My daughter went to this clinic several years ago the service I received was terrible. The "Doctor" stopped seeing my daughter abruptly and left he without medication. I had to take her to the hospital in order to get her medication until I was able to find her a more competent doctor. To me she seemed to believe that she was doing you a favor by seeing you. She was cold and unapproachable.

My experience with Dr. Massoumi has been an incredible one; I have previously been let down by other psychiatrists that always seemed to think they could diagnose and pill push after meeting with me for roughly 20-30 minutes. Dr. Massoumi spent 90 minutes with me; asked me anything and everything that she could to have a completely elaborate idea of how I was feeling and what could in turn be the cause of it. Her attention to detail made me feel more than confident that I was going to finally get the treatment and diagnosis that no other psychiatrist ever cared to deliver. Since my first visit I have seen her a few other times and, although I might have to wait up to 20 minutes past my appointment time – she never cuts my time with her down; this made me trust that she will always treat me like a patient and not another insurance payout to add to a booked schedule. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends and anyone else that has felt that they were failed by other psychiatrists; I am beyond confident that she would not disappoint.

I have DID and a history of trauma and many psychiatrists I saw in the past did not understand this disorder or thought that it did not exist. Dr. Massoumi is a bright shining light in a world that is sometimes overpowered with darkness. She is a breath of fresh air when one is struggling to breathe. So often, when someone is dealing with a mental health issue, they often stigmatize themselves with the thought that something is wrong with them or they are broken. Unfortunately, with some conventional psychiatrists, the also carry a stigma when the have to “deal” with these individuals. That is not the case with her. As soon as you interact with her, you can already “feel” the care and concern that she has for you and your condition. She is extremely intuitive and empathic. Her personality, her knowledge, and her genuine concern for her patients inspires hope. Dr. Massoumi’s integrative and holistic philosophy considered all avenues of treatment possibilities, from conventional prescription medications, herbs/supplements, energy therapies and even spiritual care (even if it is never discussed during the appointment). Not only does Dr. Massoumi help to improve the quality of lives of others, she saves lives on a daily basis! Thank you for doing what you do and working to teach others to do it as fantastic as you do!

As a male in his 40's, the thought of visiting a doctor for anything other than a physical illness seemed intimidating, emasculating, and ripe for anxiety. After hitting new lows, I made the commitment to seek out assistance. Dr. Hurley (part of Dr. Massoumi's practice), was selected and was the best decision of my life - and health. My initial appointment lasted several hours, yet felt like 30 minutes. He was extremely engaged and thorough. Follow up visits have also been very welcoming and a continuation of the great start. Seeking help was the first best decision. Selecting Daniel was the second. Can recommend him any higher.

I can honestly say that she has not only saved my life, but she has put me back on the path to having a fulfilling life. She is a little different than a normal psychiatrist and she might not be right for everyone, but genius is genius. I have been seeing a psychiatrist for over 20 years and she is the first one to get it right. She cares. She will get you on the right supplements and meds. It takes time, but she will guide you. She even caught the fact that I was diabetic when my general practitioner did not. If I could give her 10 stars I would.
