I have been with this office for 3 yrs now and yes its a doctors office, Keep up with my meds so if i am due for a refill i ake an apt BEFORE i run out I work out on the road so I may be out 6 to 10 weeks at a time. I believe they have helped me more than any other dr i've ever been to. THANKS DR.B Your knowlage of my illness has helped me to be a succfull leader in my industry as well as my relationship, I'D recomrnd to anyone with Issiues to contct this dr office.

The practice wouldn’t even schedule me for an appointment. They have a “stuck up” attitude and don’t seem to offer quality care. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

So disappointed. I was referred here by my primary simply because they supposedly accepted my insurance. After visiting about 5 times, I began receiving outrageous bills in the mail. They are overpriced, hard to get in contact with, and the office staff acts like it’s a bother to be there. I will not be recommending Indiana Health Group to anyone. It’s been such a stressful experience that I never want to go see a therapist again. The first and last time I’ll ever go to a therapist. When I would ask how much my appointment would cost, I would never get a straight answer. Never once did they give me a total. They took $100 upfront and that’s the last I heard of any payment until I received a bill for over $700. If they had been upfront about the cost, I wouldn’t have gone there. Do not go here as I am sure you will also be billed an outrageous amount.

Anthony Paladino

Tried to pay one of their bills online using their website, a service they advertise right on the invoice. I filled it out to pay my $40 and submitted the payment, but received no e-mail confirmation or receipt. A week later, my flex spend sends me a notice asking why I charged over $1100 at IHG. To their credit, they did refund the amount, but combine this with the myriad of other issues that I have experienced with the administrative staff (zero communication, draconian rules, failure to fulfill prescription requests, inability to schedule recurring appointments, etc), I cannot recommend IHG as a health provider, despite the quality of their doctors. Dealing with the administration has been a constant source of stress and frustration. For a mental health provider, I feel the level of service the administration provides does more to hurt their patients than their doctors help.

Christine Trehan

Worst place ever!! I have repeatedly had issues with sending them my credit card for payment and they never charge it. They then send me to collections for a bill I paid last NOVEMBER that I have not received another bill for. Then they act like I am the problem. This after we sat in the office for two hours for an appointment we never saw the doctor for.

As the previous reviewer said, BEWARE. This place advertises itself as the largest mental healthcare provider in Indiana. They do have quite a few doctors and they are good. However, outside of the doctor's office you will get no help, support, or even basic services. They don't allow you to set up standing appointments, even if you come in every week. You can only schedule a rolling 5 week schedule. So you have to reschedule a new appointment every time you come in if you have any hope of keeping your normal time, and even then you often can't get the same time. If you miss a week of scheduling, quite often you'll be unable to get a slot the next time you come in. I've been in there and seen only one window open for checking in, checking out, scheduling appointments, and processing new patients. So if you don't arrive very early, you run the risk of being late for your appointment because you are unable to check in. They won't communicate with pharmacies in any way. When you need a refill, you have to go into the office and get a paper prescription and take (or mail) it to the pharmacy. If you try and have your pharmacy contact them to set up a refill they will either ignore or decline the request. I've had 2 different pharmacies cancel my prescriptions because they couldn't get any response. If you have the mistfortune to need to call them about a prescription, good luck. They don't answer the phone, you have to leave a message and they only process those messages for approximately 3-4 hours every day. They also warn you to not leave duplicate messages or they will ignore both messages. I've seen it take over a week to get a response about a prescription refill. And that only after I sent them a complaint letter. Also after that pharmacy prescription has failed to refill and the pharmacy had cancelled your prescription and you've waited for a week for someone from IHG to call you to say that you need to come in and get a new paper prescription from your provider, they will tell you that as a 'service' they will send a 30 day emergency refill to the pharmacy. They'll also charge you $20 for that service. Go elsewhere. You'll get better support from a single doctor office who pays their teenage daughter to answer the phones.

