This physician treated me horribly in 2012. He sent me out the door in a psychotic state, with no help. He supposedly dictated a guardianship letter that myself and my family never received. I have no idea what happened but all I know is that I could have been killed, as psychotic as I was. I have flashbacks, recurrent anger, and nothing but feelings of hate towards this man, intermittently. I'm hoping that things with his practice have improved. I'd like to sit down over coffee with him and give him a piece of my mind, but I have a lot to lose, in terms of my own career pursuits. So I won't do that. I donated a book to his practice the other day. Maybe I'll catch up with him one day, if I'm lucky. I'm working through my own anger, unforgiveness, and other issues that have resulted from this incident. It's been 4 years. You'd think I would have let it go by now, but this man severely wounded me, even inadvertently. I wish him nothing but the best of luck and suggest strong legal representation in the case of a suit by a patient, or co-worker.

I’m sure Dr. Hachinsky is a fine doctor but I will never find out. The office staff leaves MUCH to be desired! I canceled a first appointment 24 hours in advance, requesting a call back and did not get one. When I called five days later, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and told me they would have to check the voicemail to make sure I cancel the full 24 hours in advance !!! I couldn’t believe it. I’m a clinical psychologist in the metro area and was looking for someone to refill my medications and also someone to refer my own patients to, and that will certainly never happen now !
