I wish I could give zero stars. This weasel should have his license taken away. My husband went for ECT and was nearly killed. Fox made him have 31 sessions. He kept pushing meds on him not caring what they did to him. His billing staff kept our payment and billed Medicare. Fraud? Stay away!

Hello! My name is Bailey and I am a 20 year old client of Dr. Fox’s. I was very surprised to see that he had a one star rating and only one review on Google. I have had only good experiences going to see him to say the least. He always listens carefully while I try to explain how I have been feeling, he is very good at simplifying big terms so I can understand, and he has always respected the fact that I bring my mother with me to my appointments. Also, my mom is a Clinical Therapist and knows plenty of people in the field. The reason I am seeing Dr. Fox now is because of all the great things she heard about him from her colleagues and other contacts in this field. I feel horrible that the other person that left a review had such a bad experience, but I do hope others read my review as well because I have had nothing but excellent psychological assistance and cooperation working with Dr. Fox!

People are losing their lives because of his inability to treat patients properly. I heard bad reviews of him prior to seeing him, and telling someone they are “fine” but end up almost taking their life the next week. He should be ashamed of himself.

Dr. Fox is a wonderful doctor, and after being his patient for four years there isn't one negative thing that I can say about him. He is very easy to talk to, and he will be very honest with you. If you want someone that will sugarcoat things for you, then he is not your guy. His office staff have always been kind and professional, and he has office hours that work with my busy schedule.

My daughter and I were seen by Doctor Fox many years ago. I chose him because he was an M.D. I assumed he would look into health issues that might be causing our hyperactivity and depression issues. He didn't. Had he run a simple blood test our genetic thyroid disease, Grave's hyperthyroidism, would have been caught then and there. Instead we were drugged for bipolar disease for a decade until I went into thyroid storm! I was given a 25% chance of survival. I lost 85 pounds in less than 3 months and had a heart attack. The disease attacked my eyes causing me to go blind for almost 6 months & need 4 eye surgeries to restore my vision. I have almost no memory of more than a year of my life. Years of PBA. The crying type not the laughing. I know I'm not who I was but I'm glad to be alive. I'm sure you can imagine the collateral damage; loosing our home my ability to work. One blood test. Imagine that... One blood test Would have saved my 11 year old from a month long hospital stay with a group of older truly upsetting teenagers. From depakote, lithium, and all the rest of that toxic "medication" I was forced by threats of neglect charges and the removal of all my children to make her take. If we'd been properly diagnosed and we'd seen to an endocrinologist the entire path our family has walked would have been healthier and obviously happier. It's taken years to be able to properly voice this complaint. I hope he reads this.

Dr. Fox is terrible. Prior to him taking over my treatment, I was hospitalized for lithium toxicity, although he has read the medical records, he is skeptical that this happened. Our sessions always ended in about 15 minutes, and his responses and prescriptions always seemed previously determined. He has zero empathy, I came in for an appointment and he asked how I was doing. I had just broken a tooth that day, when I told him he didn't even acknowledge it. After almost a year of treatment he still didn't know who I was, and was apathetic in obtaining relevant medical records. I felt uncomfortable every time we met. He does not tolerate patient advocacy. His offices billing practices are terrible too. Be ready to pay a no show fee if you call the day before, but no worries if he can't make it. His demeanor is more suited to euthanizing roadkill than helping others. Maybe he's just burned out, but Dr. Kevorkian had more of an interest in helping patients. Don't do yourself or your loved ones a disservice by becoming a patient of Dr. Fox.

Dr. Fox is the definition of insanity. He is uncaring, unsympathetic, and downright apathetic. He will never communicate with you directly unless you are in the same room, and to top it all off, he does not have a sense of humor, something that is quite welcoming in the tense environment of mental health. He will see you for less than 15 minutes to give you your medications before dismissing you from his haughty office with an aloof wave. He literally does not care or even listen to how bad your anxiety may be and will not prescribe traditional anti-anxiety medications in fear of patients depending on their meds instead of their coping mechanisms, something he sees as inevitable. It's almost as if he or someone in his family has struggled with benzodiazepine addiction - that, or he truly does not want to help anyone who suffers from panic. If you try to leave his care, he will create the illusion that you are a terrible patient and abusive of your medications to your future provider. Dr. Fox is a highly unprofessional specialist who I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

UNETHICAL - Dr. Fox creates patients for Himself by misdiagnosing them, prescribing medications not needed, and keeping them coming to see him without care or resolve. STAY AWAY. Seek care elsewhere. He harmed my child’s wellbeing to pad his pocket.