My husband went to them over a year ago. He suffered from ocd and anxiety. They got him on some medication but he was really struggling with his anxiety. Anytime he brought it up they would switch meds or up a dose. The finally found one that was working. He was okay for a bit and then started having extreme panic attacks. He had to quit a good paying job because he couldn’t deal. They tried to give him Xanax and other things that are highly addictive and never once addressed his anxiety. They made him feel like it was all his fault and it was in his head. After dealing with a med med dr who didn’t seem to care at all that he was struggling stuff with panic attacks. Missing work, feeling depressed, just at his end. We changed drs and within the first session he figured out at the medication he was on wasn’t meant to address his panic attacks or anxiety. The medication he was on was trying to do all the work and was failing! He added a medication that would help with his depression and anxiety and within 2 weeks it was night and day. He was able to make it to work without falling all for 2 weeks. When before he was missing one or two days every week due to panic. A year of feeling like your crazy and in one day this new dr figured it out!!! I absolutely would never recommend IHG. The worst experience our family has had. They took days to call back, gave you a hard time if you would call back, didn’t seem to care at all for their patients. How can 2 drs let a man suffer for a year and another within 45 mins was able to address the problem? If you can avoid this place please do !

Staff is always friendly. Dr. Tyler Flanningham is always friendly, professional and I'd recommend him to anyone with similar issues.

Doug Smith

Great group. Staff is overwhelmed at times but very attentive whenever I am there. Had some similar issues with med refills from pharmacy, but they explained that they require patients to call to ask for refills since before that pharmacies were calling them all the time asking to refill prescriptions that had been been changed or canceled, then patients might get wrong meds or dose or be charged for stuff they weren't taking anymore. Phones are always busy, usually can't get through and have to leave a voice mail but they always call me back within time frame the state (2 bus. days), or I leave a message on the website which works great. Overall very happy.

If you need psychiatric care, I don't recommend IHG. Your needs will not be met even when they are dire. I ended up leaving this year (2017) because I only got 15 minute appointments from the business office, and when I requested more time, it was denied, even when I had to make an emergency appointment. This surprised me because as a previous patient in 2013-2014, I always got an hour with my doctor. There has clearly been some management shuffling around since then, and to my detriment. Bottom line: business office needs a serious overhaul, and not the care providers. There is only so much I can accomplish with psychiatric services in 15 minutes. I loved my doctor very much, and thought he was great in the year that I was a patient. I really would have liked to keep seeing him. But scheduling made it impossible for me.

Dalton Phillips

Amazing practice with wonderful providers. I would highly recommend Terry M. Parrish , MD as a psychiatrist. He is empathetic, understanding and incredibly knowledgeable. The focus on the patient he gives is phenomenal.

Tony Tuite

Don't expect anyone to answer or return phone calls. They have 8 people in the office, and none of them answer phones, but they're on the phone every time I was able to get an appointment. Had to miss an appointment, started calling 3 days in advance. Left 4 messages and never received a call back. In fact, never heard another word until I got a bill for $75 missed appointment fee and finally another letter stating that they were no longer accepting my health insurance. The doctors, when you can actually see them, are amazing. They are the only reason I give 2 stars, otherwise I'd have to hack Google to find a way to give negative stars. Aside from that, don't waste your time. Because that's all it is trying to get a hold of this group is, a waste of time.

While the practitioners may be solid, the front office staff are horrific - impersonal, rude, and impatient. It amazes me that highly intelligent people with advanced degrees fail to understand how much their business relies upon "first contact" by a customer/patient. Although I have put up with this numerous times over the years, today is my last visit. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has called it quits due to the persistent poor reception upon walking in the door.

Doctors are great. There is one counselor that would always run 15 minutes into my daughter's counseling time and wouldn't make it up...but we changed counselors and he's just as great. I've beengoing there for 17 years and while I admit admin was a little "brusque", I've noticed a huge change in the last six months and they seem pretty helpful for as busy as they are. I have NEVER had an issue with re-fills, even when I was overdue for an appt - as long as I put one on the books. I think the key is not failing multiple appointments and paying your bills.

Hanna Sullivan

Was prescribed medications that I was not properly diagnosed to receive, became dependent on them and addicted to them; also was taken off of an antidepressant cold turkey causing me to go into delirious, seizure-like symptoms that lasted for days, only to find out after that that that medication was one that should NEVER be taken off that abruptly. Very negligent psychiatrist. Also, extremely uncomfortable and creepy vibes from male therapist I saw as a young teenage girl. Do NOT recommend this facility, very shady.

Charles Brattain

Dr. Flaningham is the most professional doctor I have ever spoken to and the Staff is great as well.Highly recommend this place!

