The doctors perscription is a total joke and he doesn’t change it after a bit of success and just spends all of the appointment talking non stop about stuff he’s a stuck up jerk and chooses to use his past success on every one else the last time he actually took time to evaluate the patients situation for a while was a year ago I don’t think he knows what he’s doing he can’t even realize when something needs to be changed we had success for 3 months and then it all failed. I personally don’t recommend this guy to anyone.

This is a professional and comfortable setting. The front desk is very polite and soft spoken. The staff is completely non-judgmental. It is a very safe environment. Jenny West and Lisa Ditmer are very educated and kind individuals and are the only two existing specialists that I have had the pleasure to work with. Jenny is more compassionate, caring, and a kind-hearted spirit and Lisa is more of a matter of fact personality, an excellent listener and asks great questions which can be extremely helpful in getting another person's point of view/angle on a situation. I have nothing but respect for this establishment. Highly recommended. The office is a bit dated, but the rooms are very comfortable, private, and low lighted.

If you really care to get quality care, stay the Hell Away from this place. If I could give Zero Stars, I'd have. Let's see, 1. The Not-So-Good Doctor Kavalier is Rude, domineering and sneering Piece of Work. He looks at kids and adolescents like something the cat dragged in. He seems to be a special fan of discipline through mean and hurtful behavior towards the kids. He LOVES to Prescribe Nimenda for every issue at the drop of a hat. Nobody Outside of Iowa has ever prescribed an Old Age Dimensia Drug to young kids and Teens as much as he has. 2. The Office Hours are listed 8 am to 5 PM. but they will never I repeat NEVER pick up the phone until 10 AM. they will stop taking calls after 4 PM too. 3. Getting in touch with the Nurse is a Draw of Luck. The Nurse only listens to half of your voicemail and instead of calling you back for clarification, goes ahead and discusses only what she partly understood with Dr Kavalier. then she'd call you back giving you incomplete and wrong information. As if that's not enough, she won't call you on the number you left in the Voicemail. Instead calling your home number, which you won't get until you're home and she's gone for the day. It just goes on and on with the phone tag. 4. The Patient Billing is handled by Dr. Kavalier's son. (Hence the name Associates ? ), He's extraordinarily rude, impolite and unprofessional. He point blank refuses to talk to the Insurance, just submitting the claim online incorrectly. In my Case, the insurance said, they'd approve if he will call them with the additional details they needed. He refused to do it. So I had to do a conference call myself just to see that through.

One should be prepared for critical-thinking psychologists that do not hesitate to give you truth and options for your situation. Not only do they handle children's cases but also adults. I have personally been going to this office for ten years and they have worked with me every step of the way. If I had a concern they would take the time to speak with me or contact me as soon as possible. The care is integrated with your regular family doctor per your request. I feel as a whole firm they do very well.

Was given a perscription with 5 refills from the Nurse Practitioner and in those 5 months following I decided to take the medication as needed (it was xanax). I stopped going here bc my insurance wasnt covered and dont like to be on pills but needed them at the time because of intense family struggles. A year goes by and I still have about 60 pills left that dont expire for another 6 months yet the nurse refuses to sign the proper paperwork to “okay” me for a new career. They are almost highschool like and caddy; just because I didnt see them afterwards. The receptionist is incredibly rude and unhelpful and the ARNP Jenny West has been of no help despite knowing everything I have been put through this last year. Terrible place.

Have been going here for years with my son and without going all through all the bad places we have been Jenny west is amazing she listens to what has really happened and all my son has been through with certain meds totally recommended this place
