If you have issues with anxiety please don’t use this practice. The staff seem hostile and on edge, not appropriate when treating people suffering from sensitive mental issues. Everything about this place is rushed and disassociated from the patient making you feel insignificant and vulnerable. Dr. Aznaurova was extremely cold, superficial, and halfhearted in her approach to helping the patient understand his condition as well as the possible solutions to it. This place is a sad reminder of why we have such an issue with mental health in the United States.

I have had nothing but a wonderful experience at this office. The front desk staff has always been very helpful and patient, whether it's 6:45 AM or 5:45 PM. And more importantly, Dr. Andrew Segraves has really helped me over the last year. He has never questioned or doubted my symptoms unless he was trying to clarify something. He has listened to the input I have about the medications he prescribes me, and he has adjusted them according to my needs. I definitely feel like he wants to help me be better, and I feel one step closer to feeling normal again when I leave his office!

It takes me 30 min one-way to get to this office. It’s the only covered by my insurance. I showed up at 7:17 for a 7:15 appointment and waited in line for 10+ min. By the time I checked in the front desk told me I was late and had to check with the doctor. I waited for an hour for them to tell me he couldn’t see me. So for being two minutes late (stuff happens), I waited an hour and drove an hour to be turned away. Get another front desk person and schedule your windows according to actual appointment times.

Dr. Handoo is a very warm, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. During the intake, I had a candid conversation with him about my struggles with depression. Dr. Handoo took the time needed to truly understand my situation and make appropriate recommendations. He is up to date on all the research, which has been helpful in itself. knows all the up-to date treatments and evidence. Dr. Handoo, I sincerely thank you for your compassion.

These people refuse to see my significant other again because she missed two appointments. The first one was because she was in the emergency room, so that's certainly not her fault! She did forget the second one, but she's mentally ill! That's why she needs a psychiatrist in the first place! How can you expect a mentally ill person not to be forgetful sometimes? Keep in mind, this is after they've forgotten to send her prescriptions to the pharmacy on several occasions. But they expect their patients never to forget anything. When I called to find out what was going on and if she could work something out, they lied that their computers weren't working and they couldn't help me. I know it was a lie because my girlfriend called not a minute later and they were able to pull up her file immediately. Despite being a psychiatric practice, these people have no sympathy for the mentally ill. My girlfriend will be going through a lot of stress and severe withdrawals from being off her medication while we look for a new psychiatrist. Stay away from here and find a better practice for the sake of your own mental health.

This is one of the worst places to go there always behind running late you will most likely wait an hour and half even if you arrive on time. Dr . disagreed with my diagnosis I had with previous Dr I've seen for several years and she only saw me for 10 min......

Marissa Jones

Doctor I dealt with was moderate - nothing extraordinary nor anything appalling. Office staff is horrible - reason why I am discontinued my visits there & am pursuing other options.

S. G.

Call system is pathetic as others have correctly identified. Staff was hired at the low end of minimum wage - hence, the poor patient servicing, scheduling, etc. Doctors are sketchy ... 15 min time slot - herd mentality - get in, get out, get paid. Who cares if the meds or consultation was medically correct. Psychiatry in KC is sketchy in general. PAKC are the bottom-dwellers of the worst. Do they make any attempts to correct these things - no, why do that? Mediocrity has been working this long so why bother trying to improve patients' lives? Really a sad state of affairs for people who really need the care & concern. Go open a car wash; you'll at least adhere to the Hippocratic Oath! (first, do no harm)

Heather Heck

To sum it up go somewhere else. Nothing about this practice is good.

