Dr. Singh is very competent and successfully guided me to a workable prescription for my depression. That being said, however, everything about doing business here has been aggravating. The office environment itself is unpleasant; the waiting room is miniscule; I waited months for a new patient appointment; I could never get anyone to answer the phone; responses by email were slow or nonexistent; the appointments churn through like a machine seemingly without compassion. I think this is just the nature of the beast so-to-speak and may be the best one can expect from a psych business that accepts insurance. But again, except for the direct and limited service I received from Dr. Singh, almost everything has been frustrating. Good luck to us all.

Being the only psychiatric facility to even answer phone calls, have availability, and accept insurance within 20 miles of my area is the primary reason 3 stars are awarded here. The office is older, extremely small and cramped, and makes you feel uncomfortable almost from the start. You can hear patients in discussion with their doctors from the waiting room, you can hear people using the restroom (literally hear their urine hitting the toilet bowl), and it would be difficult for the receptionist to care less than she already does. They will attempt to charge you for EVERY single thing- a cancelled appointment, a rescheduled appointment, a medicine refill outside of your scheduled appointment, etc. They know quite well that their policies are ridiculous as the kind receptionist is happy to pass you a “dispute form” to fill out if you’re fooled into thinking they care enough to clear the charge. Dr. Rosse is the only positive of this practice, as he takes the time during your initial appointment to talk, listen, and give suggestions and answers to your concerns. Overall, a perfect example of the state of American healthcare— difficult to obtain, practically useless once you do, and all about the money.

I had my first appointment today and had a great experience. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. I saw Dr Rosse and he was very reassuring. I was extremely anxious about my appointment but he made me feel comfortable and seemed like he genuinely wants to help me feel better. He came up with a treatment plan and will see me again in a month. I also have an appointment with a therapist at the same office in two weeks He sent my prescription directly to the pharmacy which makes it much easier for me. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

The administrative staff is so incredibly difficult to work with. They send you alarming emails that your appointment has been cancelled without so much as a phone call - after you've been waiting weeks for your appointment.

Stop commenting on peoples right to get an education, it is their right and their choice. Stop telling people to get a job, especially if you're not helping them to find one or suggesting any places that may be hiring. It does not make you look big to try and shame other people, it only makes you look small and unprofessional.

This place was a mess right from the start. Unprofessional, completely disorganized, and for the icing on the cake, a major privacy violation that no one in the office cared the slightest about. So initially, when I called to schedule an intake, the receptionist was completely unhelpful. I was looking for a therapist who has experience treating my particular mental health issue (nothing exotic) - and the receptionist had no idea what of the therapists on staff had experience with it. But I figured whatever, I'll take who is available and if they weren't a good fit, I'd ask who in the practice might be better. Then, a few days before my appointment, I got a notification that my appointment was cancelled. Turns out that I had been sent an email and needed to respond to confirm the appointment, which would have been fine if someone had told me to keep an eye out for that. No one did, so the email went to the spam folder, and my appointment was cancelled. I called them as soon as I realized, and was able to reschedule. The whole thing was entirely avoidable, and cancelling an appointment with no warning is not exactly a helpful thing to do to someone with anxiety issues. The day of the appointment comes, and the therapist who does the intake is perfectly friendly, but completely unqualified to treat my mental health issues. I ask if any of her colleagues have the training and experience - and she had NO IDEA. You're getting the picture. This entire practice is terribly disorganized and thoroughly unprofessional. A simple question of "who here has experience treating [my common disorder]?" was meant with vague mutterings and shrugs. But the last straw was when I was leaving my appointment, and realized after I had left that I was given the appointment summary of another patient. I had her name, date of birth, insurance information, her mental health issues, everything. Mistakes happen, even major HIPAA violations, but when I turned around and went to return the document and get the correct one, no one was the least bit concerned. When your practice has violated a patient's privacy to this degree, it should be met with more than just a shrug. I'm assured that my paperwork wasn't given to anyone else. Do I believe it? I suppose I have to. This practice is a mess. GO ELSEWHERE.

Super nice but super disorganized.

Every time Dr. Holcomb writes a prescription for my kid, who needs a Ritalin booster dose during the school day, he forgets that the instructions on the pill label must match exactly with the instructions he put on the county form for the school nurse. He has his staff send the scrips to the pharmacy at the end of the day, after the patients are gone, so I don’t find out until I show up to get the meds that he’s screwed it up again, but differently. If the form says noon but the bottle says 1pm, the school nurse is literally forbidden to touch the medication. This time around, he sent a version of the scrip to be pharmacy with both the 1pm (during school) dose and the 4pm (after school) dose on the same label. The nurse can’t follow those instructions to the letter, so she’s not allowed to follow them at all. He wrote that scrip in mid-August, then took off on vacation for weeks, and his staff wouldn’t tell me when he’d be back. No other doctor in the practice would call the pharmacy to fix it. I couldn’t get through weeks without being able to give my kid his afternoon meds, so I had to accept the scrip as was. Ritalin’s a controlled substance, so Dr. Holcomb can’t just send in a correct scrip for me to pick up. Until October, I’m stuck taking time off work every single school day to administer my kid’s 1pm dose in person. This is not sustainable if I want to stay employed. It’s an unfortunate reality that quality of care is not separable from competence at wrangling bureaucracy. Quality of care is not separable from quality of clerical staff, either. Dr. Holcomb can be a fine doctor for diagnostic and treatment purposes, but if he consistently makes it impossible for me to both hold down a job and make sure my child gets the treatment prescribed, his medical prowess becomes rapidly irrelevant. I can’t change the scrip because I’m not a doctor. I can’t change the school system’s policy, because I’m not the entire county government. I can’t change the federal laws regulating Ritalin because I’m not the entire legislative branch of the US government. All I can do is lose half my work day to getting the runaround on the phone from MedPsych staff, driving paperwork back and forth because nobody wants to fax the school forms, and sitting in the waiting room for hours until the doctor takes time to speak directly to me. On the phone, the practice’s customer service model seems to be Comcast, with an absolute separation between the person you can talk to and any of the people who can do or decide anything. I am actively looking to replace MedPsych in the range of practitioners my family uses.

