First place i called because of the reviews and the receptionist wanted me to call my insurance company to see if i was covered ,now i have blue cross blue sheld union insurance best of the best but what really bothered me was why was i supposed to call my own insurance company? Isn't that their job ? Im really sorry i didn't get to meet the doctor because yes they are very few and far between. But i ended up withan awesome one anyhow.

When I met Dr. Donato I was homeless, my car was repossessed, I was in and out of jail and on 3 active probations. I finally decided to seek help when I had my first daughter and knew I needed to get clean to put my life back together. Dr. Donato took me in her program and let me know from the beginning that if I wanted to get clean she could help me, but she didnt mess around I had strick rules to follow. Her program got me snapped back into shape, she held me accountable and kept close tabs on my progress and as she promised got me clean from my IV Heroin use! My life finally has a true purpose again. She helped make me a functional person and a very successful one at that. Since seeing Dr. Donato I have finished college, have a great career in the medical field, 2 brand new cars and am buying my first home for my beautiful family. Dr. Donato is a wonderful doctor. I've seen many doctors for my treatment and she's in my top 3. Most doctors are uncaring, self righteous, greedy and not very concerned with you or your treatment like they should be. It's few and far between that you come across a doctor like Dr. Donato.

Dr. Maria Donato is a physician who is a certified expert in the field of neurology. It is my opinion that she truly values and cares about her patients. The services she offers are second to none in current treatment modalities and knowledge, compassion, timelines, and professionalism. She has developed a protocol that covers every aspect of her specialized practice. She is on point with appointment times and follow up, lab and other diagnostics, physical and psychosocial assessments, billing and insurance issues, pharmacy issues, clinical research, and patient compliance. She is aware of how these processes work and adheres strictly to the standards and her developed procedure. In over 20 years as a nurse, I have never experienced a clinic run as smoothly and like clockwork. She runs her clinic completely on her own. The only exception is the delightful young woman who works in the lab and oversees specimen collection. Dr. Donato works as her own nurse, receptionist, billing specialist, office manager, or anyone else required to run a busy successful clinic. She holds herself to and maintains a very high standard of healthcare professionalism. She encourages her patients to hold themselves to a high standard as well. This is the platform she uses to achieve positive outcomes and success within her clinic. Dr. Donato is punctual. Her patients rarely if ever wait for her. She has established a strict cancellation/late policy. If she encounters a problem or a change is necessary, for example the weather or a holiday, she is proactive and does what is necessary to alert her patients and adjust the schedule accordingly. She is honest and upfront about her expectations as well as how her practice runs. She asks in return for the same honesty from her patients. Dr. Donnato is a compassionate physician. If there is someone who desperately needs to be seen, she will make time for them. She will do what needs to be done to take care of them. She knows the nature of the diseases she is treating and realizes that patients sometimes may need extra added attention. She is there and willing to help when those situations arise. She does not tolerate manipulation or coercion and for that I greatly respect her. She is steadfast in her belief of doing the right thing. The physical location she has chosen to hold her clinic is urban and underserved. Her presence is a great asset to the community and its patients. I highly recommend Dr. Donato to anyone who is seeking the services she provides.