This was the biggest medical mistake of my life so far, not exaggerating. I waited almost 2 hours to get smirks from a judgmental old deaf white guy who told me i was a "difficult case" (anxiety and depression) and he wouldn't want to treat me, but i could expect him to refer me to someone else. I never got the referral. I left there in tears, sobbed for hours feeling shame and embarrassment. You can bet the bill showed up though! The lobby is set up like a lecture hall, uncomfortable cold chairs arranged in institutional rows facing the desk. They openly promote Chic-fil-A (a corporation that contributes large sums of money to anti-gay organizations) and right away if you're not an old white Baptist bible thumper, you are not taken seriously. The judgement is palpable. I'm angry that my family practitioner referred me to these snake handlers. And worse yet, i am terrified of trying to seek help now. I wanted to give zero stars, but couldn't write the review without clicking on one. So, one star for actually having the door unlocked during business hours. That is the ONLY positive thing I can say about this horrible business.

Victoria Kishinevsky

Dr. Tamano is wonderful! He is very well versed in his field, listens to my needs, knows how to best meet them and always respectful of my time. Thank you so much!

David Matson

Be prepared to be on hold for AT LEAST 10 minutes every single time you call their office! They have the world's worst and most annoying computer phone service EVER. Also, the staff seems very rude. They are obviously overwhelmed and probably answering phone calls every single minute they are there.

I told Dr Everson he was full of shit and got up and left. One week later he sends me a letter saying I was band from his office because of verbal abuse..

I met with Dr. Michael Everson last week during an emergency panic attack. He did not look at any chart or research what my background history was. He simply upped my current medication dosage, told me that he "would not sit with me and talk for hours", interrupted me twice, and rushed me out of his office in 30 minutes. He also said that if I had gone to the hospital during my episode they would've laughed at me. I felt extremely belittled and like what I said did not matter. I have never met with such a cold "psychiatrist" in my whole life and will NOT be going back.

Expensive waste of time. Dr. Ezranova was cold, condescending and over an hour late to both appointments. She refused to read my therapist's notes/recommendation and disagreed with my therapist's diagnosis after talking to me for 10 minutes. She scoffed at my trauma and flat-out said that it didn't sound traumatic to her. When asking about mixing medications, her response was, "it's your body, do you what you want." There is a reason she has appointments. The office staff was also extremely rude and unhelpful. Stay far away from this place. Yuck.

D W

Called four times to try to make an appointment. Waited on hold at least ten minutes each time and left a voicemail each time. No calls back. Good luck.

Danielle Berggren

I would give this place five stars for Dr. Eric Brown alone, but I do have to subtract one for their terrible call center. They outsource this work and the people you talk to are SUPER RUDE. Every time. Even though the place is busy and the doctor's are juggling a lot of patients, every time I go back I feel like Dr. Brown slows down time a little and is very present with me. I've heard good things about the other doctor's there as well, but I needed to give him a particular shout-out. Thank you, Dr. Brown!

Ami R

In the vein of other comments, I’d like to say that while my doctor is good, her office staff is absolute garbage. I made an appointment to see my doc as I needed a refill on my much needed prescription. Her staff scheduled me ON THE DAY SHE LEFT FOR MATERNITY LEAVE. Do they not have access to the physicians schedule? Are they this incompetent? PAKC needs to hire better staff or get a more efficient/up-to-date office-wide calendar because this some absolutely astonishing BS. Now I’m left considering whether or not to switch doctors because of this disastrous scheduling mishap. I won’t be able to see her for MONTHS now! My doctor and her staff could’ve sent out notifications to their clients about the circumstances. That way instead of wading through the flood of voicemails left by frustrated patients, they could’ve resolved this in an orderly and timely fashion without compromising care. The whole of the practice needs to understand that these easily avoidable incidents can direly and severely affect the livelihoods of their patients, particularly those who are most vulnerable because of their illnesses. Get your s**t together, PAKC.

Gina S

This office is horrible. The staff, unfriendly and the doctor would not let me talk. She would ask a question and when I started to answer she just kept interrupting me and asked another question. Very, very unimpressed.

