This place is awful and I would not recommend. You can’t ever talk to someone about an issue you are having with a prescription, but instead you have to leave a voicemail and then they never call you back. The nurse practictioner uped one of my medications from 150 mg to 225 a few months ago and I am STILL not getting my prescription for 225 because these people can’t call the pharmacy to change it. Instead, they call in for a 75 mg to add to the 150 when my 150 mg is already out! So I am now having to rely on 75 mg to manage my symptoms when i should be on 225! I’ve absolutely had it with this place. My depression and anxiety has honestly worsened because of them and having to deal with all of their worthless customer service.

Check your insurance - they don't. BrainPower in Newburgh was 100 percent better at checking insurance and doing the work to make sure everything is approved. Midwest stuck me with a 300 dollar bill just for sitting talking to a social worker for a hour about getting a child tested for ADD.

Very unprofessional place, would not recommend. Have been a patient here for 7-8 years and this past year has been excruciating. I got passed from my Dr to another with out any knowledge of this. I got a new insurance and it took me somewhere close to 5 calls and voicemails to finally receive a call back, I had to call the insurance and figure out what Midwest was doing wrong and then had to go back and explain to them how to do it a couple of times to finally be able to refill a prescription; this was a 3-4 week process. Now the Dr. I have been seeing for the past year is leaving the practice and since I did not respond in time, Midwest is dropping me as a patient; no phone call, just a letter in the mail that I didn’t get to in time because I wasn’t home for the holidays. So I’m being forced to switch providers but was planning on doing this anyways.

After a long wait, I first saw a therapist and she was nice. Then after another wait they called and canceled my appt with the nurse practitioner. Did not offer any consolation for all the time that had passed and required I wait another 1.5 months. They rescheduled & when it finalky came around, my 2nd appt, i managed to miss it. My phone didn't alert me as planned and we had snow and extreme temps. Still my fault though. They are refusing to reschedule stating they don't reschedule first appts . The person on the phone had no interest discussing anything, and transferred me to a voicemail. I left 1 and that's that.
