I found Dr. Torres to be extremely unprofessional and not helpful. He acted disinterested when I was speaking in our meetings. For example he cleaned out a container on his desk while I was speaking. He also made me very uncomfortable with some of the questions he asked. For example, when I explained to him that I was in the process of selling my house and moving, he asked me why I would want to live in such a big house. I also felt as though I was the child and he was the adult as he lectured me as to how I was responding to my ex-husband. Instead of counseling me I felt as though I was being reprimanded for my behavior. Anyone who has experience with abuse/domestic violence knows that they are in a situation where there is domination, manipulation, control and gaslighting. I was in that situation. I didn’t need to be lectured. I needed help.

Dr torres started me on some meds approx 2 months ago and just recently denied refilling a prescription that is not a med you can just stop taking safely. Also scheduling is tedious and involves communicating via text msg with an admin assistant who is less then responsive. Finally, Dr Torres exchanged some text with me that were not very professional and upsetting giving the mental state I was in. Stay away.

Dr. Torres performed a thorough evaluation of my psychological condition and assured I was prescribed the proper medical treatment. He listens intently to my problems and always willing to assist me, if possible. Dr. Torres is a kind, unbiased and thoughtful person; who's helped me cope with some of life's daily stressors.