My daughter and I have both been thrilled with our therapies with Christy Falink. I see her at the Carmel office and my daughter prefers seeing her at the Hoofprints for Hope site that uses horses during therapy. Today I tried Dr. Gregory Singleton for the first time. I have been using my Primary Care Doctor for my medications, but they weren’t helping. I felt at ease with Dr. Singleton right away and shared my issues. I am SO thankful I went! I learned that 2 of my 3 medications were not at what is considered therapeutic levels and they probably were not helping at all. We started with increasing the one that should help me feel better the quickest then next month we will review and go from there. I highly suggest seeing him, especially if you are not seeing a Doctor that specializes in mental health related medications. My daughter and I are both very thankful for Indiana Health Group. She went to another place for many years and the therapy there was very negative and did not help her work through her stress. She also sees Dr. Mishra for medication management and he has been very kind and positive at every visit!

I had an appointment with dr webber Monday. The result was a prescription that needed to be called in and would be considered an early fill. I expressed my concern the pharmacy may not fill it but dr webber seemed confident he would direct them to early fill, and he would call it in later that day. Monday came and went and no prescription called in. Tuesday I called the "technicians" probably 10 times, left messages, but never got a return phone call. The only time they called me was before the appointment for my cc information. Finally Tuesday night the pharmacy says they have my prescription, but it's an early fill. The technician left no instructions for an early fill. So I call again to the dr office, no answer. Finally I call scheduling to explain my situation and that I need my prescription. Obviously there was nothing the scheduling person could do. She ask if I wanted to leave the technicians a voicemail for Wednesday, I just said why bother. They only care about my cc information. I spent hours trying to get something accomplished that should be easy with any amount of communication. Regardless of who you are your time is not more valuable than anyone else's. It's clear the people responsible for calling in prescriptions for the Drs aren't concerned with my prescription and probably just see me, and possibly others, as an annoyance. If this is how your viewed at a medical health office dont expect more from others.... I asked the scheduling woman if I could leave a message for dr webber so he is aware of the problems I experienced? She said no, all messages go through the technicians... I hope the Drs take time to read reviews from time to time. I respect Dr webber and appreciate his help. I dont appreciate being treated like a cc by the technicians. If helping people is so bothersome for you technicians please find a job more suitable for you, or simply help someone who may really need it. Thanks for your limited time. Brian

I've also experienced a rough, and uncaring interaction with receptionist. They are insensitive to certain patients, and are not urgent to return or answer phones calls. I am in the process of looking for another medical provider, that isn't only interested in charging for unauthorized appointments. Unexpected circumstances appear at times in everyone's lives, and they are keenly aware of that fact. The doctors are very great, I would be the first to admit it, and stand by, but the staff needs some training in customer services and overall business morale and conducting.

BEWARE!! This place only care about the all mighty $.. I ran out of meds and called the office several times before someone finally told me that I owe them $20 and I would have to pay that before he would be able to see me. She said they turned me over to collections.. I only received one bill and it was only 3 months old. They don't care about patients, STAY AWAY!!!

L M

I enjoy the meetings and they do what they are indended for. No complaints at all. Great at rescheduling and very professional.

Have been going to Dr Chris Bojrab for a long time. His office is one of the best run medical offices I have seen. Never had any issues getting prescriptions refilled. But as with any MD's office you have to follow through with scheduled appointments to get prescriptions refilled... usually done right then by computer. On occasion a script will get off timed/time out and they will refill if you call or email them. They just don't refill prescription requests from the pharmacy alone as per their posted policy. But they will act on a pharmacy faxed pre-authorization forms. I mention all of this prescription information due to the negative reviews. Never had a problem with billing either - and I have had to postpone payments in the past. And I have never had an RN or MD not call me back if I have a problem/issue. The billing department and the RN/MD/Therapists are different departments then billing. As long as you go to scheduled appointments they will refill prescriptions. Maybe these people are trying to get controlled substances refilled way too soon or something.

I was referred here and they recomended a slew of tests that cost me more money that I have. My insurance paid for part of this but they never did disclose how much I would be responsible for before I underwent tests. If I had known, I never would have gone through with the tests because they amounted to telling me nothing. Now I am stuck with a bill of about $1000. I went in for a follow up and the receptionists were doing their hair with very low cut blouses on, tatoos showing, very unprofessional. they sent me to the 2nd floor to wait. I waited for 45 minutes and went back down because I was never called. They sent me back up and I was told they never told the therapist I was waiting and there for my appointment. This after waiting 3 months for an appointment. Now I can't get back in to see anyone because I have this bill due. They are not so much into caring for people as they are interested in collecting money and providing services that are exorbitant in costs yet not effective in helping people. I would chose another office. I've given them a few chances and after all of this, I'm done with this office.

