. But, his staff could be a little more friendly. Because of them and the long wait, I'm taking off a star.

Michael Yonish

Justin Daniels

Appointment time was 1:20p. I got here at 12:30, it is now just aftee 3pm.... still waiting

Kendall Rudolph

Doctor is great but the office staff suck and are very rude. You will wait at least two hours before even being brought into a exam room then they send in a doctor in training who then makes the wait even longer . He may be a good doctor but the hassle and lack of management at his office I would suggest a different doctor.

Zachery Wetzel

Do NOT go here. To many reasons to list....

Jason G.

The time spent in the waiting room is long, there's no mitigating that part. If you can, I would advise coming in the morning. It was still a long wait but it cut the total time down by about 75%. But Dr. Sack has does an excellent job properly addressing my complaint in its entirety in a very short span of time. Having had a handful of different PCPs in my adult life from moving, I know it's hard to find a physician who won't brush off your concerns, and doubly so as a doctor myself.

Sheree L. Brown

Great doctor when he finally decides to show up but the wait time is just ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. I waited in the lobby for 48 minutes, then 1 hour and 39 minutes in the patient room and STILL NO DOCTOR. This doctor has no regard for his patients time nor proper attentiveness. DO NOT GO HERE.

Mallory Chaffin

This is the worst medical facility I’ve experienced in my entire life. The cleanliness is laughable, as is their testing. I have mine done independently from them both out of fear of the environment/their equipment and out of mistrust for the accuracy. I got incorrect results from them and only got them corrected once tested outside of their facility. Doctors sit in the room with no intentions of listening. Medicines are prescribed against your wishes and concerns, and suggestions are immediately blown off, even after consult with more competent medical professionals. If I was impressed by the doctors then the wait times might be justifiable. However, you wait up to 2.5 hours in my experience just to receive the previously mentioned treatment. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who needs anything more than a sports physical

Juliet Ruffing

Dr. Sack is who you see when you’ve tried everyone else, or been told a recommended doc isn't taking new patients, or can’t give you an appointment for 2 months. If you have a baffling, seemingly unresponsive condition and no where left to turn, a few hours wait is a small price to pay. The office has been remodeled and he has a PA and Nurse Practitioner on staff to lighten the load, so wait times are a bit shorter and more comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his entire staff.

W. John Ruffing

Worth the wait. Highly respected and highly recommended in the medical community. There's a reason why interns are sent to learn from him: Because he's outstanding at what he does. He's compassionate and takes time with each patient.

Heather Cox

This is my first time here and I have been waiting for 3 1/2 hours and have not seen the Dr. Yet. I think this is so wrong if you can't schedule people write please let them know when they come they have a long wait. I'm only here still because I have some important questions but I will be finding a new Dr. After this.

Michael Barber

DO NOT MAKE APPOINTMENT HERE. If I could rate this office zero stars, I would. The wait time is ridiculous, they jam pack a small room with 5 or more students and expect you to feel comfortable talking about your issues with wide eyed baby doctors staring you down. When I do happen to see Dr Sack he tries to explain his method of prescribing medication, which is exactly how a doctor should not be prescribing medication. He has a bias towards cannabis, even though there are no studies to support his claims. Dr sack doesn't seem to understand, or care for that matter, which medications I do not feel comfortable taking because they have adverse reactions in any dosage. The only reason I'm still seeing Dr Sack is because I can't seem to get an appointment with a doctor in my insurance network. UPDATE: 11/20 My appointment was for 11:20am and I'm still sitting in the patient rooms at 3:40pm. Dr Sack and his entire office are the definition of unprofessional.

Sarah Jane

he is worth the wait, very thorough, and I have never had an issue with the office staff. They have always been very kind and helpful. I left and went to Henry Ford and it was a disaster, I was immediately back to Dr. Sack once I switched jobs and had more flexibility with my hours. Best doctor out there, thats why students are there doing their clinicals because he goes above and beyond for his patients. I won't ever leave again!!

