My daughter was seen by Dr. Laird who frequently wanted to change medications. She was unconcerned with our feelings regarding this frequent medication change and ended up being hospitalized subsequently. The office staff was rude and unwilling to help as well.

Dr. Laird is an incredible clinician. She is always willing to meet clients where they are at and does a great job of joining with people to determine their needs. If you are looking for an approachable and knowledgeable psychiatrist, she is the right choice!

She listens, like actually listens. She requires you to do some of the work but any good doctor does. She is the first doctor in years that has requested lab work and checked my weight. I adore this woman, her only downside is that her practice doesn't take my insurance. But with how hard it is to find a good doctor those extra shifts will be well worth it.

Love, love, love Dr. Laird. My son likes her and he has made unbelievable progress this year in school! Very happy to have found her.

Sally Miller

Dr. Laird has helped me more than any psychiatrist I have seen in the last 20 years. She listens and truly cares and is an advocate for her patients. She makes it known that medication alone will not magically fix things. She is concerned about her patients as a whole, looking also at medical concerns such as vitamin dificiancies, thyroid disorders etc. which affect how psychiatric meds will work or not work. She encourages therapy and exercise along with other coping skills. I have never had an issues with her office staff.

I find it hard to even rate the Dr (who was actually just fine) because the office staff is the rudest I have ever encountered. I was truly speechless on more than one occasion. On top of that, she failed at her job and several times messed up or forgot about us. Please Dr. Laird, I don't know what she has on you and if she is family, but do yourself and all of us a favor and let her go.
