This place is awful. Staff is rude. They dont treat. They held my grandmother not once but twice, they were the only place a court order could send her I guess. She both times in a state of psychosis was held until she seemed to come out of it, thrown some anti-depressents and told to follow up with her dr. This place is an insurance scam.

I am giving my opinion because I had a nice in here and I do not do not understand why is facility that you're trying to get help for your niece or nephew or for your children or whomever that you can pretty much abuse and neglect them in there but when you try to get out you called Child Protection Services on them that's just completely crazy if you are establishment that you were trying to get your child help or whatever aren't you supposed to help them and their family not tear them apart and give them diseases get them right get them whatever yes I've heard all of the above and I am completely disturbed by what I have heard and I think you all need help or you need to shut down one of the other because this is just completely wrong and yes it's not just one child I've heard this from its more than one child and that's just complete craziness so yes I will completely share this on Facebook so every parent knows how bad of a place this is and how bad of a place they should not send their child to I have heard that it's filthy you guys do not keep it clean I have heard that children have gotten diseases from your facility I have heard that you keep the children drugged up completely so you don't have to deal with them this is just craziness and you all need to shut down and the only reason I gave you one star was so I could actually say something about this nasty-ass place I don't you guys don't even deserve the one-star but I had to do that so I could actually say what I had to say

Options provides great customer service. Always greeted with a friendly smile.

Judy Edwards

Steer clear...it is pitiful and misses the mark a thousand miles.

Johnny Hardin Jr

Most of the 5 star reviews on here seem to either be from some kind of medical facility, who have never spent a night in the care of Options...Or just downright BOTS...Maybe a combination of both, but certainly not actual patients.

Gabriel Richardson

It just give me what I really need and made me comfort

Solid communication with staff and patients

felt like i was going to cry because it was nothing but punishments. they put the boys and girls together and the boys were so awful. we were constently sent to our rooms, the food was ok, the staff were trying their best. eventually i had to speak up. IF YOU GO HERE MAKE SURE YOU SPEAK UP!!! IF YOU DON'T YOU WILL NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME. I hated this place. it was also dirty. shut this place down and go somewhere else. please.

Hailey Ricci

I got a lot of help here. Yeah the food was gross and it took me more then once to get the help I needed. But isn't that what it takes? Not giving up? Not throwing your life away because you feel there is no cure for yourself? I got the help I needed and I hope anyone that needs help goes here... the staff there were amazing and I miss them bunches.. I don't know where I'd be if I never went there.. actually I do.. I'd be dead... so thank you options for the great journey I had while getting treatment.. and thanks to the doctors I found my disorders, and as for the staff big hugs because no matter how much bad stuff happened there you never held grudges.. and plus listening and dancing to the radio was pretty lit

I was shipped to this facility after suffering from homicidal and suicidal ideations once I refused to sign paperwork (paperwork that was read to me at my local hospital and not shown to me ever yet bared that I refused to sign). Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the facility was a mess as well as staff communication and protocol. For instance, I asked one nurse about the sign out procedure and he told me I needed a nurse to sign out. When asking another, he was able to give me the information I needed. While I did receive some new coping skills from group sessions, I would also have to admit that the groups were inconsistent and lacked actual methods of personal behavior assessment. Most of my ability to reflect came from time of sitting alone all day to reflect that I never wanted to come to this place again because of the disorganization. Also, I wasn't notified of how long my stay was (my local hospital only told me overnight) and therefore was in the same clothes for 3 days, not given a hygiene bin or the knowledge to notify my mom that I needed clothing. The only positive things I can say about this place is that some of the staff (specifically a few techs, nurses, my therapist, and nurse practitioner) are considerate and they fed me. I will more than likely escalate the problem with this facility to the appropriate people and have them get these issues rectified.

Jessica Geiger

Ive been here four times as a patient and they treated me horribly, and the facility was not sanitary, the staff liked to put their hands on the patients, and make racist remarks, so however I will not be going there EVER again for help.

jessica ruzicka

This place definitely helped me with my mental health problems I wanted to say a huge thank you to the staff and making me feel as comfortable as they could well letting me focus on my mental health only thing I would change was the food for dinner was cold most the time other then that overall was good and I got the help I needed

karensflowers

Horrible place. Very unprofessional nurses, if they are nurses. They do not wear RN badges and refuse to prove they are nurses. An aide was pretending to be a nurse. The nurse had not given my daughter her meds and she had not eaten in 24 hrs.