Gordon Freeman

arrived on time , but 3.5 hours wait

Wick Jordan

I felt very comfortable talking with the doctor. He cares about his patients and is extremely smart. He dosent rush me out of the room and actually explaines everything to me.

Angie Pulaskey

The wait was extremely long but so worth it so far.. today was my first visit.. time will tell..

Would never change doctors after coming here, expect long wait times but worth the wait because of the quality of care they deliver. Love both Dr. Amy and Dr. Sack

Jon Johnson

This dr. Is a joke.

Jodi Dianna

Dr.. Sack spends quality time w/ his patients. He doesn't rush through the appointment. Therefore, there is usually a 2-3 hour wait...(Bring your phone or tablet and watch Netflix...) However, you can call ahead to see if he's running behind and they will let you know. The wait is worth it. He's a Primary & a Psychiatrist. What more could you ask for? I drive from Monroe County just to see him. Again, it's worth it...

Anti Dreamer

Honestly If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Every time I come to this doctors office I'm a treated poorly by the staff and I usually have to wait 2 to 4 hrs just to be seen. I am sitting here as we speak in a room waiting for the doctor and I have heard the one room next to me be seen by the doctor twice and then the room on the other side be seen. I have heard the doctor walk past my room several times. I've been sitting here for over an hour trying to get new depression medication because I've been on the edge. I walked out to tell the nurse that I've been waiting over an hour in my room and she just gave me a glare and told me that she will let him know. The only thing that I like about this place is that when you are finally seen the doctor he will pretty much prescribe you anything you ask for. Not saying that that's good but still. Do not see this doctor unless you wanna be treated poorly by staff and waste your life away sitting and waiting to be seen.

Angela Vessella

I came to Dr. Sack miserable, on 22 prescription medications due to a rather extensive list of ailments. Dr. Sack did what no other Dr. in my life had been able to do. He was able to bring me down to one (YES! JUST 1!) everyday prescription for management of everything! And, each time I went in with a new problem, he was able to diagnose instantly with exactness I'd never experienced in my life. In recent time, he brought on an assistant who knows her stuff just about as well as he! When she's hot a question, she consults him quickly. So, for everyone who whines about waiting 2+ hours to see this incredible Dr, just make an appointment with her! His office is a teaching facility, which he makes quite clear. The wait is long, which he does not hide. He takes as much time with each patient as necessary. Take a book and be ready to receive top notch medical care! In the four years I was a patient (I moved about an hour away, so I had to change my PCP), I had not a single negative experience with him nor anyone on his staff. You get what you pay for. And, we may invest a lot of time waiting in the office, but it was among the best investments I have made in my life!

Jeff Stefancin

Been here several times and NEVER SAW AN MD. Just informed we have to SPECIFICALLY request him. Really? The PA,and NP are very nice, BUT We signed up for a DOCTOR...HERE WE SIT, Unacceptable.

Draugr Undead

Dr. Sack is a great doctor if you have never been able to fix or decently treat a chronic illness, mental or physical. If you've been through a bunch of doctors and nothing seems to be working, see him. Otherwise, see one of his assistants, like Amy, or now Karen as well. They're fantastic and will get you in and out quickly, listen to you, and be patient and kind and explain everything. Dr. Sack explains everything well, but he will have you waiting for sometimes 6 hours. For some people, it's worth it to see him, but for us already diagnosed with things and just wanting to see a doctor for normal things, it's NOT. Source: I grew up seeing this doctor because my mom went to see him 15+ years ago and stuck with him because he found a treatment for her. I am now 20.

Cassie Dolan

Dr. Sachs listens to all of my medical concerns and treats me like an equal instead of a patient. The wait time is a little longer but that's because he takes his time with every patient making sure their needs are met. I'll be going to see him today and will continue to remain in his care until he tells me otherwise.