I wanted to make an appointment with Dr Hamdani, but when I called the office staff was really rude, difficult to understand, unhelpful, and just made it a bad experience so I just hung up and decided to seek help elsewhere. I have read online in several places that Dr. Hamdani is outstanding, but I don't really want to deal with an office that is staffed with people who have no idea how to act toward patients. This seems to be a common complaint in the reviews online, so I would imagine they would get the hint, clean house, and restaff with actual professional people.

Z B

Staff in office will never call you back whether its billing or scheduling so be sure to stay on hold for the 20 minutes it takes for them to get to you or you will never be able to contact them. If for whatever reason you need prior authorization for your insurance to cover your medication make sure you hound the office constantly because it took me over 2 and a half weeks for them to do the paperwork for medication I needed. I was told that they had " Forgotten me" despite me calling after a week and leaving a couple of message with billing (Never returned) and talking with the office girls and then again at the two week mark when it took me contacting my doctors nurse and expressing how badly I needing this medication and how upset I was. This was the second time it took over a week to get this done. Make sure you bring up all concerns even if its little while at your appointments because once you leave the doctors nurse wont be able to give you any advice or help you if lets say... your hair starts falling out; their only reply will be "Wait for your appointment to talk to your doctor" (I got 3 of these replies when asking about serious symptoms). I am very disappointed with this office. They have caused a lot of tears and stress.

Christie Susan

The scheduling of the initial appointment can be difficult. With so many insurances available, it's no wonder that the staff can get confused about what is in and out of network. Unfortunately, my experience was met with no show of empathy and had immediately gotten defensive. As for the two Dr's that I'm familiar with... I like them. They are both knowledgeable and open to conversation about your health. I recommend my boyfriend's Dr Brown to people. I feel that he and my Dr have excellent knowledge of their field. Unfortunately, you must get past the misinformed scheduler to decide if these doctors can help you.

Haley O'Brien

I specifically asked the people at the check-in desk if I would receive a phone call to notify me of my appointment due to them being booked so far out. They responded positively saying they do call to remind each patient. The voicemail showed up 24 hours before the appointment. I don't know if I'm just misinformed, but every other office I've been to notifies within 48-72 hours, which gives a person time to check their voicemail. I got the voicemail an hour after my appointment and frankly felt a bit slighted that they wouldn't give the patient more time. I mean we are paying money for these services and if you feel "that everyone should be responsible for keeping their appointments and that you shouldn't rely on a phone call reminder" then why the heck didn't the lady at the check out desk say something more along those lines when I asked her? I nicely asked the woman in billing to request a refund this time and going forward I'd be fully aware of the 24 hr notification period. They responded with we don't waive the fee for anyone or anything. Wow.. what a understanding, considerate group of folks...

My 3 year old daughter would do a better job managing the front desk. Unprofessional, unhelpful, and grossly incompetent staff. Find a different psychiatry office, you'll thank me later.

Kevin Malherbe

Had one of the first appointments of the day and it took over an hour to see the "so-called" doctor. He kept calling people in that showed up after me. Skipped me 5 times.

They take the service out of customer service. The scheduler on the phone is rude, can't understand her. She needs a different job.

