Dr. Khreim is simply the best psychiatrist in central massachusetts. He is extremely attentive and he listens to the questions, concerns and needs of his patients. From the first moment you meet with him, you will immediately feel at ease and you will feel like he truly cares about you, not just as a patient, but as a person. The only issue I have ever had was having to wait a few times, which is understandable as he's not the type of man to rush his patients out of his office. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Khreim!

Simply amazing; his knowledge, his compassion, and his willingness to listen and understand me. I've only been a patient for a few months, but he may be a lifesaver. He's an hour and a half away, and I happily drive there every appointment.

As of tomorrow, Dr. Khreim and Suzanne Anthony have changed their office location to Marlborough (the Shrewsbury office has closed), but don't let that stop you from making an appointment with either one. It's only a half-hour ride and the care is unequaled. I cannot recommend this group called Northwood Behavioral highly enough. They have been great through my ordeals of a lung transplant, losing my husband, changes in lifestyle, sickness, etc. Stupendous!!

Dr. Khreim is a good Doctor, but his office staff is horribly incompetent. The lady who does the billing is rude, incompetent, and extremely lazy and unhelpful. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but this lady is consistantly bad and always rude. Furthermore, most of the time nobody bothers to answer the office phone during office hours. They also fail to return calls. This place will cause you more anxiety then it will help. Please hire new supporting sraff!!! New patients beware...

I would very highly recommend Northwood Behavioral Healthcare and Dr. Imad Khreim. The office staff is professional and Dr. Khreim is tremendous. Dr. Khreim is kind, caring, and understanding. He really listens to your problems and addresses them and works on them with you. If you need counseling, he will refer you to a counselor. If you need medication according to the severity of your diagnosis, he will prescribe it for you. I have been seeing Dr. Khreim for a few years and have had nothing but positive experiences with him. I wouldn't dream of seeing anyone else. I would recommend Dr. Khreim to anyone. He has helped me tremendously. Gayle Shivick

Dr. Khreim is a very understanding and compassionate person. He truly understands the pharmacology of treating anxiety and has a wealth of knowledge. Very efficient and effective office. Definitely recommend him!

The office staff here sucks. They don't answer the phone or your questions. You need to email them and even then good luck getting anything accomplished. Took me three months to make an appointment and when. I did they got my YEAR OF BIRTH wrong. Pay attention people

Well I like Dr. Khreim. But considering I don't get calls back even when I say I'm off my medication and waiting on them, I'm very unhappy with this office. Apparently they don't understand that it's a LIABILITY to them if something happens to their patients, extremely unprofessional. They won't even call back to tell me they're booked, just nothing at all for weeks to months. I would consider this NEGLIGENCE. Mental health professionals should understand the risks when ignoring patients, not picking up the phone, not calling back, and not filling scripts. I will be going somewhere else for sure. Also, they told me to text them which is definitely unprofessional and odd for a doctor's office and even with texts they don't get back to you. The only option is going in in person and then they ask me if I've called or texted. Unbelievable honestly. I had no problems with this office for the first few months I went there and now it's been a horrible experience for months. I would strongly recommend anyone looking into it, to go elsewhere.

I received a list of psychiatrists that accept my insurance and Dr. Imad was on the list. I called early last week and left a voicemail asking for a call back so that I could set up an appointment, nobody returned my call. I called the office again today and left another voicemail to return my call, if I don't hear back i'm going to contact another provider. I'm currently being seen at another clinic where nobody answers my calls. I think that is unacceptable and is a concern when it comes to someone's mental state of mind. If I was a patient and was experiencing an emergency situation I'd want to go to a place that has better availability. I'll give it a few more days for a return call..