Heidi D

Spent a week here when I was 17. The rooms were filthy, staff was cruel, and the doctors were all jokes.

morgan nicole

The place was terrible. No real "groups"..just a lot of coloring sheets and crosswords. False advertisement on website. Heath inspectors should definelty go check it out. Facility's cameras don't work. The place is filthy. It made me more suicidal then I was before. Terrible place.

I went to Options in June of 2016 when I was 15 years old. The nurses didn't care about the patients and would actually purposely try to upset certain individuals for their own entertainment. And when someone responded by acting out, the nurses would put them in a "hold"- meaning they would twist the patient's arms backwards, up behind their backs, almost pulling their shoulders out of their sockets even when they were crying from pain and begging them to let go - and they'd give them a tranquilizer shot and put them in their beds. The therapists showed zero emotion or interest in anything that patients wanted to speak about; mine actually just sat on her phone and didn't even respond to me during our one-on-one session, displaying no interest and not caring at all about anything I said. The nurses were nasty and mean to us, and would insult me and the other girls in there with me. I did not get better at all while I was there, and after 13 long days of telling my situation and saying I couldn't go back to it because it was dangerous, they sent me right back to my situation without a care. I was better off in my terrible home situation than I was in Options for the 13 days I was there. Do not let your loved ones go here. It is a terrible place.

Kellie Allen

Absolutely horrible place. The doctor was ridiculous, 2-3 minutes a day. Completely understaffed. Little to no heat or hot water. Food was horrible, everything tasted and smelled the same. All of this for a mere $750/day. Not a single change in my medications. I wouldn't trust these people with my dog!

My wife was moved from an assisted living facility in Noblesville to this facility for about a 10 day stay. This facility was lacking in communicating with the family, in providing a safe environment for those staying there as the on-set of heavy bruising to my wife was considerable including to the face and upper torso which was not evident prior to her short stay at this location. From what I was able to see the facility is not providing so much of a care environment as it is a lock down facility to control those with behavioral disease. I would not hope to have to use a place like this again for a member of my family and would look extensively for another treatment center before even considering to use this location. I was not happy with the facility's physical decor, it's apparent lack of adequate medical staffing or it inability to provide useful treatment for those controlled within their walls.

I spoke to the insurance company about a treatment center that provided a pool and sauna for my mental recovery. I was disappointed to find out that they do not have a pool. On the other hand, the air conditioner has been out in the summer for over a week...so I got my sauna. Whew! Modern problems require modern solutions. Thanks Options.

Very poor excuse for a place that is supposed to help people. Filthy establishment scolding hot water to bath in room or bathroom never cleaned while there. The list could go on and on!

The health system in this country is a complete tragedy. We pay millions to keep the sick as sick as possible and these types of places do the bare minimum in order to collect money and then send their "patients" out into the world no better than they were when they arrived. This industry has become desensitized and the supposed social workers and therapists at this location should be ashamed to hold a license. When a woman is recovering from drugs and is a threat to her own health due to her terminal illness, the last thing you do is "treat" their pain with narcotics. I am a recovering addict, luckily with a strong enough mentality and the strength from God to pursue a better life for myself. Don't ask which health care or rehab facility I went to because it doesn't exist. For others, like my mother, who suffer with a terminal illness (alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency) it is much more difficult for her to keep hope. At the very least it should be mandatory that patients are treated as individuals instead of continuing to offer the same generic systems and treatments for everyone. We are clearly all wired differently but it seems that this is most often missed in behavioral health. You have done your part in sucking the money from her and keeping her as mentally ill as possible so that she may end up again, paying you for your poor services. Sending mentally ill patients from this location in cabs to unknown locations should be illegal. You are taking lives away from families. My mother went to school for nursing and is one of the most intelligent women I know. Unfortunately with her illness she has suffered from depression, and thank you to this industry, she has become no better. All this industry has done, has treated my mother with more medication to become addicted to and kept her at this low mental state of mind. Our country needs to focus more on treating minds with compassion, and genuine care than dollars and profits. We should be ashamed as a country to allow this type of treatment for addicts. We turn an eye pretending like the addicts are the lowly humans of the world and that they have some tragic illness that may or may not be resolved. Then we pat ourselves on the backs for a "job well done". These addicts are doctors, nurses, and executives. They are humans that deserve more from us. This health system has failed at addiction.