Jamie Lynn Patterson

I’ve been going here for about 6 months, Dr. Hachensky is very nice I feel I could use some more time talking with him, but I feel like that at most dr appointments. 2 months ago I got a refill on a prescription that had a different manufacturer, I didn’t take well to the change, so I went pretty much an entire month without the medication because I couldn’t take what they had given me, it made me feel awful. I had prescriptions that he had sent home with me for the month until I came back, so some things had to get switched around on dates and an early fill was done! “Rebecca”(1st nurse)was awesome! I feel she was very respectful and understanding to my situation. On my last refill (after the bad one) I had sent in another email asking what I had to do because my appointment isn’t until after I will be out of the medication, and the nurse this time was Very rude, didn’t even want to try and understand what was going on, I even asked for her to have Rebecca contact me because she knew what was going on. I don’t even think she tried! So I contacted her again a few days later. My pharmacy wants me to get the script in a few days before the fill date so they can get the medication I need, if they have to order it. She stated that my prescription is good until said date, and that should leave me with plenty to get me by! Not even paying attention to what I was trying to tell her, and the reasoning as to why it was like this! (The early fill date) I understand there are people out there that abuse these medications, I understand that fully, but to completely shut someone down and make them feel like they don’t matter at a dr. Office isn’t something you want happening! If I could have just talked with Rebecca and had she told me the same thing I would have been completely ok with it, is what it is. But to have someone pretty much categorize you, when they haven’t even met you, or know the situation at hand and didn’t even probably take time to talk to the other nurse to find out what “was” going on angers me! No one should be treated that way or felt as if they were being belittled at a doctors office. When you’re there for help & a little understanding. But Rebecca one of the nurses there is Outstanding, she made me feel content, and that I mattered! That they cared about what was going on! Not this one. I will leave nameless. I’d love to give it more stars, but 80% or the interaction is with the nurses when you have questions.

Clare Wilson

This office called yesterday and informed me in a hostile tone that the appointment I've been waiting MONTHS for "didn't go through". They obviously knew I had the appointment, because they knew to call, but they weren't able to explain how I could simultaneously have and not have an appointment. They also didn't apologize. I dealt with them once before, ten years ago, and left the practice because they failed to return three phone calls in a row. I was hoping they had changed their ways, but looks like that's a no. This is not acceptable patient care. Avoid.

Despite the negative reviews, I found the staff here to be very courteous and helpful. Highly recommend.

Adrienne Campbell

Dr. Mays is an amazing Psychiatrist We've had good experiences with the front office staff and we've been patients for many years!

Michelle Powell

Dr. Barash, from what I can tell thus far, is excellent. Unfortunately, the office staff speaks volumes on the poor rating of the clinic - they are disrespectful and talk to patients as if they are superior. As a nurse, I would never disrespect my patient's like this, history of mental illness or not. I prepared myself for this, as I had noticed the reviews prior to my consultation, however, I am thoroughly surprised after witnessing their behavior personally. It's a shame.

Tasha Smith

Have tried over the past couple months to get an appointment schedule for a family member and they won’t schedule or return calls. I can’t say anything about how the doctors are since we can’t even get schedule to have this family member seen. You would think doing this type of work they could be a little better about helping when some is requesting help. Highly disappointed.

Perhaps the previous reviews are older posts. My experience has been very good. Receptionists have been pleasant and helpful. My psychiatrist there is amazing; very well-educated, helpful, friendly, and compassionate. I trust in, feel very safe and well cared for.

Kyleen Fishwick

Dr Legg is lovely but I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff is unkind and unprofessional. You’ll wait at least 30-40 minutes beyond your appt time. If you have any challenges you will get escalated to Diane who has the world’s worst bedside manner and will threaten to hang up on you. There are much better options out there.

james nelson

I'm not sure why everyone is beating up on this place. Have you tried getting an appointment anywhere else? They're all 1 month + wait. Sure, I had to wait on hold for about 15 minutes but they were able to get me an appointment next week!

Carina Devera

I don’t have an issue with my psychiatrist, but The Receptionist really suck, while I understand they probably have to go through a lot when it comes to handling patients issues, they are rude. I called in cause of a scheduling error, and they automatically ASSUMED I was the one in the wrong when it came to knowing the date/ time of my appt. while explaining knownint the time, who was ever on the phone cut me off and would talk over me.

megan l

They never get back to you and, when they do, it's just to make sure you'll pay or come in a second time to fix a medication mistake they made instead of just faxing over the right thing. They didn't go over my diagnosis or paperwork from my hospital visit before writing me prescriptions and sending me off.

Jason Buckner

My doctor is extremely in rune with my newds, friendly staff, and open late for appointments with patients who can't come in during the day.

J Reinert

Dr. Brown is excellent, but you will spend a ridiculous amount of time on hold trying to schedule appointments.