Have been seeing Dr. Makadiya for about 2 years. He was very helpful in finding medications that worked well for me with minimal side effects, and is personable and efficient.

Dr. Rosse is very approachable and professional he gets 5 stars. My daughter is currently seeing Ms. Judith Walker and likes her so that's plus. My daughters have been helped by the professional at this practice and for that I am so thankful. The 3 stars is mainly for the administrative side of the practice. The negatives are online appointments need to be followed up with calls or they might not happen. You have to come in for some med prescription refills. You don't always get a person when you do call....mostly a recording. One of my daughter's first appointment was double booked for the same therapist and the therapist was late by 30 minutes.

Edit: I’ve given them 2 stars instead of my initial 0 only because I think Veronica is a great therapist. As for Dr Singh... I liked her during my initial visit but every time I see her for an appointment she makes me wonder if she even actually cares about her patients. If things don’t improve with our visits I will continue to see Veronica and find a new psychiatrist elsewhere. Original review: Figure out your damn phone system. Everytime I call to schedule an appointment or anything it’s literally a 40 min wait and then after the 40 mins the system tries to make me leave a message or keep pressing the star button to keep holding. And after pressing the star button for another 20 mins it HANGS UP ON ME! What are you, a cable company ? It’s ridiculous. I rather go someplace where a human picks up and the wait times are 5 mins or less. RIDICULOUS.

This place has the worst business ethics. They do not show any concern or care to their clients. They don't care about the needs of their client. They demanded for the paperwork to be submitted to them two weeks before our appointment and when I got late on submitting those just by hours, they cancelled our son's appointment without giving regards on the negative impact left my son who is great need of help. They just care about the clients money! Shame on you all! You just put my son's health being in danger! Please just show come care to humanity and not just all about money! If you can't have the best business ethics at least try to achieve even some good business practice.

Meghan Cusack

I would give this place 0 stars if it were an option. All staff are rude, unprofessional, condescending, and could care less about your mental well being.

Jean Huynh

Dr. Rosse is the best Psychiatrist I've ever seen. I've had horrible experiences with other Psychiatrists and therapists in the past who were unprofessional and only cared about the time on the clock. Dr. Rosse takes his time to listen to your problems, issues you're facing and gives suggestions and support. There's not a time I was ever treated bad like how others reviews on here show. Give them a chance and make up your own opinion, don't let these negative comments sway you from a visit to this decent hard working business that's trying to learn from their past mistakes.

Amanda Bloxham

This is one of the worst organizations to choose for treating mental health issues. They are only in business to make money. This means trying to shove pills down your throat or charging you a $100 missed appointment fee for less than 48 hours notice which will occur even if 5 minutes outside the 48 hour window. I had a psychologist refuse to see me over a missed appointment fee, then she turned around and charged me another missed fee for her not seeing me at that appointment. This is not someone who is in the business to help people this is someone who wants to make money. I had the money to pay the fee but didn't because she refused to see me and I didn't bring my wallet inside. Tgis is a freaking joke and I wouldn't recommend these people if they were the last place on earth!

Lideiva Delgadillo

I have been coming here to see Dr. Singh & Judith Walker LCSW-C for over 4 years. They have always been caring and professional. I look forward to seeing them. If you make an appointment, make sure you keep it, because that appoinment could have gone to someone who really needed to see them. If you have questions about your medicine, read up on them. If you would like to try something different, talk to your doctor about it. Keep the lines of communication open. They are not mind readers. The receptionist Cassie, is also very pleasant. I would recommend coming here, despite the negative reviews. Try these people for yourselves .

Had a unfortunate experience in the practice. When I needed a refill of a medication I sent emails, spoke on the phone and had another type of medication instead of the medication I requested. For this reason I had an adverse reaction and ended up in the hospital. Sad for me because the practice doesn’t care about this. If you choose this practice be attentive and note that they don’t have a back up plan when your doctor cannot see you during a crises.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life and such a shame for the reputation of mental health practices. Go anywhere but here, I'm serious. I've never been treated so poorly in the past 20 years of working with Psychiatrists and Psychologists. My biggest regret was not leaving sooner. Anyone who has had a bad experience as well or has any questions please feel free to reach out and email me.

I do not know why this place has such bad reviews I had an oppointment with Dr. Holcomb he was very nice, heard me out and met me on a human level. He took the time to get to know me and figure out my strengths and weaknesses before prescribing any medication which is what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a psychiatrist.

Demar Gran

Great practice, I've been going for a few months now and have had a good experience. Overall very professional and helpful staff. After bad experiences at a different practice, I'm glad my pcp referred me to this practice.