A pleasure to work with!

MOST of the staff legitimately cared about our well being. You get to smoke cigarettes, which is an incredible rarity among mental health facilities. Myself and everyone on my unit highly enjoyed the food. All in all, I came out much better when I went on. Shout out to David, Anthony, Brittany, Melissa, Dr. Art and especially Norman. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of psychiatric care.

Lena Newburn

The psychiatrist was worthless, spent five minutes with each patient. His only question was are you feeling better. The first day, the nurse tried to give me someone else's medication and I noticed the pills were not the right color. His name was patrick and he didn't even acknowledge he made an error. Worst hospital ever! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Christopher Bollton

What a horrible experience for my loved one at this facility. No hot water for showers, dirty facilities with mouse droppings all over the floor. Do not send anyone you love here.

This place is great. It helped me with my suicidal thoughts and let me know my life matters and how to cope and deal with stress. It is one of the best places to go and I would totally recommend it.Staff is friendly and caring, clean and you get a lot of privileges.I was in for 6 days and it was one of the best time I had being in a hospital

Amin Contreras

This place it so ridiculous, there’s no communication. The doctors are rude. I will not recommend this place at all. My daughter was there for 2 days. I never got a call from any doctor , I call them and they dint know where my daughter clothes was. It has been a horrible experience, please don’t put your kid in here. Go North they are better. Plus I came to pick my daughter up and I was here at 4:30 and they told me that they couldn’t give my daughter till 5:00 pm, I mean who does that. Horrible but horrible...

Pretty much clean besides the ant problem. Doctors are a joke. Just a few of the staff will treat you like a human being. Food is good though. Never had any pillows. The beds in the pictures are a lie.

My daughter was a patient here for 8 days. Very little communication with us as her parents, gave her an off label medication for a disorder she wasn't diagnosed with. Food subpar as she is a vegetarian. Only met/communicated with the psychiatrist when we decided to take her out AMA. Nothing but group therapy on the weekends and she learned no coping strategies to use after discharge.

This place is one big $$$ scheme!! They are using insurance allowances to their advantage by creating unnecessary appointments, and diagnoses. Don't take your kids there unless you don't want to see them again. During initial interview if they deem your child needing "services" and you opt to not do it they report you to CPS. Of course I'm sure everyone that comes in there they can find a reason to need "services". What a joke!

becca rector

The staff is very unprofessional. They just want your money!

Breanna Adcox

i really love how the staff cares for everyone. they really genuinely want to help you and i think that means a lot

Always accommodating. Quick to respond to our needs and fantastic patient care!

Lycia McQuilkin

I signed a paper during admission that stated I do not want my daughter on psych meds, she was offered meds against my wishes. My daughter was sexually harassed by a female patient who kept kissing on her, the boy patients made sexual comments to her, making her more uncomfortable. No one told me they were being sued bc a couple had sex in the bathroom and the girl patient claims rape! Staff told my daughter that I never called which made my daughter feel even worse, I called everyday but there’s only one hour that you can speak w patient by then the phone line is busy. Angela the therapist blamed me stating in front of my daughter “you need to make her a priority” how dare her, I kept my mouth shut to get my child out of there. My daughter and her aunt that visited started saying “make her a priority” which sounded like brain washing and of course scapegoating me, the Mom instead of finding me support. We got no referrals or follow ups, they called cps saying I was strung out on drugs and neglectful, I had two jobs! If I was such a neglectful parent and the environment was deemed dangerous, why release her early and to me? I voiced my grievance on multiple machines and no one contacted me so I will voice them here. Multiple patients were taken in by ambulance, I could’ve drove my child but it’s all about money. My daughter had to give two urine samples in a styrofoam cup wout a lid, she carried it to the front nurse station. She loved the food bc it tasted good w a variety.

