Unfortunately I saw Dr Barash inpatient and then tried to schedule a follow up - was told it would be 2 months. Needed to get in to get a timed injection and only offered another provider outside of the window of needing the medication. Was going to schedule that appointment anyway and there were all these requirements for paperwork and was told couldn’t get anything from my 25 days of inpatient stay ...very sad to have to do all the leg work and no continuation of care ... this provider and staff obviously doesn’t care about patients and their full treatment.

Dr. Barash is brilliant and he knows his sh*t. His bedside manner, however, leaves much to be desired. If you don't mind arrogance, or value quality of care over warm fuzzies, you won't find a more knowledgeable, competent physician.

Impossible to make an appointment. They never answer their phone. You will wait at #1 in the que for over 10 mins and then get directed to a voicemail. Good doctor. If you can get an appointment. Mental health is a serious matter. It should not be so complicated to make a simple appointment with a doctor that you have already been seeing. I can only give 1 star for a doctor that I cant even see to help me. Good luck.

I don't usually do reviews but wanted to let informed people know that this practice is our lifeline. I have never seen nor hard working people. It is shocking that I can schedule an appointment with Dr Barash around my availability, which is often after 7pm. I asked his office staff about the internet feedback and asked why they don't encourage their longstanding customers to leave feedback and they said that only angry people and former staff leave feedback. Well...I am a happy customer and love this practice. Thank you.

Dr. Barash is honestly the best Psychiatrist I have ever visited. He sincerely seems concerned about my condition, uses active listening, and is emotionally involved when I talk to him. I do not understand the people who dislike him and his practice. Yes, he is involved with Signature Health and that is not a negative. In all fairness, he is dealing with some of the most difficult of mental health issues and I firmly believe he is doing a great job.

I feel Dr. Barash has no compassion. I felt he was judging me instead of listening to my problems and trying to find a way to solve them.I felt rushed during my 'appointment'. I dont recommend seeing him. He works at Comprehensive Psychiatric Associates and the the staff is also a nightmare.

DO NOT trust these people with your health or the health of your family. I was so disappointed in the practice of Dr Barash. He was uncaring and appeared to only be recruiting people for in/out patient treatment at his Signature facility. His staff was disgusting in their lack of basic courtesy and concern. The are just a money hungry psyc chop shop. You can see as soon as you walk in the door the level of "care" they provide. thier waiting room is dirty and chaotic. Thier policies are to ensure cash flow and not to help or treat anyone. Dr Barash should be ashamed of himself.
