Rude staff who can't even have basic levels of common courtesy.

Dr. Levy is an extremely knowledgeable psychiatrist!! He listens to all the facts, checks to ensure that the client is telling the truth about the facts, very knowledgeable on medications and making sure the patient is one the correct medication, bloodwork as needed, makes sure you have a therapist, gives a lot of different coping skills as well as reading material (articles, books, etc) regarding your situation. Excellent for kids also!! He was the one who FINALLY got my daughter on the correct meds and made my daughter FINALLY feel that someone was actually listening and believing her!!! All the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and always puts the clients needs first! I highly recommend this practice!

Sometimes it's difficult to get in touch with Dr. A. Levy, however, I like that my appointments with him are very in and out. Everything okay? Yes? Cool. Here's your scripts, see you in two months. A very painless process for a girl who is afraid of doctors.

After seeing my daughter for a least a year and a half, he still did not know how to say her name. I honestly think he needs to retire. If he hadn’t been the only local psychiatrist that would give my daughter the meds that she NEEDED we would’ve gone somewhere else. I felt like we were just visiting our legal drug dealer every 3 months.

Judgmental psychiatrist who can't even remember what you discuss with him and does his best to shuffle patients in and out as quickly as possible. You will spend half your session reminding and correcting him on what was discussed previous session. And his front desk ladies could use a little bedside manner, very rude. This is coming from someone who works in the mental health field. I'll be returning to my PCP for med management as paying a specialist copay for this mediocre level of care is pointless.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Levy since 2013. Over the years, we have needed to adjust my medication dosages and try different combinations and from these experiences, I can say he’s definitely an expert in his field, and has made me feel like I can trust him. He also makes me feel like he cares - on multiple occasions, he has answered my emails over the weekend and has gotten on the phone with me when I had questions in between appointments. He’s never made me feel like I needed a second opinion. In fact, when I switched to an insurance he doesn’t take, I preferred to continue seeing him as a self-pay patient rather than finding another psychiatrist who does take my new insurance.

Giving this guy one star is being generous. Very little grasp on basic ethics and consideration for the sensitive population he is working with. It frightens me that people like him are out there practicing psychiatry. Front desk staff are not friendly either. Consider this a warning.

I have been a patient of Dr. Allen Levy for a while now, several years. I have always been happy with him. My visits are always quick and easy, the waiting room is never full/uncomfortable, rather it feels safe, comfortable, and is a professional environment. I really appreciate how promptly I’m checked in, seen by the doctor, and am out the door! Consistently! :)

have been seeing dr. levy for over a year for bipolar disorder. he doesn't force drugs on me like other doctors & what he has prescribed me has literally saved my life. please google "Psychology vs. Psychiatry What's the Difference?" before booking your appointment.

Took my dad in to see him this morning. Staff was very pleasant but Dr. Levy left something to be desired. He wouldn’t let us finish our observation on what my dad was experiencing and kept cutting us off, stating “he only has so much time in his day.” He was very crass with my dad and even cussed at him several times. I even saw him playing solitaire on his computer, during our session, rather than taking notes. I went into the session with very low expectations to begin with (considering the reviews of his office), but was not expecting someone so incompentent. A thirty minute session and he did nothing to tweak my dad’s medications and left us feeling less certain than before. I would not recommend him if you actually want to he heard and have some resolutions to any medical problems you may be experiencing. We will be going elsewhere.

I've been seeing Dr. Levy for three years at first I was uncertain about how it would work out. Over the years we've tweaked my medications and found a combination that is right for me. In my opinion he is extremely down to earth which allows me to be candid and honest with him. The front desk staff is friendly and easy to work with.

Well to start off everytime I have went on there with my mother the receptionist have no professional at all. They need to be seriously trained on how to be polite. Second I can deal with waiting on doctors but not over an hour IT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! The third and last is for the last couple days I have been trying to get ahold of Dr. Allan Levy and NOTHING. I needed a prescription because I am going out of town and I am going run out. Why in the world does it say they are open until 4:30pm if NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE AND IT GOES STRAIGHT TO THEIR VOICEMAIL SETUP FOR ALMOST THE LAST HOUR.. SERIOUSLY NEED TO IMPROVE ON A LOT OF THINGS AND I HOPE YOU DO BECAUSE THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND YOU WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS THIS WAY!

Great staff that has always went the extra mile for me and my fiancé. ... Dr.alan levy has seen me without an appointment on more than one occasion when i needed to talk to him and has got on the phone with my insurance company when they wouldn't help me and got the job done.. Thanks to him and his staff. I am much better than i was 1 yr ago

Great staff, great doctor. Front desk staff have their days and can be a little uninviting, . But who wouldn’t when having to deal with patients with attitude all day. For the most part they are kind and welcoming.
