I saw Dr. henry mulder starting in September of 2012 and just had my last ever visit today on march 30th 2012. Each month i told him the medicine he was prescribing me was making me feel weird, and each visit he just raised the dosage. After a long time of being on the wrong meds i found out i have bi polar disorder. He mistreated me and refused to refill the prescriptions i was supposed to have. Dr mulder is just out to make money off peoples mental problems. he was harsh, didn't listen to me, and made me feel just horrible.

Dr. Mulder and Renee are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and work together as a team to ensure you receive the best care. Without their assistance, I would still be in an abusive marriage with feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. I highly recommend them.

I have found the staff to be short and rude and not understanding at all, which is shocking for a psychiatric office. My daughter really needed her appointment, but because we were stuck in an accident and were more than "six minutes" late, she wasn't able to be seen.

Cheryl Samuels is a homophobic, self-proclaimed "Born-again Christian" who judges you, then "prays for [herself], not you," who potentially went through a traumatic event-- anytime she hears something she considers against her beliefs. I find this unprofessional and inconsistent with the basis of clinical psychology. Seek unbiased, more modern-day service elsewhere.

I was initially incredibly impressed with this office and it’s staff. Even after I was incorrectly billed, I wrote it off as just one of those things that happens in a busy office, requested that the bill be resubmitted to insurance, and moved on. Then I increasingly had difficulty scheduling appointments—I work third shift as a nurse and, when I attempted to explain this to the staff and that a late afternoon appointment works best, she attempted to schedule me for a 1pm appointment which I declined since, as I don’t even get home from work until after 9am, I would still be asleep. She sighed exaggeratedly and said, “Well, when DO you think you can come in?” That was still fine, I get it, my schedule is frustrating. But then I called and left two separate messages to have my prescription refilled, and it was never done. When I questioned this with my doctor, the reply was that, IF I had indeed called, the staff would’ve promptly called in the prescription. I offered to show my phone record, but the response was the same; essentially, I was being called a liar. There are too many providers in the area to have to put up with a place that makes you feel crazy for putting in basic requests. “Crazy” is most definitely not how you want to be left feeling from your mental health care. And it’s a shame; otherwise, I was gearing up to be pretty impressed with this office.

Alacarte billing. Charged $80 just to make a quick call to my Dr.

Quality establishment. Two of my loved ones are seen here and they love it. The waiting room is welcoming and comfortable.

I do not recommend this place. Dr Mulder misdiagnosed me, then gave me too many unessesary medications. He forgot to call my medications in to the pharmacy before a long holiday weekend, so I had to go without. Then when I called to tell him I didn't feel comfortable talking all the medications, he insisted on seeing me in person. So I made an appointment, walked in and told him I didn't feel comfortable taking them all, he said ok, then charged me $200 for the 5 minute unessesary visit. I highly suggest you look elsewhere before coming to this place.

I see Dr. Fox for psychiatry. Though he is not outwardly warm and nurturing, that doesn't mean he doesn't care. Dr. Fox shows some degree of tough love, but not in a harsh way. He just challenges you at times. I find it helpful that he doesn't always tell me what I want to hear. In my experience with Dr. Fox, he is sympathetic and helpful. One reviewer claimed that Cheryl is judgmental as a therapist and will try to push her religion on you. I don't know Cheryl, but I used to see Connie as a therapist. Connie is religious, but has a huge heart and will not impose anything she believes onto you. I recommend seeing Connie if you need an empathetic ear to listen to you.

This practice was incredibly unprofessional. I was prescribed medication, and the prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. When I called Dr. Mulder's office (after attempting to pick up my medication from the requested pharmacy, and being told a prescription was not sent) I was told that it had been sent to a different pharmacy. Upon going to that pharmacy, I was told by that pharmacy that they had not received the script either but that they did have record that the script had been sent to another pharmacy of that same chain, all the way across town. After 2 months and multiple visits, I was sent a bill informing me that I owed 100% of the cost of my visits and that insurance would cover nothing. If they had billed the first appointment on a timely basis, I could have rectified the situation, or found a provider that would work with my insurance. However, because they did not bill insurance until about a month and a half after my first appointment, I came for multiple appointments, unaware that I would be stuck with the full bill. In addition, I feel that Dr. Mulder did not provide me with a thorough examination. It seemed like he was just going down a list and did not ask me follow up questions on the information I gave him. I do not recommend this practice under any circumstance.

Staff goes above and beyond for clients and Renee has truly been a godsend. Highly recommend.

I found Dr Mulder to be condescending and overall unhelpful. He put me on a medication with really bad side effects and made me feel like I was overreacting when I told him my concerns. Super short appointments, always left feeling worse. Do not recommend.

I love PAWM. Dr. Fox is wonderful. I have always had a hard time trusting doctors, especially psych doctors, but Dr. Fox has earned my trust and respect. He listens and understands, and is very empathetic. He is non-judgemental and i truly feel like he cares about his patients. I don't care that i have to drive an hour every 3-4 months to see him, because he is worth it. I always pick up a few extra business cards to refer him to friends and family that are looking for a great psychiatrist, because i truly believe he is great. Staff is also welcoming and kind, always a pleasure dealing with them, as well. If you arrive early, sometimes they squeeze you in earlier if they have a cancellation or late appointment. I always call to let them know if I am running late, and i may have to wait an extra 15 minutes because if someone is early they will give them my slot, but they still squeeze me in every time.

