I felt like the place was both good and bad half the groups were recovery mental health orainted Ms.Veronica group was excellent and most of the staff was really good. Everyday you will also attend a group where they just ask questions and we answer where you just get Q and A.boring and meaningless point blank also they. Will not let you go places when you miss a group.Even when I attended groups they had me on the not attend.took 45 days to realize and fix this mistake.MANY THINGS where they should have the discipline that they try to put on us.

Do not come here please. Do not send your family here either. Staff is extremely unprofessional and talk about us "crazy" people. If you want to leave it's a big ordeal trying to get a ride to the bus station. They will not assist you in trying to get back to your home. Just , please do not come to this place. I would give it no stars if I could.

The programs themselves are great and some of the staff is top notch. However, there are rotten apples in the barrel. and I do mean the staff, Dan the one who's Sally's lieutenant. he likes to intimidate women to get his way on the campus. the best MHT there is Curtis, but many of them are a bunch of bitter workers who are frustrated because they cannot get a job above minimum wage. and they did take it out on us clients! anyway, do your best when you're over there, stay to yourself and graduate.

This place literally saved my life in late 2003. I read the reviews about the food sucking, roach infested trailers, and the mean staff, and all I can think is maybe these people aren't ready for recovery. You have to hit your bottom. My bottom prior to going to recovery was being around people that weren't very nice, sometimes I didn't eat (drugs were the priorty) or the food sucked, the closet I lived in was dirty....my god..I WAS DIRTY. I had to get humble and get real and progressive helped me. When I first arrived I had a huge chip on my shoulder, i hated the food, I hated the people... but I knew it was the end of my road. Progressive teaches you the tools and you apply them to your new way of life. Your not going to be treated as a special case. Get real. After 3 months I left and did daily NA meetings for years upon years and TONS of service work and volunteering. Life is so much different. My family actually wants to be around me and I ended up getting married. Until you have hit your bottom, no place is going to successfully help. You have to truly be finished (not want a break) in your mind with using drugs and want help. By any means necessary we all got high. By any means necessary, you get recovery.... even if that means eating crappy food. To anyone reading this suffering from addiction, there is hope.