It turns out that more than a few people who live with mental illness will also do things like miss an appointment or a payment. If that's you, don't go here. You'll run out of meds and will have to white knuckle until you can schedule an appointment. They will withhold meds over owing $20.

I've been going to IHG for a little over a year and I have had wonderful results with each visit. I have always experienced very kind front desk staff, and my provider is very wonderful! I feel very comfortable talking with her about any of my concerns and she is always great about giving me any answers or explanations I need. I feel like she actually cares about my needs and I enjoy coming to my appointments. The place is so clean, and their interior design makes the place seem very calming and soothing. Highly recommend for any mental health concerns!

Perunalum

We came to IHG after very poor counseling at Community Health - Hillsdale. My son sees their Autism Specialist Richard Jones is wonderful. Knowledgable, insightful, caring and pro-active - light years better than what we were used. The front desk staff is professional and curious. Highly recommended.

Brandon Brown

I've been going to IHG for 5 years. They are awesome. The front desk people are friendly and helpful; my doctor is great, listens and gives good advice and in general it's a pleasant place to work on your mental health.

gabrielle cruser

The psychiatrist I see is professional and personable. Sometimes our appointments are thirty minutes other visits last an hour. Either way I feel like my mental health is the focus. Medication management is indeed a portion of my therapy and I am confident in the credentials of my prescribe. I have encountered an issue with brand name medication not being one covered by insurance, but I was promptly connected with a medical assistant whom informed the doctor. I was given a prescription discount card that made paying for the brand name even less than the generic month supply. As to the front office "Catch More Flies with Honey than Vinegar" these ladies hear it all bear that in mind.

Elizabeth Rodda

Dr. Bojrab is the most understanding, empathetic, best psychiatrist I've ever had. He also has an infectious sense of humor and you leave his office feeling a million times better. He is also willing to help you by finding the perfect solution to your medication needs. If one medicine fails for you, he won't just quit trying, he'll find a way to help you. He just has a gift for making people feel like they're in excellent hands. I'd also like to mention Kim Keller. She has also been the best therapist I've ever had (and I've been going to therapy for many years, so I'm a bit of an expert on excellence in the therapeutic environment.) She is extremely helpful and talented and she makes you feel like she truly cares. I applaud IHG for their excellent staff! That said, I have a slight issue with the front office personnel. They are occasionally quite rude, both on the phone and at the desk. They seem to get messages mixed up a good amount of the time. And a couple of them act as if you are wasting their time, and wish they could be anywhere else. There are a few that seem ok, but on the whole, I do not enjoy interacting with them.

Scott Brandon

Rudest front office crew. Don't call in or they won't treat you like a patient. If you have an issue. They won't help you get it resolved. Too bad I have to see my doctor for my mental health because those ladies are mean and hard to deal with.

Lauren Elliott

Emily Auth

Excellent team of therapists and nurse practitioners. They've helped me through some really dark times!

Joni Irwin

I have been going to IHG since the late 1980's. I have never encountered the problems that I see on the reviews. Having worked in the mental health field for quite awhile, I do realize just how short staffed the entire mental health field has become. You can't blame IHG for this because they do their best to meet the needs of those seeking mental health support. Dr. Chris Bojrab is one of the best psychiatrists we have in Central Indiana and beyond. IHG offers so many services that many outpatient facilities do not offer. You can find a full continuum of services at their facility. If you don't understand how the office works, why meds can't be refilled, or why it takes longer to get into a doctor or therapist, don't hesitate to ask. I have always found their front office staff to be very helpful and answer any questions I may have. Be patient, there are fewer and fewer mental health care facilities available today.

ginger rodriguez

Good morning mimosa I hope you're feeling better this morning hopefully we can get you up and moving and get you some help God only knows what he does in store for you today I love you

Scott Snell

Parking is the only issue I have run into. Professional and courteous staff.

Candi P

My PCP recommended this place only because it is in my network. I saw initially Robert W. Jeffries. And then I saw him again approximately 4-5 more times thereafter. if you are assigned to him...run. He keeps repeating the same papers of questions each visit. and will quickly refer tests that you will have to pay out of your own pocket. And here is the interesting piece to this madness of a place. As of Fe. 1, 2019 and three tests that I took...I am still waiting and my PCP is waiting for my results. My PCP is disgusted and apologized about sending me there. Too many others to see that can help when someone is diagnosed with anxiety and depression. DO NOT GO HERE AND DEFINITELY DO NOT SEE ROBERT W. JEFFRIES!!!!!!!
