This is absolutely the worst patient practiced I have ever experienced. I was misdiagnosed, put on medicine which has made my life miserable and riddled with side effects, have now high blood pressure, gained 40 lbs, high blood sugar, and muscle aches and spasms. I have been refused multiple times a second opinion, and am forced to take an injection without getting to take medication by self. Also, the doctors and staff refuse to transfer my treatment to the county I reside in. I have began to record the doctor visits, and plan a possible law suit. This is not my personality to speak ill of such a place, but if its help you need seek somewhere else. Also, they have called the sheriff that came to my place of employment because I rescheduled days ahead of time an appointment causing me to miss two weeks of work. Absolutely the worst treatment I have and will ever receive. They neglect to better themselves by reading proposition 22 and educate themselves on todays standing on mental health published by mental health america. Recently the doctor told me she is only keeping me on this medication because of scrutiny and because of insurance purposes. I am a business owner and this has ruined character I have built up for a success. Disappointment does not describe the scrutiny of the last year of my life due to the doctors ad staff and the University of Iowa, which disappoints me being a prior student and athlete at the university of Iowa. Thank you- Robby Storm
I recently was committed from my out patient service provider to inpatient, causing me to miss work for more than a week, this Offer was done prematurely due to me having a future scheduled appointment I was adhering to. While at the emergency room I was hand cuffed treated poorly by doctors and administrators. They made a mistake and had given my personal belongings with 600 dollars in cash to another person and there standards have continued to spiral down. I would avoid what seems to be this struggling unit with in the U of Iowa.