A place my team can count on when we need help.

Most staff were very unprofessional. The building is run down. There were a few good staff members, but the bad outweighs the good. I would never recommend Options to anyone.

My son was sent here in January for depression and anxiety, no one communicated with me at all what was going on with him, the Dr. didn’t see him till the 2nd day he was there, and he didn’t get any medication until day 3. It was impossible to call and talk to my Son. On day 2 I decided to sign him out of the hospital against medical advice, went to the facility, signed the paperwork, and gave them 24hr notice I was taking him home. I received a call from the social worker on day 3 (the 1st attempt at contact on their part, even after many voice mails and messages that I left), and she had no clue I signed the discharge papers the night before, and she couldn’t find it. She had to look for it, and found it still sitting at the front desk. She then asked me why “I” hadn’t scheduled a “family meeting” with social services because they typically have one within the 1st 3 days the patients are admitted to the facility. I explained to her this was the 1st phone call I had received from anyone at the facility in 3 days! She tried to apologize, and tried to talk me into keeping him there for up to another month! I told her I was picking him up and taking him home that day. They treated me and him both like a criminal, and did absolutely nothing to help him. Now, 6 months later (he is doing much better), we find a bed bug infestation in his bedroom! He never stays the night anywhere, no one else he knows has bed bugs, and his bedroom is the only room in my house that has the infestation (which is being treated, and now under control)! Options is the ONLY place he has slept away from home in more than 1.5yr! If you can avoid it, please don’t send your child there! Choose somewhere else. St. Vincent has an amazing outpatient program that worked much better for our situation, and communication with ALL parties involved are a high priority!

I was here for about a week it was really nice the staff was so nice to me and the other kids. The food wasn't the best but it was good on certain days. They gave me a stress ball and I still have it they also gave me a journal and I still use it they taught me a lot of coping skills and still use them now and I stayed there 2 months ago I made friends there to and they had things for you to do during the day they has activity's like gym and art they also had books but you can also bring your own you get nap time to and a room mate which me and mine were friends and they helped me get settled in I recommend this to you.

NO!!! DO NOT LET YOUR MINOR CHILDREN GO HERE! Listen parents, I am a father of 4 children and my youngest recently was pushed here by Riley hospital. Yes this is an assumed name to protect her identity but I will be happy to leave a direct email to me. They will medicate with Psychotropic drugs within 3 days "because insurance wont cover an extended stay otherwise", yes I was told that. They administered the meds against my orders then tried to claim that I agreed via conference call to that....when I reamed the RN on Charges ass for this they basically said "oops" then they tried to pen it on my ex-wife who actually signed a "no psychotropic drugs form". Its a mess. My daughter said that the conditions are deplorable, the treatment and counseling is non-existent. This is a "Cash for Kids" type facility. If you dont know what that is, please google it. They physically beat my daughter because she was "non-compliant", honestly it was because they knew I was about to show up with my legal team and film crews. I managed to pressure her release after 3 days and outside of their "policies", they knew and know I have them by their balls so letting her go was a smart move. She is being treated at St Vincent now...Thank God. Her mother and I will be pursuing to shut this facility down ASAP. If you or anyone has a similar experience please email me. We will get a class action suit started immediately.

Kaley

Absolutely pathetic organization. DO NOT SEND LOVED ONES HERE. This facility is an absolute bullshit troll hole for money. There is no "behavioral health" happening here, just prison like discipline and borderline illegal physical and mental neglect. Apparently HIPPA laws don't apply here either, considering they're willing to give patient information to anyone who calls up and asks. Absolutely disgusting excuse for a mental health facility. Avoid this place at all cost.