Celeste Love

The only thing good I can say is my doctor is always on time. With that being said, it’s a turn and burn kind of doctors office. They care nothing about the well being of the patients. Shoveling pills your way only to get you addicted, then treating you like your a pill addict junkie! I have had anxiety and panic disorder my entire life and been in treatment for about 30 years. My doctor refused to write a letter for my emotional support animal. I mean seriously? What harm does it do to write a simple letter stating my animal is recommended? So I contacted my primary care and she wrote me one, no questions asked. If you’re just looking for pills, yeah go here. If you’re looking for a caring doctor to assist you in overall mental health, well you better go somewhere else! Good luck in your mental health journey.

pastypastel .

Pill pushers. They don’t care about the patient. They want to cram as many appointments as they can in a day to make the most $$$.

Shana Banana

Reprehensible client confidentiality practices. This practice has sent us monthly statements for our married, adult son for over a year. No return call by office administrator to address the issue. Billing records are not covered under HIPAA. Beware. If you are a patient at this practice you could have your billing information disclosed to an unauthorized third party.

Heidi Fowler

Do not come to this office. They are the worst. Front office staff is absolutely atrocious. RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. No one here is helpful. You have to wait ATLEAST 30-40 minutes AFTER your appointment time to be seen. When asking for help they act as though you’re speaking a different language. Waited until 1:07 for my 12:45 appointment, had to use the rest room so I asked the lady who they found off the side of the street working the front to let them know I needed to use the rest room and I would be right back and that it was already past my appointment time as well. I get back into the office and they say I was late so now I will have to wait. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! DO NOT COME HERE.

Beth R

Been seeing Dr. Everson for years. He's awesome--prompt, courteous, caring, thorough. Horrible telephone/appointment staff. Minimal 10 min wait time on hold, rude, curt, hang up before you can even say goodbye. Would give Dr. Everson 5 stars and appointment staff zero.

Brad Burroughs

Thank you front desk for great attitude Dr Eric Brown is a great Doctor!

Matt Nesselrode

Melissa Burns

The front office was nice at least the majority...However, my doctor is amazing he can tell you not only the diagnoses, but also tells the science behind it! It's so cool, especially since I'm going through a lot he can show the source of the issue. Thank you God for such an amazing doctor!

Emily Archer

Dr. Cole with make you wait 15+ mins after your appointment time but if you are 10 mins late they cancel your appointment (really great for depressed and suicidal patients). When you do get to speak to Dr. Cole for 15 mins, it's impossible to understand what he's saying. He will not tell you about any of your medications side effects, which nearly hospitalized me. You're betting off going to someone else.

Marti O'Connor

The front desk is rude and very unhelpful. Dr. Brown is a good doctor if you can put up with his snotty staff.

David Duckworth

Talked to Melody at PAKC two months ago making an appointment with Wade Hachinsky. Today, after driving 40 minutes, I anxiously went to my first appointment only to find out at checkin that they had no appointment for me. The office manager, John, came out later to tell me that they had no record of my referral or any of my paper work and that Hachinsky had no openings today to see me. He handed the seven pages of paper work that I had filled out for this initial appointment and said he was sorry and then did nothing to try to accommodate me at all. They lost all my paper work and he made me feel like I lied about making the appointment and dumped it back in my lap to straighten out. Melody had the referral in her possession while I was on the phone with her two months ago or she never would have made the appointment in the first place. Since they are sooooo busy that they lose my paper work and don't care to fix this problem, I will seek help elsewhere.

Elizabeth Sherman

Doctors-love them. Staff there- incompetent and need better training. When you have a patient on a high dose of a controlled substance and they have been out for days and try to talk to anyone because you've been leaving messages for days, they are untrained as to what to do. They just tell you to leave a message. Today I was hung up on for trying to talk to a person. Thanks for the help PAKC staff. Shows how much your patients mean to you.

