Jackson Leggett

Dr. David E. Sternberg, A medical doctor (M.D.), is a great psychiatrist who is certified by the ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) as an addiction specialist. He is very knowledgeable in the field of medicine and if you become a patient of his, he gives you his direct phone number where you can reach him via call or text 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I don't think I'll ever find another doctor who'll do that for his patients.

Dr. Sternberg is my hero. He is a licensed, Yale educated, professional psychiatrist. While you're Googling his past you should take a minute to read all of the different departments and programs he's been in charge of, as well as medical literature that he's authored, it's truly mind boggling. I had no idea, and I've known him 3+ years. What he was very upfront about was the trouble he got into over 20 years ago. Not an issue for me. Personally I understand that wealthy, educated people have just as much right to fall and rise again as anyone else. We are all human and allowed to make mistakes. Owning up to them and improving as a human being is okay in my book. Dr. Sternberg paid his debts, made his amends and has gone on to literally save lives. He also happens to be a highly intelligent yet relatable person. He is a rare find in the mental healthcare community. I understand he might not be for everyone, but he has helped me a lot.

If you call Dr. Sternberg, his recording states he has a few openings in the upcoming weeks for new patients and you are able to leave a message. He never answers the phone. He also never calls back. It’s been over two weeks since I left a message. My husband also called on my behalf and left a message. Pretty unprofessional.

He my saved my life. That's what Drs are supposed to do. I've been seeing him for 10 yrs. He has helped me in many ways. From managing my meds to grounding me when I got off my meds. I would of over dosed 9 yrs ago if it wasn't for him. Highly recommended.

Been with Dr Sternberg for almost ten years, I’m a fully disabled veteran.(combat). When the VA was not there and failed me he was there and has been for long time, he is fair and by the book and has greatly helped me through many hardships including brain injury and other combat and non combat illnesses. I highly recommend him to veterans and anyone who wants a solid doctor or psychiatrist with your best interests in mind.
