Finding effective mental health facilities can be very hard. Running one I bet I have no idea. But I had to look further than MPB group. I had 4 councilors in 1 year of being there. It was very taxing to constantly reopen traumas every couple weeks. I started to feel kinda like a was a lab rat. My biggest priority was to get a Dx evaluation and the doctor told me that it was not possible for them to do so. They eventually discharged me. So much time and money wasted.

IF YOURE THINKING OF WORKING HERE — BEWARE!!! If you love incorrect paychecks/chasing HR for your EARNED money, not being allowed to take EARNED vacation days, reprimands for being sick once a year, and passive aggressive emails from upper management- then you have found your match. The major downfall if this company starts at the top. The “HR manager” is in Hawaii, which understandably is not an issue, as its 2018 and telework is a thing. But when shes 5 hours behind and your paycheck is half of what it should be, being told to “wait until the afternoon and maybe she can help” is a bit unacceptable. Upper management is uninvolved in day to day operations due to unrealistic expectations from the owner, so its constant tension and attitude when anything is needed. The owner won’t even acknowledge you when she sees you, but will send a passive aggressive email to you when something is incorrect, rather than teaching you the expectation. The “new” office also has a multitude of issues with bugs, mice, spiders, and snakes (yes snakes) which are not addressed but masked with “traps”, so clients have to get bombarded with disgusting bugs while they wait. The owner will promise specific holiday days off, then at the last minute send an email that she’s taking those days back and will force you to work. On top of all of this, the turnover rate is VERY high, especially for admins. Training is nonexistent and when one admin leaves, you’ll be forced to pick up the slack. Which, as an hourly employee is fine, but you’ll be reprimanded for working too much and told to go through an entire months worth of timecards and let her know why you worked so many hours. The end result will be being put on salary so you can work for free on Saturdays at minimum wage. The “benefits” package is nonexistent, as the fellow admins are caddy and will NOT help you cover your shifts for any vacations, which will result in losing earned time off. On that same note, if you should get sick, the management will reprimand you if your fellow admin refuse to cover your shift by calling you irresponsible- even if you have the flu. The company needs to work on humbling itself and remember who are their key players are, rather than constantly reminding the admin they’re “just admin” and chasing them out the door just as quickly as they’re hired.

I called MPB to receive services. They didn't take my insurance, but they helped me to find another clinic. It's rare when people care enough to help you and go the extra mile.

I have worked as a Voice and Data Senior Engineer for MPB Group for over 20 years. I have really enjoyed the professionalism of staff and management at all the MPB Group locations. I really appreciate over the years the trust and confidence that the owner has and my ability to install, manage and service there voice and data network systems as well training staff and management on how to use them. I look forward to continuing to work for MPB Group and servicing and upgrading the existing voice & data systems as well as working on any new project in the future.

MPB is an amazing place! They have fantastic therapists who care alot about us as patients. The new admin staff is cool but they are extremely busy. If you ever have problems that you need to work out, you should go to MPB Group.

I've been working here at MPB Group for over 5 years now. It's one of the best jobs I've ever had. I enjoy being apart of the management team and I appreciate all of the support. The owner really care about life/work balance.

Wow worst clinic ever. Was a patient for a while and i left last month, appointments canceled all the time or moved and no notice, no one ever calls back when you need something, constantly an attitude by front desk girls as if them doing there job is a hassle and inconvenience. ran out of meds & my appointment with nurse was double booked couldnt see her for weeks and girls had an attitude. therapist always late and from the waiting room you can hear the girls talking about other patients and also there phone calls very unprofessional. also write down vitals on a sticky note. isn’t patients hearing other patients business a violation???? if you know whats good youll look elsewhere

It's hard to admit when you need help. But when I finally was able to admit that I needed help, I was glad that MPB was there for me and my family. They even have a spanish-speaking therapist.

This place is horrible and unorganized! I needed help for depression and anxiety and tried to get in to see them. When I came into my set appointment, they had no record of an appt and had to scatter to see me for my intake. Then, they scheduled a visit with a psychiatrist but no psychologist. I didn't go to my psychiatrist appt because why would I allow someone with no background info on me to give me medication?? They said they tried to schedule the psychologist appt, but them trying is leaving 1 message and then being impossible to get a hold of. 2 wks later, I get a letter that I was discharged! What the actual F This place creates anxiety. Stay away from these incompetent people as they will just negatively impact your mental health instead of treating it. Im honestly surprised they're allowed to have a practice. It's pretty bad

Wonderful new location. There seems to also be some new staff which is refreshing as well. My therapist (while young) was very attentive and easy to talk to. I didn't feel like a number.

Don Hough

The therapists are terrific, the staff extremely professional, and the support services are fantastic. This is exactly the type of place that I want my clients to experience!

I worked here as an admin staff. This was one of the best jobs that I've ever had. I left because I relocated. Yes, the HR person works remotely, but she gets the job done. MPB is flexible around time and scheduling and whenever I needed to take off, it was not a problem. The staff are fun to work with and the managers have always been supportive. Some of the therapist are high maintenance. Of course, everyone always wants more money... but that happens at every job situation. It is challenging to work with some of the clients, but you always feel like someone is there to help you. If you're looking for an admin job, make sure that you can work with the type of clients that they serve.