John Young

Michael Klein

A Doctor that actually listens and uses his vast experience to treat symptoms while emphasizing alternative treatments vs. being over-medicated. Practicing as both a DO and a Psychiatrist makes me very glad that a family friend recommended him highly, I took a star away due to the fact that it is not possible for him to treat as many patients that are booked per day, as cloning isn't at the human trial phase yet. But hey (as "they" say) - nobody's perfect.

Nour H

Dr. Sack truly cares about his patients and listens to their concerns. I have been coming here for over a year, and although the other reviews complain about the wait, it’s worth it to have a doctor that listens.

Jake LaFleur

If I could just rate the Dr. I'd give 5 stars, he's phenomenal. As far as the office with scheduling and the wait time... I feel i'd give that a 2... They offer appointments in all sorts of time slots, but the time your appointment is scheduled is far sooner then when you will be seen. I feel this is partially because the Doctor takes his time with each patient, but maybe he over books... Also, this is a shared office with a few other practices... I'm not sure but this may also attribute to the slowness. Still, I will keep seeing him because he is the best doctor than any other doctors I have seen in the past. *Edit. This doctor specializes in psychiatry, but he is very competent as a primary physician. The best way to maximize this offices potential is to use him as both. If you are not in need of psychiatric services, I feel you may end up being better served through a doctor's office that has a smaller patient load.

R S

I've been there about 2 years now and I can't say enough good about doctor sacks, However his staff which I'm sure is overwhelmed because I did work myself in a doctor's office. Have been extremely rude and their new policy of charging for no call no show, I had an appointment with doctor saks at 8:00 in the morning and I received a call saying he wouldn't be and tell 11:00 and I made the appointment knowing I had to work at 2:30 so I could not keep that appointment the next time I called for medication they said I was locked out and I would not receive medication and tell they received the $25... So here I never complain about a 5 to 6 hour wait Each time no exaggeration. They were in the wrong and they were going to with hold me my medication because of $25. When I was not in the wrong the Biller said I will do a courtesy even though I had the message on my machine of them telling me they needed to either cancel my appointment or reschedule It wasn't like doctor sacks was going to be 20 minutes late they told me to come in 3 hours later then they have the nerve to tell me they were charging me because I couldn't make it. Like I said I understand people cancel without reason which is not OK, but The things people do to see him and the wait and the Rudeness of his front staff we put up with . Really doctor Sachs losing a patient with how much you charge for an office visit losing a patient for $25 that your staff has made a mistake on. I think you need to revisit your policy and realize how much your patients are put through to see you and should not be treated as such with respect! After all my insurance and my recommendation are what keep you in business not your crabby RUDE STAFF.

jenni baney

You definitely need to be prepared to wait when seeing Dr. Sack, however he and his P.A. are amazing. I have been in severe pain for 3 almost 4 years and seen several different primaries and specialists with no relief. Dr. Sack is the first doctor to make a dent in my pain. (I'm no longer making weekly or monthly E.R. visits) They seem very optimistic about decreasing my pain even further and getting me off long term opioids. It's more than I have even dreamed possible for a long time. I am so thankful for this doctor and his amazing team.

Lee M. Rosenberg

Today marks the second time that I have sat for over 1.5hr in an empty exam room without any further updates as to when the doctor would be in to see me for a simple, routine 5-minute medication refill visit. The first time I came here was for a checkup on my Tourette's Syndrome, in which Dr. Sack entered the room with two medical students and began asking me very personal questions about my health without first asking my permission for the two students to attend. This was EXTREMELY awkward and very unprofessional. I was charged over $100 for the 3 minutes (yes, I timed it) that was spent glancing over my medical history, and I was sent off with a prescription over 3.5 hours after my initially-scheduled appointment time. The office is downright filthy - the toilet had feces on the bottom of the seat when I went to use the bathroom, and the exam room today reeked of vomit that was poorly cleaned-up prior to me entering. This is hands-down the most unacceptable medical practice I have ever seen in my life. I will be going elsewhere today, and I would advise anyone to do the same.