Emily Armstrong

My daughter finished an inpatient program and we were recommended to follow up with Dr. Legg. She needed to be seen fairly soon for some help with medication. After calling four times in a week and being told that Dr. Legg had received the paperwork, but just couldn't look at it (nor would she pass it on to another practitioner), we finally gave up and went elsewhere. There was no compassion or urgency despite being referred from inpatient and needing timely follow up. It's been ten days now and we have yet to get a call back. Thankful we found help elsewhere- customer service here is bad.

Anna Francesca Garcia

I was just on the phone for 26 minutes for them to figure out that they could reschedule me one day later.

So sad and disappointing. Been trying to get help with bipolar problems for about 3 years. Pretty sure it's not going to happen here. If you just need to see someone a few times a year this might be great for you. Just don't expect anyone to see you on time, or explain what/why there prescribing. Let alone answer any questions in a real way. When I asked my current doc about what to expect about my length of absence from work, the person kind of laughed, shrugged, and uttered the "uh-ah-uh" Idunno type noise done folks use when they're being dismissive. But then I'm a lunatic, so...

K R

Extremely unprofessional and rude front desk staff. Extremely difficult to get through due to terrible scheduling department. Routinely transfers without your permission and does not direct you to the correct place. Horrible. You literally will go crazy just dealing with that staff. Completely unreasonably bad.

esen bee

Dr. Everson is not very compassionate or thoughtful in his analysis, which has led me to view his office as nothing but a pharmacy counterpart. It occasionally even fails at that, as there have been issues getting medication because both Dr. Everson and his assistant went on vacation at the same time. There was no notification that this would occur, and instead of being able to speak to someone else I was repeatedly given his assistant's voicemail.

tyler caudle

Banned me from seeing anyone in the practice for missing a couple appointments. Mostly all my doctors on my insurance's list are in their network or providers and they banned me. Very rude office staff. I just find it insane that they have banned people for missing appointments due to depression and location.

Nick S

I've seen more than 7 different (outpatient) psychiatrists in my 25 year life. Unfortunately, my illness is just difficult to treat. Despite going to several psychiatrists with stellar credentials, I've never felt like I've had my illness reasonably controlled. Dr. Sherman Cole was able to get it under control, starting at the first appointment! I cannot express how grateful I am to him. He is very compassionate, and intelligent. He wants a very thorough history. GIVE HIM ONE. He listens to every detail you give him and factors it into your treatment. The support staff could use a lot of improvement, but this seems to be more of a training/supervision issue than anything else. Most I've interacted with are good people, who are trying, but sometimes not in very efficient effective ways. I am happy to tipple check things with them, and hold their hand through some processes. It is well worth it. I assure you, they are pretty good for a psychiatry practice which is not part of a hospital.

Susie Letterman

My brother had a bad first experience with one of the doctors and front office staff..but after talking with John in office management, he was able to switch my brother to a very pleasant and caring doctor.- the young doctor Andrew Seagraves (not to be confused with his father in the same office). Thank you John, and thank you Dr Andrew! He looks forward to many years with you.

heidi hickam

Love the front desk people and Dr. Mays is amazing. Ignore the bad comments on here. Those people probably just didn't get the drugs they wanted or have bad attitudes. This place has always been great.

SANDRA HOLT

I liked Dr. Brown. It is the system they have of trying to get a message to, and rep!y from, the doctor's' office is the reason I won't be back. Two different times I've tried to get a message to Dr. Brown stating I needed a prescription. I did get an email from them but needed a password set up. Never could get it to work so that I could read the email they sent to me. I wrote them stating I couldnt get to the email and would somebody just give me a quick call so I could tell them what I needed. I never heard from any one. Now someone with a mental illnesss should have quick access to their doctor don't 'cha think?! I'm done with them.