they drugged our dr with drugs she was far too young and small for. they did it without our consent. Dr Davis couldn't be troubled for an explanation. as the RN at the facility "scott" stated (on a very recorded phone call) "the dr doesn't have time to review every patient individually.". When we required the dr call our childs primary car dr, and two psychologist to ensure his new and and very wrong diagnosis fit her actually needs(her dr's words not mine) instead of calling them or us we received a call from our very drugged crying child that she had been told she was being kicked out because we refuse to allow them to treat her. I would have believed her to be lying except they (tameka montgomery) then called and released her without being able/willing to give an explanation.. in 5 days she got 0 individual therapy time 0 of the meds her other 5 dr's had agreed upon, was given drugs that her family is know for rejecting in dosages 3x larger than were needed for her other family member with the exact same illness thare adults and weigh 2x as much. I would define what they did as child abuse in multiple ways. From a couple ounces of potato and a mini hot dog for dinner, to over medicating a tween girl with meds that her chart showed she has negative reactions to. No on who loves their child should take them here, or even allow them there.

Great staff, quick to reply back!

Rachel Golliher

Terrible experience for my loved one who experienced psychosis for the first time in his life. I feel so awful for taking him there. I took him while he was having a psychotic episode. While we was there they told him he had experienced psychosis caused by stimulants, but none of the doctors or therapists ever even explained to him what psychosis was or helped him find any resolution. Instead they continued to confuse him by not giving him any information at all. The receptionists never even told him when I called even though they told me they would leave him a message. This was the worst possible place for him to go to while he was going through all of this, leaving him more confused and frustrated. Not only did they never give him any information about what he was experiencing, but they were overmedicating him without telling him what they were giving him. If he said he wasn’t feeling good, they would just increase medication, instead of listening to how he was feeling or asking him any questions. Now that he’s been out for a couple weeks he’s been doing his own research and getting his own clarity about what he had experienced, but I have no idea why that wasn’t something they could do for him here. DO NOT take your loved ones here—it certainly is not a safe place for anyone going through a severe mental disorder!

Chris Green

The staff was compassionate and caring. The best staff members there for my stay was Miss Virginia,, Miss Vivian and Mark the nurse! Thank you to all the staff from the bottom of my heart!!!!

Alex Minton

Seeking help for a family member and was hung up on because I guess the lady jenn or whatever was not done speaking to her supervisor tracy. Tried to complain and this supervisor refused to transfer me and was going on how jenn could not hear me but i was saying I couldnt hear them in hopes the ladies discussing patients information on the line with me would stop but was hung up on these 2 women have no rights in the mental health feild and should be in trouble how they discuss patients.

Mason Parish

I'm thankful for finding this place. My son was in bad shape and they turned his life around. Thank you

tammy swart

It was for a family member care was appropriate. Front staff was excellent while I was told nurses and some technicians rude. Very clean. Food was not that great because weekend, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Operating with staff off (understood). Safe small and medication for detox was good.

catherine stilen

DO NOT let your children go there. My daughter was there a few months ago. She is completely traumatized and no longer sleeps. She was in with boys who would steal her and her roommates underwear. She was felt up by a homicidal boy and they told him to stop, but was completely afraid after that. There was a girl threatening to beat up and kill her and her roommate. Also the nurses are terrible. They told my daughter and all the kids sit down shut up and don’t breathe wrong when she want doing anything. They do not tell you what is going on at all; no communication. They did not tell me my daughter was going through this. She just finally told me. I signed my rights away for them to take care of my daughter and protect her especially since her was going through a mental break down. They failed and now I am speaking to a lawyer.

Brittany Harrison

Amazing!!!

Rick Heaberlin

Took my granddaughter in for depression. The only thing they where interested in was getting her on heavy drugs so the insurance would pay to keep her more than 3 days. They proceeded to treat her with heavy drugs against and without parental consent. Took 2 days to get her transferred to a place who looked at her instead of how much they could charge insurance. Kids for cash is what theyare.

Bill W

Quick and easy to work with this facility!