Very disappointing service from this firm, both the ownership and the clerical staff. My doctor left the practice and when I needed a med refill authorized, the staff made it extremely difficult to get the answers I needed to have the prescription authorized. They seemed to enjoy the difficulty they caused, even laughing at a request to speak with the owner, Mulder, in an attempt to expedite the process. I was left with the impression that they are just a bunch of immature individuals pretending to run a professional office. Definitely cannot recommend. Poor staff selection and training is the responsibility of the management which, in this case, ranks near the very bottom of the scale.

I have seen two individuals at this location, and a member of my family also sees another at PAofWM. We only have extremely positive things to say about every single person we have encountered, and trusted to help us. Doctor Mulder is honest, factual, and exactly what I needed to help get my life back on track. He helped diagnose me and explain to me what it meant. He always answered questions, and was honest. I can't say how wonderful that felt, and still feels when I have to check back in. I went in really scared, and now four months later, I cannot stop talking about how visiting PAofWM has changed my mental health. I now am in control of my life, and credit it to the care I've received while putting my trust in with PAofWM. They listen and most importantly are knowledgeable. They understand the best way to treat conditions, and to use medication in a responsible way. I had to leave my own review on Google, because I saw the negative reviews before I went. It almost stopped me from trying out this office! I want to leave my own experience - which is that I literally haven't experienced one negative thing during my multiple visits and interactions with the staff and medical team!

The staff is friendly. I highly recommend Doctor Fox to be your psychiatrist because he is friendly, smart, and honest.

Dr. Mulder gave me my life back; he got me off the addictive drugs my previous doctor had had me on for years. He is a brilliant man, and I have the utmost respect for him. I would (and do ) refer him to any and all people. he will help you, not just give you the drugs you want like a previous statement read. when my grandfather was dying i asked for a small prescription of something to calm me down; he denied me and referred me to a counselor and upped my lexapro. he is there to HELP. and he did me. THANK YOU, FOR HANDING ME MY LIFE.

Paul Hazen

I was seen at this office once for a consult. I left feeling dissected and re-traumatized and I gained very little information or insight. Every patient-provider relationship is different and I can only speak from my experience but I will not be returning to this office.

PAWM leaves much to be desired. Dr. Fox is absolutely awful. I have never found it easy to open up to my psychiatrist, and Dr. Fox was NO exception. He doesn't listen, understand, or empathize with you. I felt judged every time I stepped in his ugly office. I drove an hour to see him each month, and each month he let me down with a 5-10 minute session during which he showed no regard for my emotions or general wellbeing. He's not worth it. I use his business cards as coasters and make sure my friends and family are aware he is awful, because he truly is awful. Staff, at least, were pleasant. If you're late, you may not get an appointment, but you're better off staying home stewing in mental illness than seeing a specialist who doesn't truly care for you. Alert: specialist believes benzodiazepines are only consistently used by addicts. He refused to prescribe my anti-anxiety medications on the basis of 2 a day being misuse. He strongly believes one cannot overcome anxiety unless benzos are NOT a part of the equation and wrongly insists one cannot work on coping mechanisms while taking benzos. Upon attempting to leave his "care," he wrote a note to my PCP stating I misuse benzos so I could not receive the help I need elsewhere. Dr. Fox has nearly removed my faith in psychiatric medicine, and I implore you to seek care elsewhere.

Mason Bassett

Great staff. Everything is better because of PAWM

Great place, very happy and comfortable with the team there.

**Read this** The first thing I want to say is about their cancellation policy. They charge you the ENTIRE cost of an appointment if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment. If you have any other life obligations and cannot make this office your #1 priority, I suggest you find a different office that may care. The next issue I had was with Dr. Mulder. I went to him for a diagnosis and to start medications. The first appointment wasn't bad, kind of awkward, but not terrible. The next few appointments literally lasted less than 5 minutes. I expressed concerns with the medications that he put me on and didn't really get any acknowledgement. One of the medications literally made me have so much anxiety I felt like I couldn't breathe. I got so frustrated I ended up going to my PCP. After this experience I have decided to have my PCP manage my medications. Moral to the story: DON'T GO HERE.

Corey Robinson

First impression on seeing the building they're only out for money this thought was reforced lqter after dealing with the front office staff. Here's what happened, I saw Dr. Mulder for a diagnosis which he to my understanding was correct about. But after making several attempts to call his office to cancel multiple scheduled appointments I was left talking to their answering machine and leaving a message after which I thought all was good. Two weeks later I received at letter saying I missed an appointment and now owed then money for missing said appointment. This occurred two more times, after calling them and explaining my situation and telling them I had left them a message the front desk staff refused to listen to me. I was forced to pay 190 dollars in missed appointment "fees". On top of this dr mulder prescribed me a medication rhat made my situation worse in the long run. All in all don't go here, this place is the worst.

Théa

UNETHICAL . They gave an unaccompanied minor a life shattering diagnosis only after seeing them one time, for one hour! They are only out for the money. They are seeking to create reoccurring patients at your detriment. Save yourself from these “Doctors” and seek help elsewhere.

Ariella Galloway

Dr Fox is the psychiatrist who I saw before I swore off medications for my depression. He dismissed all concerns about side effects, was condescending and I don't trust him, not with my mental health, and given my depression, I certainly don't trust him with my life.