I see Dr seagraves.. he listens to me and has me on the right things that no one else could figure out.. after a sudden hospital stay for my son he seen dr van horn and they got him on track but after the stay I had to get him in with Dr tomano.. he is amazing..taking him off what his previous dr had misdiagnosed him with adhd.. I love the doc but the staff is insanely rude

Hawly Wood

My husband and I had been recommended to this place by our GP and we ended up getting the father and son. However when a life emergency happened and we asked to reschedule the father said he would no longer even think about seeing my husband, and he wasn’t welcome to come in the building either. So I called back and left him a message that I wouldn’t take any help from a man who clearly only cares about money rather then his patients. And that I would NEVER step foot in his establishment. He didn’t even have the balls to answer my call but used his poor secretary to do a back and forth with me. So hope that girl found a better boss because that guy, is one of the reasons there are still people looking for actual mental health professionals who care.

Courtney Lindsay

My Doctor is fantastic but every single time I call the office I am on hold for at least 10+ minutes and all I need to know is the time of my appointment.......

Nina Oliver

Office staff is extremely rude. They should hire different receptionists that aren’t so cold towards the patients. Good luck trying to call them and schedule an appointment. They never pick up or call back!

Rob Prest

The only problem here is one of the schedulers in the front office, condescending and rude, and if they think they can treat you badly and get away with it they will.

Erin Reinsel

This office staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. Forget about calling to make an appointment you'll wait on hold for over an hour and finally give up. I can not stand having to deal with them and if Dr. Brown wasn't so awesome we would be out and never return. Dr. Brown should move to a new office, his patients might actually come see him more often. Psychiatry Associates of Kansas City you are terrible and have no sense of patient care.

Krisxan Clark

Was scheduled an appointment through a physician referral service. Found out later that the appointment that was scheduled would not work for me, due to a conflict. So, I called the office within 48 hours of the appointment to reschedule, and the woman I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. So, I found a different provider at a different office. If you're going to make a bad first impression on your clients, you can't expect them to stick around.

Kindra Auhll

I'm sad i even have to write a review. We have been going to Dr Vanhorn for 5ish yrs, we have been seen in last few months and now all the sudden we have an outstanding balance from Dec, which we have insurance and all the billing has to do is resubmit the claims which add up to about $600 and they refuse to do so. The insurance company tried calling the office manager to resubmit the claims and she refuses to do so, and they WILL NOT see the patient until its paid for so in the mean time she is without medication and is all out of wack and is the only one suffering from all because they won't send in the claims for them to be paid. They also sent the 11yr old to collections on this matter. So i guess the only thing we will have to do is get an attorney to try and resolve this matter, but just breaks my heart that the child has to suffer in the mean time. The people that run this office are very very rude and disrespectful and we have spent days, months, hours trying to get this taken care of and they could care less. Sadly this is what the mental health has came to no one wants to do there job. There is a reason they have a 2.7 rating. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE office staff... Not even sure how these people sleep at night knowing how they treat people and children especially...

This is a horrible patient experience and I can't even get them to bill my secondary insurance company. I have left 4 messages with billing because you can never reach a live human. They call at random times and I have missed the call. I keep leaving a message to bill the secondary and they call and leave a message saying to call them back. I finally called scheduling who immediately answers and explained my situation. They put me back in the voicemail for billing... Ridiculous. Our patient experience was even worse.

Dr. Everson is exactly what I want out of a psychiatrist. No chit-chat, straight to the point. He asks me how previous medication has worked and suggests something new if I am not a fan of previous medications. If I wanted a compassionate conversation, I would see a therapist or psychologist. Front desk can be disorganized at times, but nothing too unreasonable.

I would agree with most of the other reviews here, the doctor wouldn't let me talk, took a phone call and said our session was done. Extremely unprofessional drs.

Lisa Hulbert

This office is terrible about returning phone calls. My PCP was unhappy with my current Dr as she felt I wasn't medicated properly so I called and asked to be transferred to a different Dr in the practice. They said that they'd have to take it under advisement and I would know in a week if that were even possible. I never heard back, that was at least 2 months ago.