Jr Gibson

My experience was wonderful. The staff was very kind and actually cares about your behavioral state. Before prescribing me medication, I spoke with several people who then got together to choose the right medication for me. I was always scared that institutions would just give you anything but here, they actually prescribe what is best for you. This facility is clean and does NOT treat you as a prisoner. I was very nervous when I first arrived because I didn't know what to expect and this was my first time being admitted to a mental institution. There was a mixup regarding the medications that I was taking at home. Before you arrive (if you're able) please make sure that the pharmacy that you use for any medication has the correct dosage and schedule listed. Doing this will ensure that all you're prior medication is still given to you. I would recommend this location to anyone that needs help. The food is also great here!!

Beth Staton

Horrible horrible facility!!! Stuff doesn't help in any way! Filthy too. They gave me someone else's medication 3 times. They handed me one pill that I'm allergic to and it said that real BIG on the front of my chart. Most employees, from the director to the techs, are completely incompetent.

Chayna Renee

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS OR PARENTS HERE! Being there was the worst thing that has happened to me. Terrible. I still have nightmares about it and it has been years. The doctors and staff screw up people's meds and harrass the patients. They make one patients problem, everyone's problem. Just please, for the sake of someone who has never been exposed to things like this, look for a different place.

John SR Hoback

This is the worst experience of my life. The Dr saw you threw Skype. I needed to see a dietician cause I couldn't eat the food or drink their tea or punch. They were to sweet. My first day there they gave me bread and water. The nurse and techs let me take plastic bags with strings to my room and they never took the laces out of my shoes and let me keep my duffle bag in my room. I took cough drops with me and the nurse said I couldn't keep those and she put them in my stuff. There was a couple of incidences where there were only female staff and no males and the patients got violent and they didn't call for help. I did not feel safe there.

Abigail Baldwin

I went here about a year ago. And it was awful. The food was terrible, and the staff didn't care. The doctors were not educated enough.

Rebecca Ehman

My son is now 11 and suffers from psychiatric breaks. He was transferred to this facility about a year and a half ago. He has had 5 psychiatric stays in total and this is by far the worst. First off they accepted my son knowing they were not equipped to take care of him. I was told by 4 different employees that they should have never accepted him. The first time I got to visit my son he had been there 3 days. He obviously hadn't had a bath sense he had arrived. He reaked like urine and was so dirty and was still wearing the same clothes he arrived in. If that wasn't bad enough. When my son saw me he grabbed me to tight and just cried and wouldn't let go told me about how mean the other kids were and how the staff wouldn't do anything about it. My son at 10 years old was thrown in with a bunch of teenagers that had behaviour problems. He was neglected, abused verbally, and is still to this day completely traumatized by the whole experience. My son is scared to tell me how he feels now and when he is hearing voices or wants to kill himself all because a selfish bastard wanted to make a few more bucks. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS FACILITY!! They have no compassion or love for mankind in general. It is a horrible place and my son suffers still a year and a half later.

Anne S

Great working with this local facility!

Very Professional Staff!

Milo Gutierrez

Worst place our son has been. Don't waste your time taking a loved one here. Rude people is all that work here. They never cared for my son's health. All they do is baby sit and then let go the patience the same or worst then they came in.

Hailey 337

Pitiful filthy place you can't take showers even though all staff was told this. Showers are beyond too hot actually scalding hot to the point it burned your skin! Dr is a total joke! It's more like a prison than a place to get help. I would not recommend anyone going here. A waste of time for someone to get true help! Think it should be reported which I definitely plan on doing. On the plus side techs are the only ones who care and try to help and a couple of therapists!

they were verry nice to me when i was in there. The staff was fairly friendly but some of them were rude to me. it helped alot when i was in there. yes you can not have any shoe stings, hoody stings, and bra wres. they dont want you hurting your self. you are there to better your self.

I was hospitalized here back in 2012. Insurance covered 5 days however upon agreeing to go I was Told I'd only be there for 3. Guess they kept me until money was out. I was placed on 3 medications which helped me. The staff was okay, caring and actually took time to talk and even play cards with us. Room was clean and my room mate was awesome. I developed friendships that carried over. The food was okay. I was underweight when I went in do to depression they gave new ensure shakes to help while I was there, 3 a day. The psychiatrist sees you once a day for 10 min, not even making Eye contact or caring. I cried often cause I missed my kids. I had a newborn and wss dealing with Post partum depression. All in all tho, great experience.
